Chapter 27
The four of us become quiet after what Lux said. I grasp my shirt, hating myself for feeling guilty now.
“Let’s go to my house for now,” Nathan said
“Its dangerous for us to walk to your house and Aumio is far from here. We might meet an enemy in our way and your arm is swelling,” Jerome said.
He’s right and it's dangerous for us to walk and the sun is already setting down it's hard for us to walk in the dark.
“We don’t have any option. If we don’t run away from here, the four of us might die,”
“Nathan is right we don’t have any choices but ran away from here” Lux said and he pick a four leaves from the tree he drop it and it turn into a hooded cloak.
“Wear this, ”
He gave Nathan and Jerome the two hooded cloak and he walks towards me and he put it on me. I gasp when he put the hood on me and after that he turned his back on me.
“Let’s go,”
All of us walked. I glance at Nathan that is on my left side and he’s holding his arm that is bitten by the snake when he blocks it. I walk to him and hold his arm.
“Wait,”
I tore the hem of my shirt and wrapped fabric to his swelling arm.
“Thanks” he said, and I smiled
We continue to walk. We had to go through Werizgo before we reached the town of Aumio. When we are on the wall that is heading to Werizgo, Lux taps some parts of the wall just like what Laura did when we go to buy our dress for the ball last month.
The passageway opens and we walk inside. The passageway wall is covered with drawings I didn’t notice it before when Laura and I go here. You will see people wearing medieval clothes as we exit the passageway there are lanterns that are hung by a thread all over the place.
A lady walk towards me and show me her goods.
“Do you want some flowers, Miss?” she ask
She handed me a rose and I smell it. I gasp when Lux suddenly holds my hand.
“Sorry, but we are in hurry,” Lux said to the lady
I return the roses to her “I’m sorry but the rose smells good” I said and after that Lux pull me
“Don’t get distracted,” he said
“I know,”
I remember that today is the festival I remember that we planned to go here after the game ended and have fun. I wish this is all a dream. I stop and look at the shop where they sell some candies.
I was pushed back when I was hit by two children chasing each other.
“Sorry” the girl said and the boy she was chasing come back to her.
“I’m sorry” the boy said and I just smile on how they cute saying those words
“It’s okay the both of you should go to your parents its dangerous to walk alone in this place that is crowded,” I said and the both of them nodded as response.
“Let’s go Miya” the boy said, and the both of them wave goodbye and walk away
“Let’s go Krystal we need to go to Aumio,” I look at my side and saw Lux his hood covering half of his face “Cover your face and don’t let your guard off,” he added
I fix my hood and we walked again. We have left Werizgo and we have to walk again to the forest between Werizgo and Aumio.
“How far is your house from the town?” Lux ask Nathan.
“I don’t know but when we arrive to the town, we just need to turn into the left and if we walk a little further, you will see a house on the top of the hill,” Nathan replied
Time passed and we’re already in the town of Aumio we go to the left and we see a big house on the top of the hill. We walk towards Nathan’s house and Nathan knocks on the door. The door open and a guy opens the door.
“Rin!”
“Welcome home, Nathan,”
