Chris Belov quickly walked out of the court in the full glare of everyone while pretending to take a phone call.

Cindy apologized to the judge and played the CD. Both Lily's and Jack's voices could be heard and it was very obvious that Lily was trying to get Jack to be hers. She kept blaming Cindy even when Jack had supposedly assaulted her.

Lily wished there was a way for her to disappear. At this point, she felt it was much better for the ground to open up and swallow her, at least she would no longer be in the courtroom, under the accusing stare of almost everyone in court

Her brother had abandoned her to her fate and her lawyer was staring at her with so much anger in his eyes. The video completely captured her face at the station and soon, it got to the part where she said,

"Marry me and you won't have to see the insides of a courtroom. I will withdraw the case and tell the public that it was a love affair between an engaged couple and that I was only acting the part of a victim for our satisfaction."

Jack turned and stared at Lily with a smug smile on his face and when their eyes met, she turned her face away instantly. She suddenly developed a hatred for him and regretted ever trying to make him hers.

What had she ever seen in him? She was very beautiful even though she had gone under the knife and a lot of men were sexually attracted to her but now, her reputation was destroyed. People would point hands at her and she would have to hide her face in shame.

Her eyes stung with tears and soon they began to fall freely down her face but Cindy wasn't done with her yet. When the video ended, Cindy said, "Your honor, I earlier asked Miss. Belov a few questions but she lied that she didn't take a sip of alcohol on that day, she lied that she never asked Mr. Grant for help and when I asked her if she has ever asked Mr. Grant to marry her, what was her reply?

'No, I would never do such a thing to a disgusting man like him.'

Your honor, it is now clear before this court, who the disgusting person really is. As a woman, I already feel ashamed that a woman like me is such a pathological liar who engages in shameless frivolities just to fulfill her lewd and debased desires.

Miss. Belov hasn't uttered one word of truth today as everything that comes out of her mouth is filled with nothing but lies.

She has proven beyond any doubt that she should not be trusted in the slightest. If she can go ahead to create and share her sex video, then it's pretty obvious how sinister and manipulative she is."

"Objection your honor," Lily's lawyer cut in. "The counsel is deliberately insulting and demeaning the character of my client."

"Your honor," Cindy retorted.
"Mr. Grant's character has been unnecessarily maligned. I am merely showing this honorable court who the real monster is."

"Objection overruled," the judge replied. "Go ahead, defense counsel."

Cindy smiled as she knew that the judge was already convinced by her arguments. "Thank you, your honor. In conclusion, I'm going to say that my client Mr. Grant is a principled and law-abiding citizen.

He is a decent man and has never at any point in time indicated an interest in having an amorous relationship with Miss. Belov.

On the contrary, like all the evidence presented before this honorable court shows, Miss. Belov has been the one shamelessly chasing my client and he turned her down without second thoughts. Then she set him up to force him to marry her.

My client is an innocent man and I humbly request that the preposterous charges against him are dropped and he is allowed to live his life freely."

Lily at this point had almost run out of tears. She covered her face in shame and kept crying. Cindy had dealt her a heavy blow and it was something she would never be able to forget.

Chris finally came back into the court. He had initially planned to leave the court without coming back but he knew that after what Cindy did, if he left just like that, it would be all over the news and people would make more fun of him and his sister Lily.

His reputation had been tarnished and it was all Lily's fault. If she had listened to him and given up the idea of going after Jack, they wouldn't be where they were. It was his fault for indulging her in the first place.

He noticed that she was seriously crying and couldn't stop himself from going to sit beside her. She was his little sister afterall and despite his anger, he couldn't bear to watch her crying so profusely. Cindy had completely ruined her reputation before everyone present, including the judge. He never knew that Cindy was so evil.

He had initially been happy when some reporters were allowed by the judge into the court, little did he know that the tables were going to be turned on them by Cindy.

Lily's attorney was asked if wanted to say anything but he said no. He knew that after all the evidence Cindy had presented, nothing he said would make any difference.

He had asked Lily before the trial if there was any way Cindy could have substantial evidence against them, Lily had confidently told him no and he had been foolish enough to believe her. He would never make the same mistake again.

The judge finally said, "Having listened to and reviewed all the evidence presented before this honorable court, I hereby decree that the charges against Mr. Grant be dropped and that the case is dismissed."

Cindy got up when the judge had finished speaking, "Thank you very much, your honor. My client Mr. Jack Grant will like to countersue Miss. Lily Belov for defamation of character, forceful ingestion of harmful substances, and physical assault."
