Epilogue

Cassidy sat back on the large blanket situated in the wild fields. She leaned back as she soaked in the soothing rays of the sun, enjoying the warmth that it was offering her.

She jumped as she felt a kick coming from her stomach and lifted her hand to rub her belly gently to calm her growing child down. She smiled as she felt her unborn baby move around as it tried to get comfortable in a new position. It was getting close to her due date, and she couldn’t wait to meet her new baby.

Cassidy looked up as she heard a giggle coming from the field.

“Momma, Momma …. Daddy’s trying to catch me.” she heard her oldest son yell out as he came running toward her.

Cassidy opened her arms wide as her son leaped into the air and caught him in his arms.

“I got you. Don’t you worry, I’ll protect you,” she said softly. Cassidy felt the familiar tingle in her leg, letting her know that her mate was close by.

Cassidy pulled her son back to look at his beautiful face. His hair was a chestnut brown like her own, but he had his father’s fierce blue eyes.

“Caleb, you must be getting faster if it’s taking your father this long to catch up to you,” she said to her son in a teasing voice.

“You couldn’t be more wrong, my dear; Jackson and I stopped to pick some flowers for our favorite lady. Didn’t we, Jackson?” Jacob pointed out as he and their other son came walking up together with a bundle of wildflowers in each of their hands.

Caleb’s twin brother Jackson blushed as he nodded his head in agreement with what his father had said. Jackson released his Dad’s hand before rushing up to his mom and offering her the small bouquet.

Her eyes lit up as she saw they had each brought her her favorite flowers from the meadow.

“I love them, thank you,” she told them as she leaned over to kiss her other son’s cheek for being so sweet.

“Hey, no fair, I want to get Momma some flowers.” Caleb started to whine.

Jacob laughed as he kneeled next to his son. “Why don’t you ask Jackson if he’ll show you the secret place for Momma’s favorite flowers,” he suggested.

Caleb turned to his brother, who quickly nodded happily and rushed in the direction he knew where the flowers grew.

Jacob situated himself behind his mate to allow her to rest against him as he soothingly rubbed her stomach.

“How’s our little one doing?” he whispered softly before laying a kiss on the side of her head.

“This one is a little more restless than the twins were, but other than that, it is doing just fine,” she assured him.

Jacob sighed with happiness as he held onto his mate and watched his boys play in the distance.

It had been two and a half years since Cassidy got her memories back, and neither wanted to waste any more time being separated. A month later, they decided to have their mating ceremony, making Cassidy the Luna of Jacob’s pack. It was a big adjustment for Cassidy, but with the support of Wayne, the town elder, and all their friends, she shifted into the position nicely.

Her grandfather’s cabin became a summer home for them when they needed to have some time to themselves and away from the duties of the pack.

She started taking classes from one of the local nymphs to learn about her history and the powers she had inherited from her grandmother. With a little bit of time and patience, she was able to forgive her grandfather for signing a contract to give her up before she even existed. She realized that some men would do anything for the woman they love.

Natalie and Gavin had two girls of their own, and they were trying for a third. Natalie started a bakery offering her delicious foods and treats for the pack members to try and eat.

Raymond and Kaitlyn were taking things slowly. Kaitlyn was trying to convince Raymond to move to the city while he was trying to get her to move to the country. They each had a list of opposite tastes but were willing to make it work.

Teddy found his mate within Adrian’s old pack, and Jacob thought it was best to make Teddy his second in command for that pack so he could live there to be closer to his mate and oversee things when Jacob was unable to.

Cassidy sighed as she felt the familiar current run through her as Jacob’s fingers stroked softly up and down her arm. She finally got the family she had always wanted and the love she had always wished she would find.

Cassidy leaned back and gazed into Jacob’s blue eyes.

She was bound to the billionaire wolf and wouldn’t want it any other way.

The End.
