Chapter 27
"How are you?" was Rose's first question the moment Samantha sat down in front of her.
The two were in their favorite coffee shop. It'd been two months since Samantha and Alfred broke up, and since then, a few things had changed. She hadn't seen Alfred at all after their breakup. Her parents had asked her several times why they'd broken up, but she'd told them that she wanted to keep it to herself and didn't want to talk about it anymore. And so her parents stopped asking.
She'd cried for almost a week over what'd happened. She kept hearing Alfred's words from the day they broke up. But she wouldn't let her conscience affect her.
So she took one more night to shed all her tears. She cried over and over again until she felt like she had no tears left. And after that, she decided to move on, to keep living her life. So here she was, ready to start anew.
"I'm perfectly fine," she told Rose, smiling.
"I can see that. Looks like taking a vacation helped you," Rose said.
Samantha nodded, still smiling. "It did."
Once she'd decided to move on, she immediately asked her parents for permission to take a vacation to visit her uncle.
She didn't have a hard time convincing them, as her parents immediately agreed. Maybe they'd thought that she needed some time to heal and move on after her breakup with Alfred. And just yesterday, she'd returned home from her uncle's house.
"So, what are your plans now?" Rose asked as she sipped the cup of coffee she'd ordered. "If you want to come back to work at my bar, our door is still wide open for you," Rose continued, lowering her coffee cup.
"I appreciate the offer, but I have to decline. I've already decided to pursue becoming a teacher. I'm studying for the Licensure Exam for Teachers next week," Samantha replied.
A wide smile flashed across Rose's lips. "Really?"
Samantha smiled and nodded in response.
"That's good to hear! I thought you didn't want to be a teacher anymore," Rose said.
"I thought that too. But when I was on vacation, I realized a lot." Samantha looked down at her cup of coffee. "I realized that my life isn't going anywhere. I keep starting projects I think I'll like but end up giving up because I think I'll fail. I've always been like this. Always giving up without putting up a fight."
It had been two years since she'd graduated with her education degree. Ever since she was a child, she'd dreamed of becoming a teacher. It was the reason she'd studied education in college. And when she graduated, she immediately took the Licensure Exam for Teachers. But she failed. She'd been discouraged by the results, which was why she'd decided not to pursue teaching anymore. She didn't think she could pass. But staying at her uncle's had made her realize a lot of things. And one of those things was how she'd just been running around in circles—and how weak-minded she was.
Weak-minded. It described her perfectly. And it wasn't just her mind. She was also weak physically and emotionally. That was why her life had been in turmoil these past few months, her own weakness and fragility.
"I'm glad," was Rose's response, and she smiled before sipping her coffee again.
When she'd finished her coffee, Rose stared intently at her again, and Samantha instantly knew where their conversation was heading. "When you said that you'd realized a lot of things, does that include how you feel?" Rose's question was full of seriousness.
Samantha looked back at her friend again.
"What? Don't tell me you haven't sorted out your feelings yet?" Rose raised an eyebrow.
Samantha smiled at Rose. "I'm still not sure about that. But there is one thing that I know I should do."
Rose's forehead furrowed. "And what's that?"
But instead of answering her friend, Samantha just looked back out the window. Rose asked again and again, but not once did Samantha answer. She just kept staring out the window until a vision of the man she'd been thinking of popped into her mind.
She wondered how he was now. Was he still looking for her? Was he still waiting for her?

"That's enough, Damon. You've already had too much to drink," Daniel said as he tried to retrieve the glass of wine Damon was holding. But before Daniel could touch the glass, Damon pulled it away.
"Shut up. Why won't you just leave me alone?" Damon slurred.
"Like I can do that. If I leave, you'll drink until you can't walk anymore." Daniel sighed. "Come on, Damon, let's just go home. You've been acting like this for months now. Aren't you tired of stumbling home, barely able to walk, and waking up with a headache?"
But instead of listening, Damon acted as if he couldn't hear anything. He knocked over his glass of wine, then immediately ordered another one.
Daniel tried to stop Damon, but his older brother wouldn't budge. Daniel huffed in annoyance at what his older brother was doing.
It'd been two months since Damon stopped pursing and obsessing over Samantha. And since then, he'd gotten drunk almost every night.
Daniel didn't know what had happened between the two of them. He'd actually been surprised when his brother finally stopped following her around.
Daniel knew his brother very well. He knew only something big could get him to stop pursuing Samantha. His brother had always been like this. When something or someone got his attention, he made sure he got that thing or person. Damon always got what he wanted. That was just how he was.
Which was why Daniel had been so surprised when, one day, his stubborn brother suddenly stopped chasing after Samantha.
Daniel wondered what Samantha had done or said to make his brother stop. Because Damon realizing that what he was doing was wrong was out of the question. That would be impossible.
"Ah, toilet," said Damon, and he suddenly stood up, causing Daniel to quickly move to help his brother. But Damon waved his hand, not letting Daniel touch him.
"I can walk on my own," Damon said, still slurring.
"Don't be stubborn. Do you have any idea how bad you look right now? You look like you might trip with even the slightest movement," Daniel replied, trying to grab Damon's arms to help him balance, but again, Damon did not let him.
Damon looked at him, and even though he was drunk, he still managed to give him a deadly look. "I said, I can walk on my own," Damon repeated before staggering towards the bathroom.
Daniel's gaze followed his staggering brother. He breathed a sigh of relief when Damon reached the door without tripping.
He sat down again and sighed. He no longer knew what he should do with his brother. Samantha had become like a drug to him. And now that he'd lost her, he was going through withdrawal.
"God, Samantha, I wish you were here to bring my brother back to his senses," Daniel whispered to himself.
"Wish granted!" a woman's voice said, startling Daniel.
He quickly looked up at the source of the voice. His eyes widened and his mouth fell open when he saw the woman standing there.
"Samantha."
"Hi, Daniel. Long time, no see," Samantha replied with a huge grin on her face.
***
The heat of the sun woke Damon up. His forehead furrowed as he slowly opened his eyes, but he quickly closed them again as they were blinded by sunlight.
He tried to cover his face with his hands, but something was holding them down. He quickly opened his eyes again, forgetting that he hadn't adjusted to the sunlight yet and ignoring his aching head. His eyes widened in shock when he saw that his right hand was tied to the headboard of the bed. He looked at his left hand only to find it was tied to the headboard as well. As for his body, it was covered by a comforter.
"What the fuck is going on?" he asked himself.
He tried to move his hands and feet, and realized that only his hands were tied. He could still move his feet freely. But what was even more shocking was he was completely naked under the sheets!
The fuck!?
His eyes roamed around. He was inside a room. A room that was very familiar. And a few minutes later, he realized that he was in his own room!
Who the hell did this to me? Was it Daniel? he thought.
But he quickly dismissed that idea.
He knew his brother wouldn't have pulled a prank like this on him.
"Then who? Who's the fucker that did this to me?" he asked himself again, but this time, out loud.
"I'm that fucker."
Damon quickly searched for the source of the voice, and his eyes got even bigger when he saw the last woman he ever expected to see again.
Samantha.
She was leaning against the wall near the open door of his bedroom. She crossed her arms over her chest and stared at him.
His mouth hung open. He couldn't speak. He just kept staring at Samantha, not even blinking.
"What? Cat got your tongue?" she said, still staring at him.
"W-what are you doing here? H-how…" Damon asked after a couple of minutes of just staring at the woman he hadn't seen in two months, yet who had never left his mind.
"If only you could see your face right now. I didn't think you were even capable of this much emotion," Samantha said as she slowly closed the door, locked it, and began walking towards him. Only when she was by his side did she stop. "You look like shit," she said, raising an eyebrow.
Damon still couldn't speak. He just continued to stare at Samantha.
He couldn't believe it, but he knew he wasn't dreaming. He knew that what he was seeing was real. He knew that the Samantha in front of him was not just a product of his imagination.
She was real.
What he didn't know was why she was in front of him. What did she want from him? Did she come to get revenge?
"Seems like there are a lot of thoughts running through your mind. And honestly, I don't like that, so I think I'll have to start now, though I originally planned to do this later tonight," Samantha said, making him frown.
"What are you talking about? And wait, you never answered my question. What are you doing here? What is this? Why did you tie me up?" he asked a series of questions when he'd finally gotten over his shock at what was happening.
But instead of giving him answers, Samantha just grinned at him before doing something that surprised him even more.
She took a cellphone from the pocket of her jeans and stepped closer to him. Before he could say anything, she suddenly removed the blanket that covered him, revealing his naked body.
"What the hell, Samantha?" Damon yelled in shock.
But she still didn't say anything. Instead, she fiddled with her cellphone and, after a couple of seconds, pointed the camera at Damon's naked body.
His eyes widened. "Samantha—"
"You're not even hard, yet you're already so big," she said as she bent down to position his penis so the camera could focus on it. "I still can't believe I had this inside me," she continued while staring at his dick.
Damon no longer knew what to do or how to feel.
He was completely naked, and Samantha was holding his dick, which was now starting to perk up. Her other hand was holding her cellphone, which was still pointed at his cock. If he was right, she was recording him and his naked body, which was absolutely nuts!
As he'd guessed, she'd come for revenge.
"Samantha, I know you're mad at me, but please, let's talk this over. Doing this to me won't solve anything—"
"Bold of you to say that after everything you've done to me," Samantha said, not letting him finish. "But, I'm not mad at you." She then looked into his eyes and, with seriousness in her voice, said, "I'm doing this for another reason."
His forehead furrowed. He wanted to ask Samantha what she meant, but before he could open his mouth, her hand on his manhood started to move, making him gasp in shock.
"Sam—"
"Hush, Damon. I won't entertain any questions. Just stay still and let me pleasure you," she said, accelerating the movements of her hand.
Damon's breathing quickened. He could feel the resurection of his manhood and the tightening of Samantha's grip around him, as if she were clenching her palm.
"Fuck!" Damon cried uncontrollably as he looked at the ceiling.
He wanted to protest, but seeing Samantha again, feeling her palm on his skin, was making him lose his mind. The woman he'd been thinking about for two months, the woman he'd been dreaming about fucking, the woman he'd been picturing as he masturbated was now in front of him, stroking him, making it impossible for him to resist.
Ah, fuck it! I've been dying to see her and touch her, so why am I hesitating now? To hell with revenge and sanity, I want Samantha to make me cum!
"Now you're getting into it," Samantha said with a hint of satisfaction in her voice when she noticed that Damon was starting to move his hips.
"Fuck! Oh, fuck! Shit! Samantha!" Damon repeatedly cried out as his hips met every stroke of her palm.
Samantha grinned down at him. "What a sight to behold. I'm pretty sure this will be a masterpiece," she said as she shifted the camera's focus from Damon's face to his body and then to his cock, which is now about to burst.
Damon continued groaning. He could feel sweat running down his forehead to his neck. "Almost there. I'm so close, Samantha. I'm gonna cum!" he announced, and with just a few more strokes of Samantha's palm, he finally found his release, spurting cum all over her hand.
Still panting, he dropped his sweaty body back on the bed.
Ah, fuck! That was fucking insane! he thought.
He could still feel sweat dripping from his forehead. He wanted to wipe it away with his hand, but he couldn't because he was still tied up. He looked at Samantha, about to ask her to let him go, but he was shocked into silence by what she was doing.
Samantha was sucking her fingers, coated with his cum, one by one.
He had never seen Samantha like this.
She had always been sexy, but he had never seen her act this bold, and fuck, it was hot. The heat that had been slowly dissipating was now sparking back to life as he watched her.
He was still staring at her, so when she suddenly met his gaze, he was a little surprised.
She lowered the hand that had been holding his manhood, then raised her cellphone, as if to show him something. When she played the video on it, he gasped in shock.
He'd already known that she was recording him, but he still couldn't help but be shocked and surprised by what he was seeing.
He silently cursed.
Samantha grinned. "As I predicted, this turned out to be a masterpiece."
"Samantha."
"I thought this was going to be difficult, but I was wrong. You gave in so easily, Damon." Samantha lowered the cell phone. Its light gilded her face as she watched the video again, still grinning. "Now, what should I do with this?"
"Sam—"
"Oh! I know." She put the cellphone down, laying it on the bed, then moved to sit right next to him. She acted like she'd just thought of something and looked directly at him. The grin never left her face. "Why don't we upload this to a porn site? I'm sure it'll be a big hit considering you're the star. Oh, but I wonder how your friends, business partners, and the general public will react once they see it. Will they be happy? Disappointed? What will happen to the reputation you've been working so hard to maintain? This video will tarnish it, right? And then what will happen to your company? I am pretty sure this will negatively affect it as well. You don't want that to happen, right?"
Samantha was saying a lot of things, but he was sure of only one: that she was planning to get revenge for what he'd done to her.
She'd told him that she wasn't mad at him, but her actions contradicted that statement.
"Samantha, please, let's talk this over. I know I did horrible things to you, but please, hear me out. Nothing good will come from this," he said, staring into her eyes.
"I already told you, I don't hold any grudges. I was mad at you for some time, even hated you, but it's fine now. I'm doing this for another reason."
Damon frowned. "If we're on the same page, then why are you—"
"Take responsibility," Samantha cut him off.
His forehead furrowed even more at what she'd said. He did not understand.
"Take responsibility for what you did to me," she repeated before looking down and continuing, "You ruined my almost perfect life. You took me to an island, fucked me every day, made me lose my mind, made me succumb to my lust, made me doubt my feelings for Alfred, and ruined my relationship with him. You caused me a lot of trouble, to the point I wished you'd disappear forever. I thought that cutting you out of my life would be a good thing, but I was wrong." She lifted her face and looked into his eyes. All Damon could see there was pure honesty and sincerity. "Because when you stopped chasing me, when I thought I would never see you again, I realized something." She gently stroked his cheek, a small smile on her lips. "I realized that in such a short period of time, you'd become a big part of me. I realized that everything you'd said and told me was true. And I realized that I could no longer go a day and night without thinking of you. You made a mess of my mind. Heck, I can't even sleep without picturing your face."
Speechless was an understatement for what Damon was feeling after hearing everything Samantha said. It was like he was frozen. His mind couldn't process what he'd just heard.
"I…I don't understand…" he said, staring at Samantha, whose eyes never left his. "D-didn't you say that you would never choose me?"
Samantha removed her hand from his cheek, then looked down. "Yes, but I was wrong." She met his gaze again with a light smile on her lips. "You see, after I broke up with Alfred, I decided to take a vacation and visit my uncle so that I could clear my mind and sort out my feelings. And while staying with him, I realized a lot of things, Damon. I realized how horrible I've been, not just to Alfred, but also to you. I realized how much of a hypocrite I was, pretending to be a victim when in fact, I liked everything that was happening between us. I liked the things you were doing to me, but I kept on denying it, and instead, I blamed you for all the chaos in my life. But I won't apologize for that. I mean, you still made a mess of my life. But the mess you made is a mess that I think I quite like. So…what I'm trying to say is…" Samantha paused to take a few deep breaths, and when she was done, she started speaking again in the sincerest voice Damon had ever heard her use. "I want you to take responsibility for messing up my life. Take responsibility for it and be mine. Be my lover, Damon."
Damon was still not able to say anything. He just kept on staring at Samantha, her last two sentences repeating over and over in his mind.
Take responsibility for it and be mine. Be my lover, Damon.
Take responsibility for it and be mine. Be my lover, Damon.
Take responsibility for it and be mine. Be my lover, Damon.
Did I hear that right? Did Samantha really just ask me to be her lover? he silently asked himself.
"I thought you might find it hard to believe me," Samantha said as if she'd read his mind. "I can't blame you for that. After all, I've pushed you away so many times. And I want to be honest with you, Damon. This feeling that I'm feeling right now, I'm still not sure if it's love. But it's more than enough for me to want you by my side. Because just like you said, I want you just as much as you want me. If you still can't believe me right now, that's fine. I understand. But it doesn't mean that I'll stop. Because I'll wait for you, Damon. I'll wait until you believe me. I'll wait until—"
"Take this off," Damon cut in, slightly surprising her.
"Huh?"
"I want you to take this off." Damon then gestured at his right hand with his chin. "Free me."
Samantha's lips parted. She looked like she couldn't believe what he'd said. But she still did what he'd told her to do.
She untied him, and when she was finished, she sat down next to him again. She was about to speak when he suddenly pulled her on top of him. Before she could utter another word, he rolled over until he was lying on top of her.
Shock was written all over Samantha's face.
"Dam—" She was about to call his name when he suddenly claimed her lips, making her gasp.
Her lips remained open, and Damon seized the opportunity to slip his tongue inside Samantha's mouth. He searched for her tongue, and when he found it, he urged hers to play with his.
It only took a second for Samantha to do what he wanted.
They were now kissing roughly and urgently, as if they couldn't get enough of each other. And when their lips parted, they both gasped for air.
"Damon…" Samantha said his name, staring at him with sly eyes.
He gently stroked her cheek. "Everything you said, was all of it true? You aren't joking? You really want me to be your lover?"
A sweet smile flashed across Samantha's lips, and she touched the hand caressing her cheek. "Yes," she answered.
"Are you sure? You might regret it," he said.
"I'm a hundred and one percent sure, Damon. I want you to be mine."
A few seconds passed before Damon could speak again.
"What if I say no?" he asked with a smile.
"Well, that's when your video will become very handy," she replied, smiling back at him.
Damon raised an eyebrow. "Are you planning to blackmail me with that video if I ever deny you?"
But instead of answering him, Samantha just grinned, making him shake his head.
"Damn, woman. You really are something," he said, laughing.
"I learned it from you," she mischievously answered as she laughed along with him.
He shook his head again before kissing the bridge of her nose. Then he looked at her, their eyes meeting.
"Well, you won't be needing that video. Do you think I could ever say no to you? Samantha, you have no idea what I've been through these past few months. I thought I would never see you again, and it drove me mad."
"But you didn't chase after me," she pouted, making Damon chuckle.
"That's because I was still sorting out my feelings."
"Huh?"
Damon pressed their foreheads together. "You see, just like you, I wasn't quite sure about what I felt for you. I wanted you—there was no question about that—but I was still not sure if I could call it love. And I didn't want to chase you with only half-baked feelings. But when the woman I've been dreaming of every night, who's been driving me crazy, asks me to be her lover, I just can't say no."
"Damon…"
"Neither of us is sure of our feelings for each other yet. So, how about we sort them out together? What do you say to that?" Damon asked, smiling.
A wide smile flashed across Samantha's lips, and she wrapped her arms around Damon's neck.
"That sounds great."
Damon's smile widened even more at Samantha's answer.
"Oh, by the way, how did you manage to get into my room?" he asked her after a second.
"You have your brother to thank for that."
"Huh?"
"I'll tell you the details later, but right now, I want all of your attention on me. You see, these past two months, I've been spending my nights alone in my room, pleasuring myself while thinking of you, and now, I just want to feel you inside me again. My pussy has been missing her playmate, you know?" Samantha said with a seductive look to match her seductive voice.
Damon suddenly grinned. "Woman, you never fail to amuse and excite me," he said before claiming her lips.
