Chapter 34 Me Vs. Lucy Part 2

Chapter 34 Me Vs. Lucy Part 2
Now I'm back in my room, waiting for the times Anthony will come here while reading the martial arts book Collin gave me. I learned it slowly, following each movement Collin described in it until nightfall.
A maid came to remind me that I was ten minutes late for dinner. Quickly, I went to the bathroom to clean myself. No one must know that I'm exhausted from practicing martial arts all day.
After everything was ready, I went downstairs. Andrew's face looked sour, perhaps because he had been waiting too long and no one had touched the dishes until I arrived.
"Can we start dinner?" Andrew asked as I was already seated in my chair.
I nodded in response; we didn't talk much, including Lucy, who also didn't say much. It seems she also understood Andrew's tired face.Dinner went smoothly until the end. And I was simply allowed to return to my room. It seems there are no problems, besides Andrew looking quite tired. And no one reported or knew that today I had successfully entered the detention cell to see Collin.
I happily returned to my room. I don't need to bother wasting energy and effort chatting with Andrew or Lucy. Now I might just need to wait for Anthony to arrive here.
I waited on the balcony calmly, a glass of juice in the evening accompanying me, with binoculars that I had checked several times to make sure Anthony wasn't breaking into this house again.
Unfortunately, three hours passed, and Anthony didn't come. And I didn't know when Anthony was coming, so we had to wait longer for our plan to get Collin out first.
I decided to go back into the room, waiting inside while the balcony window remained open. Suddenly the lights in my room went out. I gasped. I saw the lights in the other rooms were still on and calm. Why did only my room's lights go out?
I got up to check the situation, but suddenly someone lunged at me. The sharp tip of the knife was right in front of my face; luckily, I instinctively grabbed the attacker's hand and held back the pressure, otherwise my face might have been slashed.
I rolled our bodies over so that the perpetrator was now under me. In the darkness, I couldn't see who was rushing at me; I could only feel that it was a woman's body. When I made us roll toward the balcony, the light from outside the balcony struck the perpetrator's face.
And as expected, who could be so bold as to hold a knife to the face of this hostess? Lucy was down there staring at me with vengeful eyes.
"Why are you always attacking me?" I asked.
"I don't like you. You're so loved by Andrew," Lucy said.
"Why are you bothered? It's clear that a husband loves his wife," I said, still trying to appear calm and dignified.
"I've wanted your position since we were teenagers. But Andrew never looked at me." Lucy's words made me realize that she and Andrew had been close and known each other for a long time. They had also spent many days together since they were teenagers, while I only met Andrew when we were in our twenties.
"You should have gone after Andrew; ask him why he couldn't choose you." At that moment, my words made Lucy even angrier and more humiliated. With all her might, she flipped me back so I was beneath her.
"Because if you weren't there, he would choose me. Then I must finish you off first," Lucy said with overflowing anger.
"If that's the case, then kill me if you can." I challenged Lucy, and the more she was challenged, the more she was consumed by anger. With all her might, she raised her hand into the air, ready to quickly plunge her knife, but I had already pushed her body, causing her to roll near the bed.
We were quite far apart, and then she charged at me again. And she did this without any provisions, driven only by emotion and the determination to attack.
I know she has no martial arts background, but her burning anger makes her strength immense. But wait, I clearly won in technique.
When Lucy rushed toward me, I grabbed her arm and slammed her body onto the floor. Unfortunately, Lucy is just that persistent, unwilling to give up or even pause for a few seconds to catch her breath. She immediately got up and attacked me again with the knife still in her hand.
Maybe Lucy hasn't given up because she has a knife in her hand. What if we take the knife?
This time, I didn't just use a hard throw to counter Lucy's attack but also used it to secretly take the knife from her hand.
Throw the knife toward Lucy now. Lucy walked backward and started to get scared. I smiled, as if I were the one chasing her now, even though what Lucy did was far more terrifying, pointing the tip right at my face.
As I was about to approach Lucy to scare her, the lights in my room suddenly turned on. Andrew stood in the doorway with his sharp eyes fixed on me. Out of all the situations we've been in since earlier, why does Andrew have to come now?
Lucy ran toward Andrew, grabbing his arm in fear. "Mrs. Matilda wants to kill me." Lucy's trembling words made Andrew hold her hand, trying to calm her down.
"Do you believe me?" I asked, and Andrew fell silent, but his gaze still pierced me sharply.
"Lucy, bring your knife back. Next time, don't bring props like this into my room." I threw the knife Lucy was carrying in front of Andrew's feet. I don't need to feel afraid; I was the one who was harmed, and my life was the one that was threatened earlier. Lucy could only accuse, and the situation was completely in her favor because Andrew arrived when the knife was in my hand.
"Has living in a mental hospital really driven you crazy?" Andrew asked again.
"You will find the answer without me telling you. Can madness be seen with just the eyes? If that's the case, the person who went berserk is truly crazy, the person who hit is also crazy, and the one who pounced with a knife is also crazy." Indirectly, I was alluding to Andrew's own treatment of me and what Lucy had just done to me.
Andrew fell silent, this time his gaze directed toward Lucy, who was still clinging to his arm. "If Matilda attacked you first, why were you in her room?"
I smiled seeing how tightly Lucy's hand gripped Andrew's work shirt. I knew she was starting to get scared and didn't know what to say.
"ANSWER ME!" Andrew's voice rose, causing Lucy to release his hand and move away from him.
"I, I came here to chat with Mrs. Matilda. But she attacked me," Lucy said.
"Then where did the kitchen knife come from? Matilda couldn't possibly keep a knife in her room." And Lucy is frozen now.
