Both Lily and Chris stared at Cindy in shock while the judge said to the officers present, "Take her into custody."

Lily screamed and tried to struggle when the officers came to grab her while Chris said, "Calm down, Lily and stop struggling, I will get you out in no time."

Lily covered her face in shame as she was being led out of the courtroom while the reporters frantically took pictures and videos of her.

Within a twinkling of an eye, the news of how Lily willingly made a sex tape with a strange guy and uploaded it on social media just to force Jack into marrying her went viral. Many people were left in shock that a girl who appeared to be so polished and classy could stoop to such a level.

All those who had called Jack vile names began to take back their words and ask for forgiveness from him and the artists in his Agency.

Chris got Lily out on bail a few hours later and had to fetch her at the station with bodyguards to stop the citizens who were hell-bent on clamoring around them.

As they came out of the courtroom, Jack and Cindy hugged each other lovingly while Spencer said, "Congratulations, Cindy on winning your first case, and thank you for proving Jack's innocence. I did not doubt you even for a second."

Cindy smiled and thanked Spencer for his kind words while Grant just kept staring at her. He could not stop thinking about all the awful things he had said to and about Cindy.

Contrary to his belief that Cindy was a social climber, he realized that she was a respectable young lady who was smart and did not curry favor with people around her. She was an asset and if she could give him grandchildren that were just like her, he would be content.

When Jack and Cindy were about to enter Jack's car, Grant said, "Hold on Jack, where are you going right now?"

"I am going to Cindy's house," Jack replied.

Grant hesitated a little before asking, "Can I come as well?"

Three pairs of eyes stared at him in surprise. Cindy had felt that after winning against Lily, Grant would no longer oppose her relationship with Jack but what she didn't expect was that he would want to visit her.

She felt happier and smiled at him, "Of course, you are welcome in my house anytime, Mr. Grant."

As he stared at Cindy's smiling face, Grant realized that she was very beautiful. He had not really observed her until today and it finally made so much sense to him that two of his sons were always on her side.

They all drove to Cindy's house and on the way, Cindy began to feel apprehensive. She was someone who didn't care much for the opinion of others especially since they didn't pay her bills but she found herself feeling worried that Mr. Grant might be displeased after seeing her place.

She just wanted to be with Jack in peace without any opposition. When Jack saw the look on her face, he smiled and assured her, "Don't worry my love, my dad is all bark and no bite.

Besides, I can tell that he is now fond of you otherwise, he would never step foot into your house."

Cindy smiled appreciatively at Jack, "Thanks, I feel better after hearing that."

Cindy had come up with all the different food and drinks she was going to place before Grant to welcome him.

However, after entering her house, Grant did not even sit down. He said, "My dear Cindy, I just wanted to know where you live today so, I won't be staying for long.

I am sorry for the way I've treated you so far. Thank you for restoring Jack's reputation today, thank you for being by his side and making a decent man out of him. And lastly welcome to the family."

As he welcomed Cindy into the family, Grant opened his arms and invited Cindy for a hug. She smiled and hugged him. She had never thought that a moment like this would ever be possible so she felt quite emotional and her eyes became misty.

After saying goodbye to Spencer and Grant, Cindy wiped the tears from her eyes but Jack hugged her from behind and said, "Cry if you want my love, I'm sure it will make you feel better."

Cindy turned, stared at him for a while, and began to laugh. "That's more like it" Jack breathed.

"Thank you so much for today, you were quite amazing. As I watched you in court today, defend me and put team Lily in their place, I felt so proud and kept telling myself, "you really chose well Jack."

Cindy threw her head back and guffawed her delight, "My love for you prompted me to do all that Jack. I just wanted to give you the justice you deserve."

"But you did much more than that," Jack replied. "You proved that you are a strong, intelligent young woman and I really think you should consider being a full-time attorney, it suits you so well."

"I'll think about it," Cindy replied and turned to walk away. She wanted to enter the kitchen and get lunch ready but Jack pulled her back, "My sweet Cindy, would you like a massage?"

Cindy thought for a while and chucked, "It's too tempting to refuse but my dear masseur, how will you manage without your tools?"

"Don't worry about that," Jack replied. "I already have everything I need," Cindy recalled how much she had enjoyed the last massage Jack gave her and became excited. However, her phone rang just as Jack led her into the room.

She saw that the caller was Chris Belov and laughed.
"He must be feeling so ashamed and angry at the same time" she said to Jack.
