I hate you
I hate you
Pyrrhus Cole stood up from the chair with fiery eyes after hearing what she just said. Seeing her terrific eyes, Mila quickly retreated.
"I get it!! Fine I get it and I take back those words but it's the truth isn't it? I'm trying to help you here and put some good words for you and you're here shouting on me as if I was some dog!"She snapped with the fire in her eyes.
As if some water is added on his hot head, Pyrrhus calmed down and sat back in the chair. "This is the kind of reaction I want from you and not cozy some words wrapped in a coat of sugar"He yelled and her mouth went agape.
Mila packed the first aid boxes and made for the door. "You really don't like being helped do you?"
He looked at her leave. Subconsciously, he let out a beautiful smile.
(BACK AT ABRAMAR KINGDOM)
Judy walked angrily into her mother's room with anger.
"It didn't work mother!! The charm doll didn't work!"
The older woman became alerted and walker closer to her daughter whose face was showing every hint of disappointment and regret "Are you sure you put it under his pillow?"
"Pillow?, You didn't tell me to put it there if course?" Judy replied in a flimsy tone.
Her mother stood her ground, "Yes! You see? You don't listen to me you should have put it under his pillow and the charm would work" she said.
Judy sighed with a resigned expression, "Okay fine I'll do what you ask and if it doesn't work then I'm done and if I'm going down, Mum, we're going down together"
As she said this her mother laughed it off as if it was nothing. The mother was sure that Mila will never come back no matter how much they wanted her to.
Her daughter must Marry Prince Gabe and the young prince should forgett about Mila and her entire being.
"Thank you Mila... My daughter will experience good life thanks you"
(THE NEXT MORNING, AT DRAGON FANGS ABODE)
Pyrrhus Cole woke up with a blast of pain on his injured shoulder. He groaned as he stared at the morning sun and yawned loudly looking at the hour glass clock.
He turned it upside down again leaving the tiny specks of sand to pour out.
He suddenly regretted that he rejected Mila's help earlier. His arm now hurt and it's very painful.
Enduring the pain, Pyrrhus Cole yawned loudly again and ignored the ache pounding on his head and headed straight for the kitchen in a staggering motion.
Pyrrhus Cole couldn't help but smiled at the cute duo as they slept besides each other. For both Mila and Little Phoenix were yet to wake up from bed.
Still smiling cheerfully, he suddenly heard a familiar voice of Kyra say beside him. "Spare me the official jargon Pyrrhus Cole, are you okay?"
He looked back the the speaker "Kyra?" What are you doing here?" he asked as she dropped a basket in front of him.
‘I was at the market then I saw fresh vegetables and milk at a cheap price so I thought I should get you some to prepare breakfast for Little Phoenix" Kyra said.
Pyrrhus touched her by the shoulder, "No Kyra Mila would make the meals, you can as well wait and have some" he replied and a skeptical look appeared on her face.
‘Who?? That spoilt princess knows how to cook?? She's been feeding you and Little Phoenix garbage all this time! Cant you just see that she's harmful?" She yelled. Pyrrhus Cole frowned deeply.
"She's not smart enough to poison me Kyra and I know what I am doing, so keep quiet and don't question my Authority"
‘But your highness she's the daughter of a traitor, why did you choose to trust Mila over me Pyrrhus?"
Pyrrhus didn't know how to say it but yell, "Yeah and she's also my wife because I married her Kyra and you have no other choice but to respect my decision!" As he yelled Kyra went mute immediately..
"I'm sorry your highness it won't happen again" She murmured and left.
What Pyrrhus and Kyra didn't know was that Mila was eavesdropping thier conversations. Mila frowned deeply hearing Pyrrhus Cole's conversation with that Kyra and couldn't help but sneer.
What on earth does she even have against her?
"Mila!!' she heard Pyrrhus called her and immediately scurried back to her bed feigning sleeping.
‘Mila!!'..He repeated loudly barging through my door..
"What do you want?" She asked sharply.
"Breakfast in twenty minutes" He replied and turned around . As he turned, Mila saw the wound on his leg and could imagine the pain he was feeling in the right leg.
'If only he allowed me to help him then it wouldn't be hurting by now' se thought inwardly.
But unfortunately Pyrrhus Cole isn't a man that wants to be helped from someone like her.
Minutes later....
"Here you go" Princess Mila said as she placed hot corn bread and molasses with a slice of hot herbal tea in front of Little Phoenix and his obnoxious father.
"Mmmh" He murmured and she turned around going back to my room...
"Aren't you going to eat?"
"No I'm not hungry"
Pyrrhus dropped his chopsticks, and said; "I won't have you starve yourself Mila, and I won't also beg you so grab a plate and eat if you want to stay alive" .He yelled and then all of a sudden began choking badly.
"Get me water Mila!" He ordered and Mila rushed over to the kitchen.
He grabbed the jug from her hands as Soon as she got back and gulped the water like his life depended on it.
"It's not right to shout When there's bread in your mouth, but you keep shouting Mila, I wonder what you can do without me" Mila sneered walking away and he dragged her back with his strong hands.
"I don't know what's wrong with you and I don't care. But the next time you sneer at me I'll make sure you regret it!" He whispered loudly and pushed her aside.
Mila glared at him with hatred her eyes, ‘I hate you!" She yelled.
Pyrrhus smirked. "The feeling is mutual
don't get it twisted"He replied and she groaned walking away.
He watched as Little Phoenix exclaimed, "Father, look at me go!!!" while splashing about in the small pool he had set up. "You're just two years old, young man, and..." His voice trailed off as a sudden, piercing headache struck, leaving him dizzy and disoriented.
"Father, are you okay?" Little Phoenix asked, concern etched on his tiny face. He forced a nod, trying to reassure him. "Keep playing, I'll be back soon." He murmured, stumbling towards the kitchen.
The pain in his shoulder, leg, and head intensified, making every step agony. Just then, Mila entered the room. "Are you okay?" she asked, her voice laced with worry. He flinched, irritable from the pain. "Why can't you just mind your own business?!" He snapped, swatting her helping hands away.
"I don't...I...I don't need your..." His voice faltered as the room began spinning violently, and he collapsed to the ground. The last thing he heard was Mila's urgent cry: "Pyrrhus Cole!!"
