Chapter 11 Final!

Chapter 11 Final!
Lucian

My wolf moved endlessly as I snuggled her even closer to myself, with my arms wrapped around her protectively.

“She's so beautiful,” Demon, my wolf, grunted.

“I know,” I responded and finally looked up at Ben. “Drive.”

Ben nodded once and beckoned the driver over. He took his place back in the passenger seat.

Soon, we were driving towards the pack house.

Aria was difficult and she might in fact be planning another escape. If she doesn't know her way, she will die of foolish thoughts. Though, my initial thought was for her to stay at the mansion until she's ready to accept me.

Not that I would give her the freedom to choose anyway. I don't have the luxury of time for that.

She stirred suddenly, murmuring something inaudible in her sleep and I stared at her lips for a moment.

Having her like this was doing a lot to my body but I would wait. I would wait until she succumbed to what her body wanted.

I've waited for three years to have her. What are more days to lose? Cos I'm certain she would eventually not be able to resist my charm.

The car soon pulled into the pack house. Serene hurried out of the room and towards me.

“Lucian!” She called, excitedly. “You came the other time and you didn't_” she stopped suddenly, her gaze lingering on Aria, whose head was still on my shoulder.

I gently placed her head against the chair, and got out.

“Lucian, who is she?”

“Aria,” I revealed, as I walked past her, rounding the car to get to the other side. Then, I opened the door and scooped my princess in my arms. “My mate,” I added quickly.

“Your what! Wait! Are the rumours true?”

I scoffed and looked at her. “What rumour?”

“That's your mate is human. You are mating with a fucking human being? I thought you hated them!”

“I still do. I just can't help but love this cute one,” I joked and turned towards the front door.

I felt Selene gaze on me for a moment as I walked inside.

Aria stirred in my arms and I looked down at her. Watching her sleep soundly made something inside me switch. Who would have thought that a mere human would be my mate, after so much hatred I have for their offspring?

I know she wouldn't be awake until probably another hour later. And it was the best time to keep everything in check before she wakes.

“Brother,” Selene called behind me.

“Calm down, Sel. Wait for me. I will be back,” I informed her, and she stayed back.

I moved through the hallway and towards the room I asked them to prepare for Aria in advance.

It was just like her room at my mansion. It has everything she ever wanted. I didn't miss any details from all that Susan told me.

I gently placed her on the soft bed and pulled the duvet over her body. I watched her for a moment, resisting the urge to take over her lips again since I'd promised her I wouldn't kiss her until she begged for it.

I'm a man of my word and I wouldn't do it even in her unconscious state.

With the last ounce of my strength, I turned away and stepped out before I changed my mind.

Selene was waiting for me at the door, her expression somewhat angry.

“Bringing humans into this pack house is catastrophic.”

“There's nothing catastrophic here, Sel. She's mine and my future Luna. This is her place, regardless of her status which I’m not entirely concerned about,” I muttered and walked past her to the parlour.

She followed me.

“But she will be the only human here. It's really not advisable.”

“And you are forgetting something here. She's my mate,” I reminded.

“You can get anyone you want, Lucian and it definitely doesn't have to be Aria. There are a lot of werewolves dying to be yours. Choose one and get mated to her.”

Ignoring her, I turned to Ben. “Tell all the staff to behave themselves. Aria is mine and their Luna but she shouldn't be addressed as that. And they should accord her the respect they give me.”

Ben bowed slightly and stepped out.

“Brother, this is a bad choice. There's still time to send her back to whichever hole she came from.”

I turned to look at her. “She’s not going anywhere, Sel. And we are done with this discussion!” I muttered in a voice that left no room for more debates.

I wasn't the only one who hated the human race, actually. Over half of the werewolf race does. This was why Aria and her mother were sent out because Aria turned out to be a human.

But I don't care because human or not, werewolves or not, the fact that she's my mate, she will be mine.

The elders thought I just knew about Aria. They didn't know I've known her for three years. I favoured her stepfather because of her, because I knew he wouldn't be able to pay, and I would demand what's mine.

“Alpha,” Ben called suddenly, pulling me out of my thoughts.

I looked up at him and raised a brow.

“All done.”

“Good, now get me some profiles of nice female humans.”

“What?”

“I need to give Aria a companion since she's the only human here. Find me five, then I will select. They don't need to have degrees. In fact, I don't want the smart ones. I don't want one that would give Aria ideas. I just need someone she would be free to talk to.”

“But that will be bringing another human into the pack house,” Ben protested.

I looked up at him from where I sat, my eyes already glowing.

He swallowed harder, succumbing to the fear I was dishing out. “Alright Alpha,” he bowed and walked out eventually.
