William's POV
As I got ready for my meeting with Thomas and the captain, I couldn't help but think about the potions Ava had given me. They seemed like they could be a real lifesaver in a tight situation.
Ava turned to face me, a small smile playing at the corners of her lips. "What's up, William, you look lost in your thoughts?" she asked, her eyes meeting mine.
I smiled back as I gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Just wanted to say thank you for the potions," I said, my voice filled with gratitude.
Ava's smile grew wider, and she nodded, her eyes soft with emotion. "Of course, William," she said, her voice low and gentle. "I'd do anything to keep us safe."
I gave Ava a grin. "You already have, Ava," I said. "I have a meeting with Thomas and the captain to decide on a plan to eradicate our adversaries. I'll let you know how everything goes."
Ava nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of her lips. "Good luck, William," she said, her voice filled with hope. "I'll be here waiting for you when you get back."
I nodded. "Let's hope we can put an end to all this once and for all," I said, my voice firm. "And if not, we'll still have each other. And that's worth more than anything."
Ava nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of her lips. "Yes, William," she said, her voice low and gentle. "We'll always have each other."
I walked onto the ship's bridge, taking in the sight of the captain and Thomas already there. Both of them were deep in thought, their eyes fixed on the map laid out in front of them.
"Morning, Thomas," I said, my voice low as I approached them.
Thomas turned to face me. "Morning, William," he said, his voice firm. "Glad to see you made it on time."
I nodded, a sense of urgency wash over me. "Of course," I said. "We need to come up with a plan to start eradicating our adversaries as soon as possible."
As Thomas and I sat on the ship's bridge, he took a deep breath and turned to face me. "William, there's something else we need to discuss," he said, his voice low and serious.
I nodded, my eyes fixed on his. "What is it, Thomas?" I asked, my voice filled with curiosity.
Thomas leaned in closer, his eyes locked on mine. "We're not just going up against gangs in Europe and the middle East, William," he said, his voice low and serious. "We're essentially going up against every human who trades drugs, slaves and guns."
I nodded, my eyes fixed on his. "I understand, Thomas," I said. "But we can't let that discourage us. We need to push ahead, no matter what."
Thomas nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of his lips. "Agreed, William," he said, his voice firm. "But we need to be careful. These human adversaries will do anything to hold onto their power and influence."
I nodded in agreement. "And we'll do everything in our power to stop them," I said. "We will take them out one gang at a time and it will be a clean house operation, we leave no living evidence behind and their possessions are ours."
"The longer we wait, the stronger they will become." I said as I momentarily paced the room.
Thomas nodded again, a small smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "I agree," he said, his voice firm. "But we can't afford any mistakes. We need a plan that's thorough and well-defined."
The captain cleared his throat, his eyes fixed on me. "I think I have something," he said, his voice low and serious. "But it's risky. Very risky."
Thomas and I both turned to face him, our eyes filled with curiosity. "I'm listening," I said as I leaned into the table maintaining my gaze with the captain.
The captain smiled, "We hit them at their weakest point," he said, his voice low and serious. "We take out their leader. That will create chaos and confusion, and that's when we strike."
Thomas and I both nodded, our eyes fixed on the captain. "It's a risky plan, captain," I said, my voice firm. "But it could work."
The captain smiled again, his eyes locked on ours. "Let's do it," he said, his voice filled with determination. "This is our chance to take down our adversaries once and for all in very manageable installments."
As Thomas paced about the deck thinking about what the captain said, he also added, "William, I have a brilliant idea," he said, his voice low and serious.
I raised an eyebrow, my eyes filled with curiosity. "What is it, Thomas?" I asked, my voice filled with eager anticipation.
Thomas leaned in closer, his eyes locked on mine. "We start with the weakest gangs," he said, his voice low and serious. "Those that are already at war."
I nodded, my eyes fixed on his. "Ok, Thomas, go on," I said, my voice filled with curiosity.
Thomas took a deep breath, his eyes fixed on mine. "We kill their leaders," he said, his voice firm. "The ones who are keeping these gangs together. Once they're out of the picture, they'll start to fight amongst themselves, thinking the other side attacked them first."
I raised an eyebrow, my eyes filled with understanding. "And in the middle of the chaos, we come in to clean up the remains of the two fighting gangs," I said as gave off a menacing smile.
Thomas nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of his lips. "Exactly, William," he said, his voice firm. "We use their fighting as a distraction to take them down."
I nodded, feeling a surge of excitement wash over me. "It's a brilliant plan, Thomas," I said, my voice filled with gratitude. "We will let in the rest of the clan on our plan and how we intend to make it happen. We must walk with the utmost stealth."
As I sat in the ship's control room with Thomas and the captain, I took a deep breath and turned to face them. "Thomas, captain, I need to tell you about the potion Ava made."
