Shapes in the Water
“We’re headed in the right direction.” Rafe was explaining to Aariz, as Zara and Nasir moved closer to them.
He nodded, before turning his gaze to the men around them.
Many soaked to the bone.
“Throw down the anchor! Get yourselves dried and fed!” Aariz yelled to the men who all cheered at the order. Aariz turned to Zara and Nasir, “The same for the two of you, last thing I need is for anyone on my ship to get sick, especially the Queen’s sister.”
Zara grinned leaving Nasir and putting an arm around Rafe who scowled as he pointed to the map, showing Zara where they were. “You seem to be annoyed.” Nasir pointed out.
“Not annoyed, more resigned.” Aariz murmured as he let go of the wheel, as the anchor stopped the ship. “Not quite used to following a Dragon, I guess.”
“She did make our mission easier.” Nasir pointed out.
“Sure. After we got pulled into the waters of the Never world.”
“Which technically wasn’t her fault.”
“Yes, yes. Destiny and all that. I notice, our other member has not reappeared.” He pointed out.
“He did have his own quest, to complete.”
“I wonder if he did.” Aariz mused his eyes on the Dragon who moved deeper into the cove disappearing from sight.
“Did you ever imagine these kinds of creatures?” Nasir asked him.
“I guess we should be glad of these creatures rather than, let’s say a Kraken of all things.”
“Let’s go get changed before you summon one, with your wayward thoughts.” Nasir murmured with a laugh.
As they moved down the ship, the ship itself seemed to rock slightly as if something below moved towards them.

Zara was running a brush through her hair, as Nasir walked in their room, his hair slicked back, and water running down his bare chest. She smiled slightly at him before returning to brushing her hair. “Are you hungry,” she asked.
She felt the bed dip slightly as Nasir put his legs on either side of her an arm sliding around her waist as he pulled her against him, dropping a light kiss on her neck. Zara could feel his smile on her skin, as he spoke. “I think so, but not for food.” He threaded his hands through her hair, making her groan, at the mess he’d made of her freshly brushed hair, before his tongue was snaking into her mouth, licking, and plundering. Heat seemed to rise in her skin, as she pulled his tongue to hers sucking deeply making him moan, as he fell down against her on the bed, her legs suddenly at his hips as he ground down against her making her moan deeply.
He left her lips to kiss across her jaw, down her neck, opening the pearl buttons of her shirt, to the corset underneath that barely covered her breasts. He pressed kisses, on one then the other sucking her nipple through the corset that was slowly becoming see-through with his attention.
He made his way down her body undoing the ties of her pants, rolling them down, and licking his way down her most sensitive of areas, smiling as she arched her back. He braced his arms around her thighs as he feasted, moving harder amongst her moans, grinning as she tugged her hands through his hair, cursing at him as waves of pleasure turned her into a wanton creature. He was licking the last of her pleasure when the ship jolted suddenly to the left.
He raised his head, as she raised on her arms her eyes hazy. “Was that?” she asked.
“Something hitting us from below.” Nasir murmured darkly, as he kissed one of her thighs and pulled back up her pants tying her back up as she buttoned back her shirt. He jumped off the bed pulling a shirt over his head, as Zara threw on a leather vest with long pockets, before lacing up her weapons belt and running out the door as Nasir followed her down.
At the top of the ship the Captain stood, in disbelief as he looked up as a gigantic Dragon, four times the size of Seraphina, sat with the ship balanced on its stomach.
“Where. In. Gods. Name. Is. Our. Dragon.”
