"I’m glad you will be getting your memories back," Dika said. "At least when you finally remember everything, we will have childhood stories to share."
"I can't wait." Nyxoria beamed, excitement lighting up her face.
"If you need anything, just know I am available and will always have your back."
"Thank you, Dika," Nyxoria said sincerely. She glanced toward the window, noting the position of the sun. "There’s still time for you to go to the Arcane, you know."
Dika shook her head. "That’s your record, Nyxoria. I’m not breaking it. Besides, I already decided not to attend today. I’m staying here with you until evening."
Nyxoria grinned mischievously. "Then let's not waste it, let's go and practice, the courtyard is massive and Tharros won't complain if we damage anything. In fact we are free to do that."
Dika raised a brow. "You’re starting to like this insane prince, huh? I thought you’d hate him for defeating you."
Nyxoria smirked. "He defeated me so he is worthy of me." But she has decided to fight with him once again when she has her wolf dragon in her. She will challenge him again.
Both girls left the chamber, heading straight for the castle courtyard to practice.

Fae Kingdom: Oberon Chamber:
King Oberon couldn’t sleep. He couldn’t eat. He sat on the edge of his bed, fists clenched, staring blankly at the wall. His anger burned deep, simmering just beneath his skin.
Tharros had beaten him to it.
The plan had been perfect, Nyxoria was supposed to be his. He had spent years carefully waiting, setting everything into place. He could have taken her when she was fifteen, but no, he had been patient, biding his time until she turned eighteen. She would have agreed. He would have made sure of it.
But Tharros… that boy came along and ruined everything. He had thought Tharros hated the mere sight of Nyxoria but he was wrong.
He was always one step ahead but what Tharros did just pushed that belief to the side.
Tharros may be young but he isn't someone who could be defeated easily. Apart from having almost all the powers and strength of all the kingdoms put together, he is the King of Shadows that even his own shadow will obey his command. That is to tell how powerful Tharros is.
Oberon thought hard of how to fight Tharros for Nyxoria hand and then his eyes widened as a thought came to him and his lips curled into a smirk.
"I have a way of making Nyxoria mine."
His smirk widened as he stood abruptly from his bed, striding toward the door. He yanked it open and gestured for one of the guards outside.
"Tell the palace cook to prepare something for me," he ordered.
The guard bowed and left to carry out his command.
King Oberon leaned against the doorframe, his smirk never fading.
Nyxoria would come home soon.
Because home was with him.

Daisy Home:
Daisy stepped into her small home at the mountain side, arms full of freshly picked herbs. She had taken a little divert to gather what she would need later, carefully selecting each one. Setting them down on the wooden table in the middle of the room, she sighed and stretched her shoulders before turning toward the wall.
Then she froze.
Something was off.
Her fingers twitched as she scanned the room, her senses prickling. The air carried a presence.
"Whoever you are, there’s no need to hide," she said calmly but firmly. "I can feel you. So save us both the trouble and show yourself. If not, don’t blame me for being harsh."
A soft chuckle echoed through the room and then a young lady appeared resting at the door frame. Half of her face down to a leg was covered with dark ink-like markings. Her black hair was long and flowed around her.
"You!" Daisy’s eyes narrowed. "What are you doing here?"
"You already know why, Daisy, so stop acting dumb," the woman said smoothly, her voice carrying a slight edge of amusement.
"And I’ll tell you again, I won’t go against Nyxoria. She is now my friend."
The woman, Fefe, tilted her head, watching Daisy closely.
"You are one of us," she reminded her.
"Was," Daisy corrected sharply.
Fefe smirked. "But then you changed. What changed, Dai?"
Daisy exhaled deeply, her expression hardening. "What changed, Fefe, is my heart. We did too much to that poor girl. That’s enough."
Fefe chuckled, shaking her head. "You’re no saint."
"And neither are you," Daisy shot back.
Silence stretched between them, it was very tense.
"You know why I’m here?" Fefe finally asked.
Daisy nodded. "Yes. But I’ll tell you this now, I’m not going down alone. If I fall, you’re coming with me."
Fefe laughed, the sound low and mocking.
"You? Against me?" she taunted. "You’re no match, Daisy." Fefe added and in a split second she was standing in front of Daisy and before the Priestess would react, there was a sudden rush of movement behind her.
A sharp blow struck the back of her neck. Her vision blurred, and before she could gather her strength, darkness swallowed her whole.
Behind her stood a tall man with messy brown hair, lowering his hand after delivering the strike.
"You just kept talking and talking," he muttered. "I had to step in."
Fefe shrugged. "I was trying to see if she would change her mind."
The man scoffed. "Then you clearly don’t know Daisy as well as you think. Once she’s made up her mind, there’s no turning back." He bent down and easily lifted Daisy’s unconscious form. "She might still be useful to us."
Fefe nodded in agreement, watching as the man vanished with Daisy in his arms.
If they didn't sneak up on the Priestess, fighting the Priestess would be hard even with the two of them.
Then she smirked.
Slowly, the ink-like markings on her body began to shift, melting away as her form twisted and morphed. Her features changed, her hair lightening, her frame adjusting.
In mere seconds, Fefe was gone.
And in her place stood a perfect replica of Daisy.
She smiled.
"Time to play pretend."
