Chapter 130 ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY
Chapter 130 ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY
TESS
It has been about ten hours since Jack left with very little explanation about why Shirley was calling him.
He hasn’t called me to tell me what was going on.
He hasn’t even dropped a text.
My phone has not left my hands since morning because I didn’t want to miss his call. Even when sleep threatened to come, I pushed it away so that I wouldn’t miss his call.
Even teenagers who have just been introduced to sex don’t act the way I’m acting.
It was ridiculous to watch.
Each time my phone beeped, I would immediately unlock it, sigh, and drop it in disappointment when I saw it wasn’t him.
What exactly is going on with me?
Why am I so interested in Jack?
Maybe it's because of the way he fucks me real good, the way he will lift my ass up and slam his dick from behind with no mercy.
It is exactly how I like to be fucked.
None of my ex-boyfriends or fuck buddies met up to my high sexual expectations; each time I told them what I want, they would look at me like I’m insane.
I am quite adventurous in the bedroom; I believe sex is like therapy. Once a woman cums, her body feels refreshed and whole again.
That’s why I fuck without looking back because sex helps me think straight, except now that it is driving me insane.
I’m literally chasing after a man that I don’t even know if he wants to be chased.
How the mighty have fallen.
I used to be the one; men chased after me while I sat down quietly to analyze and make my choice.
Now…the tables have turned.
Things were going so well; he spoke to me softly, assuring me that nothing was going on between them until she started calling him.
I ran my hand over my hair in frustration. ‘I should call him’
I sat up on my bed, grabbed my phone, found his number, but started having second thoughts.
‘No…it would make me look so cheap’
‘What if he wants me to call him first? What if he is scared of calling me because he fears I would misunderstand him?’
I groaned, ‘No…I should put the phone down’
Yet….my hands refused to drop the phone.
Yeah…you heard me…my hands refused, not me.
‘Fuck it,’ I said and dialed his number.
I will just call him once, just to make sure.
The phone rang.
No response.
‘What the fuck?’
Just one more time; maybe he was in the bathroom when it rang.
I dialed his number again; it rang and rang, yet…he didn’t answer.
I almost slapped myself.
This is the most embarrassing thing I have ever done.
Somewhere in my mind, I told myself that he would call back and explain everything.
I waited…
Ten minutes….twenty five minutes….one hour….two hours….not a single beep from him.
I was hysterical.
Why did I fucking call him back?
He is obviously with her, probably talking to her, laughing, remembering the good times they had in the past, or he probably took her home and is drilling his big, thick dick into her pussy while Shirley holds him, looks into his eyes, and tells him that she still loves him.
My face darkened.
‘Fine. If that’s what you want, Jack. I’m fucking done with you!!!’ I yelled at the innocent wall as if it were Jack.
Then…I started kicking the wall, yelling profanities, calling it anything terrible that came to my head until I stopped to catch my breath.
‘I will show you what you are missing, Jack. You will beg me to give you another chance’
I waited till evening time, and the bastard still didn’t call.
I got dressed, headed out to a club, found a great corner where I could see everyone who came in, and ordered a drink to keep me going for the evening.
I had taken about three shots of the tequila that I ordered; my head was already spinning, but I kept going, believing that enough alcohol would get Jack out of my system.
‘Hello,’ a strange voice said beside me.
My head snapped up; my vision was blurry. ‘Jack….?’ I slurred.
The stranger laughed. ‘Nope. I’m not Jack. Do you mind if I sit with you?’
‘Why? You didn’t come with a date?’
He was strikingly handsome, the kind that can bring you to your knees and make you super wet just by winking at you.
‘I got stood up?’
I blinked. ‘You got stood up? That’s unbelievable’
‘Why do you say that?’
‘Because you are sexy as fuck, who in their right frame of mind would want to stand you up?’
He smiled. ‘Apparently, my date…’
‘Well, it’s her loss,’ I said and poured the contents of my glass down my throat.
He sat beside me.
‘I didn’t tell you to sit down’
He scoffed. ‘I thought you needed the company’
I frowned. ‘Why? Because I look sad and pathetic?’
‘I never said that. You look like you will be good company; I just want to have fun with someone who likes to have fun.’
I shrugged. ‘In that case, you came to the right person’
‘Let me get the next round,’ he said, signaling for more drinks to be brought to our table.
We started talking.
The conversation was easy, funny, interesting.
The drinks kept coming, and we kept drowning them talking about the terrible relationships we have had.
I was really enjoying his company so much that I was starting to forget about Jack until….my phone started ringing, and I was staring right at the name of the person I thought I could forget.
Jack.
I frowned and grabbed my phone stiffly. ‘What the hell does he want now?’ I murmured.
I picked up the call. ‘What is it?’ I barked.
Jack’s soft voice came. ‘Tess, wait…where are you?’
‘That’s definitely none of your business’
‘Are you still mad at me? Is that why you're speaking to me in that way?’
I scoffed. ‘No…I’m not angry at you. How can I be angry at someone that didn’t bother to call me?’
A sigh escaped his lips. ‘Listen Tess, I can explain everything’
‘Like you explained in the house? Oh please, I have had enough of you and your shenanigans. Right now, I’m in a club having the best time of my life, speaking to the sexiest man alive who would probably take me home and fuck me till I’m limping. I don’t have time for you, Jack.’
‘Which club are you in, Tess? I’m coming there right now. Who are you with?’
I laughed hysterically. ‘Someone with a bigger dick than you. Goodbye, Jack, don’t call me again’
‘No…Tess, wait, please’
I dropped the call.
‘So, I guess that’s was your boyfriend, huh?’ the stranger asked.
‘Nope, just someone I wish I never met,’ I replied.
‘Ouch,’ he said.
He raised his glass. ‘Let’s make a toast to new beginnings’
We clicked our glasses and continued our conversation.
