Chapter 41: Levi P.O.V
I waited outside the room for her. It had been well over two hours and I could feel all of her buzzing nervous. Just feeling how many different emotions she has been going through over the last hours has me feeling drained. I let out a deep sigh, then I could feel an overwhelming urgency to take care of something, she almost felt anxious. I could feel the way her heart was beating furiously against her chest. What the hell did she think was so important that she needed to risk cardiac arrest for?
Mom came through the mindlink, 'She's asking about moving her siblings here.. What's the plan'mom asked, she was probabaly putting on her best smile and trying to make Rory feel comfortable whiel she asked me. Okay, now it makes sense. The overwhelming urgency to take care of something while she is in the room with my mom.
'Tell her that it's already in the works and they are just packing up some of he rart materials. The beta said he couldn't get their sister to leave Rory's art materials.' I smiled, thinking about our Beta trying to negotiate with a child over some art materials.
A few minutes later, the door opened and I heard heels clicking against the floor. I looked up from my phone, "Damn, rory." I whispered. She looked fucking breath-taking in her cute little dress.
'Lucas you might want to come check out rory.' I sent off through the link. My heart was jumping out of my chest while she took slow steps over to me. They felt slow, agonizing even but the second she was within reach I pulled her into my arms, "You look amazing, princess.' I cooed, breathing in her floral scent form the shampoo's and body soaps.
She giggled like I just said the funniest thing ever, my nose and lips dragging over her neck, "Levi!" She screamed, playfully. I smirked, "What's wrong my little mate, can't handle the kisses?" I smiled, watching how her cheeks heated up at the comment. She is so divine.She pushed herself away from me, "Actually, it tickles." She whispered.
I smiled, thats one I will be storing in my box of information for later, "Alright, princess. Come on. Let's go grab something to eat." I kissed her cheek and grabbed her hand. She smiled, "In the kitchen?" She asked an dmy eyebrows furrowed together. We are Alpha's, why did she think I would ever take her to just the ktichen after she dressed up looking like this.
"No, it's a suprise though and my brother's will be joining us there." I said, she nodded her head and looked down at the ground. Dammit, what the hell did I do now to upset my mate. I stopped us and pinned her to the wall with my body, "Princess." I whispered, stroking her cheek. She gulped and looked up at me, "Yes, Levi." She bit her lip. My thumb stroked her bottom lip and pulled it out from between her teeth, "What did I do to make you look at the ground?" I asked, curious.
"I-I've never had a meal in a kitchen that didn't end in violence and I've never been to resturant. I just thought maybe we could do food here first.." She trailed off looking at anything but me. I grabbed her face and made her look at me, her eyes were red and it looked like she was trying her best to hold back some tears, "Princess, we can always have dinner at home. I just want to treat you like the queen you are." I smiled, she took in a deep breathe.
"Levi, can you please take me to dinner here, at home. I want to know what it's like to have a meal where it's safe." she whispered, her voice squeaking form how many different emotions she was feeling. I let out a breathe, "How do you do it, Aurora?" I asked, eager to find out the trick to keeping her levels up when she constantly feels everything at once.
"What do you mean?" she asked, focusing on me, her hands rubbing up my arms liek I was sick or something.
"I have only been mated to you for a few hours but you feeling so many different emotions all at the same time and I'm exhausted from how much you take on at once. How do you deal with that many different emotions and not need a nap?" I let out a sigh. She smiled, "I ahve always been a very highly emotional person, I guess." She shrugged it off like I didn't just admit that has a much higher endurance than her Alpha mate.
"Alright, let's go ger dinner." I smiled, taking her hand in mine while we walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. I mindlinked both of my brother's and let them know the plan. I wanted to take her into the informal dining room, I think it'll make her feel more comfortable. The formal dining room even gave me anxiety sometimes so there is no way she would be avoiding any of her trigger's if we went there. The informal dining room has a large round table and we can all see each other and be close to each other while we eat. It's moms favorite place to eat with her 'kids'.
' Can I get the informal dining room set up for my mate and my brother's as soon as possible with some flowers.' I sent off to the servanst in charge of the kitchen. It's like she can read minds or something because the second I was back focusing on the way her perky ass moved in that dress she was opening her perfect mouth,"Levi?" she asked when she saw the servants walking in and out of the kitchen. Liam stood outside the dining room in a clean white button up and black slacks while Lucas dressed closer to what I wore with a navy blue shirt and black slacks.
