Chapter 99 Walk Away Gracefully
Nora didn't say anything and walked toward her desk.
The Reed family had already chosen to tear off the mask. There was no way Nora could stay any longer. After all, although Olivia owned half of this company, Olivia wasn't here, and she had no backing.
"Nora!" Amelia called out, and Philip followed over too.
Nora didn't speak. She opened a document on her computer.
Seeing her dragging her feet, Bianca said viciously, "Nora, if you don't get out now, I'm calling security!"
She picked up her phone, wishing security would come up immediately and carry Nora out to humiliate her! Then she wouldn't dare come back!
"What's the rush?" Nora glanced at her and picked up a small remote control nearby, pressing a button.
A projection screen at the front of the office lowered.
This screen was normally used for meetings. Nora held the remote and operated it, though no one knew what she was doing.
"You're so shameless!" Bianca's patience ran out, and she moved to grab her, but Nora precisely inserted a USB drive.
A video appeared on the projection screen.
"Nora..." Terry appeared on screen with a big smile, trying to touch a clean little hand.
From the angle, the video was secretly filmed by the owner of that hand.
"What are you doing?" Nora's voice came from the video, followed by a glass of water being splashed in Terry's face. "You dirty old man!"
Terry's face in the video turned sinister. "Nora, don't be so ungrateful!"
The owner of the hand ignored him and left.
She had filmed this video last time and kept it in her files, just in case she needed it someday.
She didn't expect to actually use it today.
After the video was shown, the Reed family's faces looked terrible.
The female colleagues all gasped in surprise; some couldn't help making sounds. "So that's what really happened."
"It was Terry trying to harass Nora."
"And they're even relatives, but he still went after Nora."
Terry, this pervert, was always threatening female colleagues openly and secretly. Everyone had put up with him for a long time.
Today, someone finally dealt with him!
The female colleagues spoke up. These women had all been taken advantage of by Terry to some degree, and they were all disgusted by him!
Everyone on the Reed family's side looked furious.
Nora leaned against her desk, holding the small remote, and said, "Mrs. Reed, I have several more videos on my USB drive of Terry sexually harassing me at work. Each time he tried to take advantage of me, I avoided him. However, I recorded it all to prevent you from turning it around and saying I seduced Terry, so... do you want to see the rest of the videos?"
Eleanor was speechless.
She knew Terry's character best. Terry was indeed a bit lecherous.
Giselle, however, looked shocked.
She had been kept in the dark all along. So Terry had wanted to go after Nora!
Giselle turned to Bianca in shock. "Terry... was hitting on Olivia's sister at the company?"
Bianca bit her lip, unable to answer, and glared viciously at Nora.
"That's not called hitting on someone, Giselle. It's called workplace sexual harassment," Nora corrected her. "Terry was unilaterally trying to take advantage of me. If I reported this to the police, he could be detained."
Giselle's face looked terrible.
Terry had told her that Nora seduced him, and Giselle hadn't doubted it at all.
She didn't expect the truth to be like this!
Her dignity was completely gone!
She came to the company to make a scene, but it turned out Terry was the one harassing others!
Nora was going all out today.

Terry sexually harassed people at work, and someone filmed it and made it public. How could she face people in the future?
Giselle wouldn't dare come to the company anymore. She was too ashamed to face anyone. She covered her face and ran off.
"Giselle!" Eleanor anxiously called out.
Giselle didn't look back.
Eleanor glared at Nora angrily. "If Giselle and Terry have problems because of this, I won't let you off!"
"You should teach Terry better before saying these things!" Nora no longer bothered to put up with them. She closed her laptop.
She could leave Apex Technologies Corporation, but she wouldn't give her store to Apex Technologies Corporation.
Nora walked out of Apex Technologies Corporation with confidence.
Amelia and Philip followed her out.
"Nora, are you really leaving?" Amelia called after her.
"If I don't leave, will they let me stay?" Today, they said she seduced Terry; tomorrow, they'd say she seduced Willie. As long as she stayed one more day, this family wouldn't let her go. They'd come up with endless reasons.
Nora had made up her mind. She'd leave here first. If Olivia asked her to come back, she'd come back. If Olivia didn't need her, she'd work from home.
Philip sighed.
Actually, he also thought leaving was good. The relationships were too complicated, and the Reed family kept making things difficult for her.
Philip hadn't seen it clearly at first and didn't understand why Bianca always gave Nora trouble.
Today, he saw it all clearly. The Reed family wanted to drive Nora away.
Philip said gently, "Indeed, rather than staying here and suffering, it's better to find a more comfortable environment. Nora, if you need a company to work with, I can arrange for you to go to one of our family's branch companies. It's also nearby, called Brilliant Star."

Nora thought about it and said, "Let's talk about it later. I'll work from home first. If I need to, I'll take my goods to Brilliant Star to ship. Does that work for you?"
She didn't refuse completely.
Because international shipping required a certain number of packages before they'd pick up. When she had fewer packages, she'd need to drop them off at someone else's company to ship; otherwise, she'd have to take them to the international shipping station herself.
"Okay, contact me whenever you need." Philip supported her leaving.
If Nora left, Philip would also be leaving.
He came here for Nora in the first place. If she left, there was no need for him to continue staying.
Amelia was the most reluctant. She looked at Nora with moist eyes. "Nora, I really don't want you to go."
If Nora left, she'd be all alone.
"Don't cry." Nora held her hand. "If I start my own business later, I'll recruit you. For now, stay at Apex Technologies Corporation and keep a low profile. Let me know if there's any news right away. But if Olivia asks me to come back, I'll still come."
Now the Reed family wanted to swallow up Olivia's power and take over all of Apex Technologies Corporation. Nora was quite worried for Olivia, but Olivia was pregnant and being held back. There was nothing they could do about it.
"Okay!" Amelia agreed. "I'll wait for you to recruit me."
"Take good care of yourself." Nora smiled. "You guys go back to work. I'm going downstairs to find someone to help me move my things."
