Because I'm your Luna

Because I'm your Luna
The bright sunlight broke through the small windows to Pyrrhus Cole's face. His wound is now better

He got up from the bed, "Little Phoenix?" He murmured walking into his son's room but couldn't find him on bed. A feeling of panic wavered into his head.

Where could he be?

"Little-" His voice cut short as soon as he found him cuddled in Mila's arms.

He leaned onto the doorway and couldn't help but smile at the sight. He slept so uncomfortably in her arms that it felt like she was his mother. How he wished that Mila is not the daughter of the same man who got rid of Little Phoenix's mother.

"Mmmh..Ahh!!" Mila screamed as she saw him on the door making him frowning deeply.

"What is wrong with you? Why are you screaming so early in the morning?" he asked with a frown on his face.

Mila staggered up, "Nothing...nothing I just didn't expect to see you here and all that" Mila couldn't help but stutter.

Pyrrhus smirked and turned back "Breakfast in ten minutes" He said and walked away hiding the expression on her face.

Her hair color was different. He guess she wasn't a natural blonde but rather a crimson red colored haired woman.

Natural but rather extremely beautiful.

Minutes later, Mila placed corn flour soup with Brussels sprouts in front of Pyrrhus and his son. The father and the son gawked after tasting the rich aroma of delicacy and nodded in approval tasting the soup.

The table was silent save for the clinging of the utensils.

Little Phoenix was the one that broke the ice still silence, "Why is Mother's hair different?"

Mila shifted uneasily on her chair, "Humm, Yeah...Yeah this is my real hair color" She can't help but reply.

Pyrrhus smiled conquettishly, "So you're not proud of your natural hair color"

"It's not like I'm not proud, it's just that I don't like the color" She replied.

Pyrrhus Cole muttered something indifferently, "You look good with the hair dye" He spoke without knowing when the words slip out of his mouth.

Mila didn't hear him well, but Little Phoenix caught him, He shifted his chair and whispered to Mila, "Mother, I think father likes your hair"

They both chuckled excitedly as the Continue whispering to each other.

Pyrrhus took a few more bites from the food and left the dinning

"Why aren't you eating again?" She asked after him

"I'm full"

"But you haven't eaten much and your wound is still sore" she asked

"And how does that concern you? Mind your business and eat your breakfast!" he retorted loudly and she nodded obediently.

After breakfast, Mila and Little Phoenix had actually thought that he had went out, but he was in his artillery writhing in pain.

The pain from his wound increased by every minute. Heat added to the problem he was facing. He left the artillery and tiptoed to the living room.

He took off his shirt which concealed another injury.

Damned arrorw! Damn King Ebenezer, Damn the soldiers. If King Ebenezer had obeyed him by not attempting to find him , then he won't have been injured and be at Mila's mercy.

As soon as Mila saw him, she rushed to him.

"You're injured!?" Mila yelled as she walked in.

Pyrrhus frowned when she came in, he hate Being seen when he was vulnerable the most. He hates been tended to by females especially Mila.

"Go and do whatever you wanted to you shouldn't be here, my injuries are not your concern"He barked but the way he was writhing in pain gave him away.

"You see, you can't handle these things alone. Let me help you, you're badly injured" she offered as she tried to touch hus back but he flinched.

He didn't want her hand on his body but he can't help the comfort he felt when she touched him. "What is wrong with you?, Where is the hatred you have for me?, I'm an assassin remember?" he said trying to comprehend how she was getting him attracted to her.

"Well...Pyrrhus you're bleeding! She yelled.

He grabbed her hand and pulled it away, "Leave Mila!, I don't want to be closer to you, I brought you here for your father's sin not for you to get attached to me"

Mila slapped her hand away from his and yelled at him angrily, "I am your wife Pyrrhus, it's is my duty as a wife to take care of my husband"

Pyrrhus Cole's ego slowed down. He became totally defeated after what she said.

"Please let me help you Pyrrhus, I can't bear to see you in this so much Pain" Mila repeated and he sighed deeply.

"Fine then" He murmured with difficulty and immediately she rushed to rhe cabinet and brought out a salve.

She came back almost immediately, as she applied the slippery substance, he could notice her hand shaking.

"Does it hurt??" She asked and he frowned deeply.

"Of course it hurts!" He snapped in annoyance.

"Since you you aren't making any moves, so I thought maybe it doesnt hurt you"She stayed but Pyrrhus is enjoying the scent of her silky skin which wavered it's way into his nose. With every caress her hands had on his skin, his heart beat skipped a beat.

He quickly composed himself and cleared his throat, "Just because I don't show pain doesn't mean I don't feel it, Endurance is something I must possess as an assassin"

Pyrrhus became agitated and more angrier as she applied another powder on the winds and said, "I'm sorry if you had a rough childhood, I didn't know all these before, I am very sorry for everything you might have passed through"

He stood up furiously from his seat and shouted on her, "What's wrong with you Mila? Why are you feeling sorry for me?, You're supposed to hate me and despise me not feeling sorry for me!, I captured you for your father's sin, I'm the assassin that kills people!, The assassin that gave your mother a heart attack!, The assassin that kills people!, The assassin that —

"But that assaasin is now my husband" she said as she cut him short.

"What?"

"I am now the wife of that Assassin that kills like Azzrail the angel of death, like you said, no matter what, I am now yours, unless one of us dies, I really hate you! Yes I hate you for taking out your revenge on me when I am not the one that offended you"

"I hate you for becoming someone that I can't boast of, for choosing a profession Little Phoenix cannot inherit.... So let me do my best as your wife while I am here"
