William's POV
The sun was beginning to set as we finally pulled into port, and I could feel my blood pumping with excitement. The plan was finally coming together. We were going to strike at the heart of the rival gang, and we were going to hit them hard.
As we tied up the ship, I shared the Shadow Clan wolves into two groups. One was to unload the cargo as fast as possible, while I led the others to hunt the members of the rival gang. Those unloading were to join us the moment they were done, and we would strike together.
"Are you ready?" I asked Ava.
"More than ready," she said, her voice filled with determination.
"Good," I said. "We've got a job to do."
I could feel my blood pumping with excitement when we caught the first gang member. This was the moment we had been waiting for, and I was ready to strike. As I held him up, his legs not touching the ground, I drained him of all his blood, sniffing him to identify every human smell on him. Once I had identified every human he had been in contact with, I shared the Shadow Clan wolves into groups of two to track each person's scent and kill them.
"We are not letting them get away this time, we are going to track down every one of them."
Ava nodded, her eyes locked on mine. We were a team, and together we were unstoppable.
"Let's do this," she said, her voice low and filled with resolve.
As we fully transformed into wolves, we set out into the night. The hunt had begun. The scent of humans was everywhere, but we knew what we were looking for. We followed their trail, one footstep at a time, until we finally caught up with them.
The hunt was easy at first, but as we got closer to the heart of the rival gang's territory, the going got tougher. We had to move silently and with caution, always on the lookout for any possible ambush.
But my wolves were trained for this, and we moved with the efficiency of a well-oiled machine. As the night wore on, we took down more and more of the rival gang's members, and eventually we stood triumphantly over their leader's body.
The moon hung high in the inky sky as the Clan of werewolves prowled through the shadows, their primal instincts awakened. With fierce determination, they tracked down a gang of humans, their prey for the night. The air was thick with tension as the two groups faced off, each fully aware of the impending violence.
In a chilling howl that pierced the night, I signaled the start of the macabre dance. Fangs bared and claws unsheathed, the werewolves lunged at their human victims. The ensuing chaos was a grotesque spectacle of savagery and brutality.
Limbs were torn asunder, bones snapped like twigs, and blood spurted in crimson arcs. Driven by our insatiable hunger, tore into the flesh of our prey with ravenous delight.
One by one, the gang members fell victim to the relentless onslaught. Their desperate attempts to fight back were futile against the superior strength and speed of their lupine adversaries. We reveled in the power coursing through our veins, our eyes glowing with a primal fire.
As the night wore on, the gruesome scene transformed into a nightmarish tableau. Mangled bodies lay strewn across the desolate street, their life force drained by the insatiable hunger of the werewolves. The stench of death hung heavy in the air, mingling with the metallic tang of blood.
One by one, we took them down, using our superior speed and strength to overpower them. As the night wore on, we took down more and more of the rival gang's members, until we finally stood triumphantly over their leader's body.
"We did it," I said, my voice filled with admiration for my wolves. "We struck the heart of the rival gang."
Ava nodded, her voice low and filled with pride. "We couldn't have done it without you," she said.
I smiled. "That's why we are a team," I said. "We fight together, and we win together."
"Let's head back to the ship and get some rest, we have got a long journey ahead of us."
Still intoxicated by the taste of fresh blood, we retreated into the shadows taking with us all evidence of our feeding. Our eyes glinted with a feral satisfaction, knowing we had asserted our dominance over the hapless gang of humans. The moon, witness to the gory spectacle, cast an eerie glow over the aftermath, highlighting the carnage that had unfolded.
"We did it," I said, my voice low and full of admiration for my wolves. "We struck the heart of the rival gang."
Ava nodded, her voice low and full of pride. "We couldn't have done it without you," she said.
I smiled. "That's why we are a team," I said. "We fight together, and we win together."
"I must admit, I had a great time tonight," Ava said, her eyes lit up with a mix of excitement and satisfaction. "I haven't happily feasted on human blood for as long as I could remember, and it was wonderful to finally do so again."
I nodded in agreement, a smile spreading across my face. Human blood was a rare delicacy among her people, and it was always an experience to savour for Ava.
"It's not every day that we get to enjoy such a fine meal but tonight, we truly lived like royalty."
Ava chuckled, her eyes filled with amusement. "You know, I always enjoy the way you wax poetic about human blood," she said. "It's one of the things I love most about you."
I smiled as I held her. "And I love how you always find a way to see the beauty in even the most gruesome of situations," I said. "Together, we make a good team."
Ava nodded in agreement. "We do indeed," she said. "And I can't wait to see what new adventures await us in the future."
I couldn't help but feel a twinge of excitement at her words. The thought of more adventures, more human blood feasts, more moments to share with Ava, made my heart sing with joy.
"There's nothing I love more than sharing these moments with you, you make even our most perilous journeys something to look forward to."
Ava smiled, her eyes glistening with affection. "And you make even the most tedious of tasks seem like a grand adventure," she said.
I leaned in and kissed her cheek. "You are my everything, Ava," I said. "I couldn't ask for a better mate by my side."
Ava giggled, her voice filled with happiness. "You always know just what to say to make a girl feel special," she said. "And I feel like the luckiest she-wolf in the world to have you by my side."
Ava leaned her head against my chest, her eyes closed as she let out a contented sigh. "Thanks for tonight, William," she said, her voice filled with emotion.
I smiled. "I love you," I said. "More than anything in this world."
Ava looked up at me, her eyes shining with affection. "How lucky we are to have each other," she said. "To always have someone by our side, no matter what challenges we face."
I leaned down and kissed her forehead. "We are very lucky indeed," I said. "And we'll always be there for each other, through thick and thin."
As Ava and I continued walking together, deep in conversation about our latest hunt, Thomas's voice interrupted our conversation. "Thomas, what is it?" I asked, looking up at him with curiosity.
Thomas breathed in deeply before responding, "The mission is not over yet." His voice was serious, and there was a sense of urgency in his eyes. "The mission is not over until our ship, the Crimson Tide, is out of port before morning."
Ava's eyes widened as she looked at Thomas, understanding the gravity of the situation. "We have to leave, now," she said as she picked up her pace.
I nodded, "Agreed, we need to get back to the ship and set sail before dawn." I howled, a clear signal for the entire team to hurry up.
As we made our way back to the dock, the adrenaline was pumping through my veins. The mission was urgent, and we had to make every second count. The ship was in sight, and we ran as fast as we could to get back on board.
As we reached the dock, I could see the Crimson Tide, her sails unfurled and her flag snapping in the breeze. The sun was starting to rise on the horizon, shining a warm light over the waters. We climbed aboard the ship, quickly making our way to the deck.
"We're almost there," I said, my voice ringing over the waters. "Let's go, team. We have to hurry."
As we walked across the deck, I could see the excitement on everyone's faces. We were all eager to get out of port and complete the mission.
Finally, the Crimson Tide was out of the port, and we all breathed a sigh of relief. We had made it. The mission was a success.
As we stood on the deck, looking out over the vast and endless sea, I felt a sense of accomplishment wash over me. We had worked together as a team, and we had accomplished something great. With Ava by my side, I knew that we could do anything.
"Well done, everyone did it!" I exclaimed.
By the time the sun was fully in the sky, we were already far out at sea admiring all that we took from the gang we had just eliminated as we headed for our secret hideout to store the gold and other non-perishable items of value.
