Chapter 598: Insisting on Making You a Mistress

Chapter 598: Insisting on Making You a Mistress

If it had been before, she wouldn't have been able to resist the temptation of the red wine.

But after being locked up by Lawrence for a year, she had long since kicked her drinking habit.

Even though the red wine was right in front of her and she wanted to drink it, it didn't matter to her now.

Her eyes lingered on the wine for only a few seconds before she turned her head to look elsewhere.

The maid was a bit confused seeing her like this, her slender fingers tightly clasped together. What was going on? Wasn't it said that as long as she had a taste of the fragrant red wine, she would compromise?

The maid called out to her a few times, but seeing that she still ignored her, she sighed helplessly and left the living room.

Instantly, the living room fell silent again.

No one knew how much time had passed, but Molly, who was staging a hunger strike, began to feel sleepy while sitting on the sofa.

She casually grabbed a throw pillow, leaned back on the sofa, and fell into a deep sleep.

Because the living room was so quiet, Molly slept particularly soundly and deeply.

After a while, a sudden rush of footsteps approached and stopped beside her.

Molly continued to sleep soundly, hugging the pillow, undisturbed.

The next second, a pair of large hands lifted her from the sofa like an eagle grabbing a chick.

Molly was finally awakened, furrowing her brows and slowly opening her eyes.

When she saw the situation clearly, she realized she had been carried to a bedroom on the second floor.

She looked closely and saw that it was Lawrence holding her. She immediately began to struggle, but the next second, Lawrence roughly threw her onto the bed.

She let out a muffled groan from the impact, and before she could sit up, Lawrence's tall figure pressed down on her. His long fingers gripped her chin as he sneered, "Molly, what era do you think this is? Still playing the hunger strike game with me? Let me tell you, even if you starve to death here, you won't get out!"

Molly's eyes instantly turned cold, biting her lip as she said, "Lawrence, let me tell you, even if I starve to death here, I will never be your mistress!"

Lawrence suddenly laughed coldly, raising an eyebrow slightly, "Molly, stop pretending. If you could really go to your death, the sun would rise in the west."

Molly was furious, her face turning red with anger.

Lawrence raised his hand to touch her flushed face, mocking, "Look at you, still the same as before, lying and turning red."

Molly shouted at him, "I am not!"

Lawrence smirked wickedly, "Keep your voice down. There's only the two of us in this room."

With that, he glanced at her collar with a wicked smile.

Molly sensed something was wrong and immediately pushed him away, cursing, "Bastard Lawrence, get away from me!"

Lawrence didn't move away; instead, his large hands grabbed her collar, pulling it open.

Molly's face turned red, and she immediately struggled.

Lawrence stared at her flushed face, smiling slightly, then used his strength to easily kiss her red lips.

This woman didn't want to be a mistress? He would make her one!

Molly struggled continuously but couldn't break free.

Their intimate shadows were cast on the wall, and suddenly a gasp was heard.

Lawrence's tall figure stiffened, and Molly took the opportunity to push him aside and quickly kicked him off the bed.

The sound of him falling and the muffled groan broke the room's tension.

Molly quickly got off the bed and ran to the floor-to-ceiling window.

The window was locked, but she easily unlocked and opened it, standing by the window with her thin figure.

Lawrence, clutching his stomach, sat up and saw Molly standing by the window with a determined expression.

His eyes tightened, and he immediately shouted, "Molly, what are you doing? Don't do anything rash!"

Molly glanced at him coldly, sneered, and stepped onto the low windowsill, flipping out without hesitation.

A few seconds later, a heavy thud struck Lawrence's heart.

Lawrence froze, his handsome face turning pale.

"Molly! Damn woman!" he muttered under his breath.

He immediately turned and ran downstairs.

Molly, who had jumped from the bedroom, was now lying on the ground, clutching her leg in pain, tears streaming down her face.

The excruciating pain was almost unbearable; she might as well have died from the fall. Now her leg was broken, and the pain was unbearable.

Her jump had alerted the guards at the door, who immediately ran in to check.

Molly, in pain, pleaded, "Please, someone knock me out! I'm in so much pain!"

She grimaced, wondering why the soft grass felt so hard.

That jump nearly sent her to meet the Grim Reaper.

A group of guards surrounded her, and suddenly a tall figure ran out of the villa, quickly reaching Molly's side.

Molly immediately shouted at him, "Stay away from me! Don't come near me!"

As soon as she finished speaking, Lawrence picked her up.

Lawrence, like a madman, carried her outside, shouting at Manuel, "What are you standing there for? Get the car ready!"

Manuel quickly nodded and rushed to prepare the car.

Molly was in so much pain that she couldn't struggle anymore, letting Lawrence carry her as she cried out in pain.

Manuel started the car and headed to the nearest hospital.

Molly's leg hurt so much that she couldn't sit properly, leaning slightly and resting against Lawrence.

She bit her back teeth hard, trying not to make a sound, but tears kept flowing.

Damn, it hurt so much!

If she had known jumping out the window would end like this, she wouldn't have done it. Only a fool would jump!

Lawrence, half-holding her, had a dark and scary expression.

He could clearly feel Molly's deliberate endurance and her body shaking from crying. He clenched his fists, trying not to move so Molly could lean comfortably.

The car quickly arrived at the nearest hospital.

Although the suburban hospital couldn't compare to the city's, it had advanced medical equipment due to its proximity to the villa area.

Manuel parked the car and opened the door. Lawrence quickly carried Molly out and walked into the hospital.

Soon, Molly was taken to the emergency room.

The doctors and nurses performed a full-body examination on her, and the nurse treated her injured leg.

She had a belt around her waist, and her injured leg was splinted.

Whether it was psychological or due to the treatment, she felt less pain, much better than before.

She lay on the hospital bed, staring blankly at the ceiling, not daring to move.

She was soon pushed out by the doctor, and Lawrence, waiting outside the emergency room, immediately walked over, carefully examining her before turning to ask about her condition.

The doctor, who looked about their age and knew Lawrence, answered truthfully, "Mr. Parker, sorry for the wait. This young lady is not seriously injured, just hurt her waist and calf bone. The leg bone has a slight fracture, and we've treated it. She needs to rest well and come for regular check-ups."

The doctor's words made Lawrence's dark expression disappear, returning to his polite demeanor.

He smiled slightly and said to the doctor, "Alright, we'll take good care of her. Thank you, doctor."

The doctor, flattered by Lawrence's praise, waved his hand, "Mr. Parker, you're too kind. Saving lives is my duty. It's an honor to see you today, and I didn't expect to receive your praise."

Clearly, the doctor appreciated Lawrence's compliment, probably liking him a lot.

Their mutual admiration made Molly frown slightly.

The doctor then looked at her, gently reminding, "Miss, you must rest well and avoid moving around to prevent worsening your injury."

Molly quickly nodded, "Alright, doctor, I understand. By the way, I'm Lawrence's sister. You can call me Miss Parker."
