She is My Everything

She is My Everything
Ashton’s POV

This morning, I woke before Lily. Her fingers rested lightly on my bare chest, her eyes still closed. We had fallen asleep in each other’s arms, wrapped in a blanket that covered our bodies after a night of breathtaking intimacy.

I smiled as I looked at her beautiful face. She was everything to me, perfect and rare, as if God had sent her just for me. A woman with unwavering principles. A woman with stunning beauty, inside and out. A woman who felt like home.

My eyes fell on the marks of love scattered across her skin. Was I too intense last night? But it felt incredible, letting go of everything I had kept locked inside for so long. I gently brushed her cheek. The memory of our passion made me want to relive it again. But I knew, last night was her first time, and I would give her space to breathe.

Slowly, Lily stirred. Her eyelids fluttered open, and her smile bloomed as she saw me.

“What time is it, love? Is it morning already?” she asked, glancing around.

“It’s still early,” I said, my gaze locked on her.

She looked a little flustered, a pink blush spreading across her cheeks. Was she shy, remembering what happened between us? Her moans, her soft cries still echoed in my head. I loved the way she said my name, her voice thick with longing. Just remembering it stirred something in me again.

“Why are you looking at me like that, Ashton?” she asked softly, her eyes searching mine.

“Are you happy with me?” I asked gently, caressing her cheek.

She nodded. “So much, Ashton…”

“And how was last night?” I whispered near her ear, teasing a little.

“Incredible,” she said. “It was beautiful… unforgettable.” Her eyes sparkled with a light that hadn’t dimmed. I could see the love in her gaze, so honest, so open.

“Thank you for last night. Thank you for giving everything to me.” I looked at her with all the love I had. I was deeply in love with her, more than I had ever known was possible. I took her hand and kissed it.

“I feel so lucky to be the first man to touch you. I hope my name stays in your heart forever.” I smiled again.

Her eyes filled with tears. A single drop fell from the corner of her eye. “I’m lucky to have you too, Ashton. I want you to be with me… forever.”

“I will, Lily. I’ll protect you… always.” I kissed her hand again.

“The contract marriage…” she whispered.

I placed my finger gently on her lips. “There is no contract. Let’s erase it. It means nothing now.”

Tears streamed down Lily’s face as she smiled. “Are you serious, Ashton? That’s all I’ve ever wanted. I’ve wished for our marriage to be real… for so long.”

I smiled, silently scolding myself for not seeing it sooner. I should’ve told her from the beginning how much I wanted her, how much I loved her, how much I dreamed of spending my life with her.

“This is a real marriage now, Lily. We’re building a future together. You’ll be the mother of my children.” Joy, relief, love, they all blended into one overwhelming feeling.

Lily threw herself into my arms. I heard her sob softly, and her tears touched something deep inside me.

“Thank you, Ashton. I love you…”

I cupped her face and kissed her forehead again and again.

“I love you more, Lily.”

This morning, we laid out a blanket facing the Hudson River, which always sparkled so clearly in the morning light. We sat together, savoring warm coffee, croissants, churros, and roasted potatoes. The crisp autumn air felt warmer with her by my side.

“Lily, is there anywhere else you’d like to go?”

She scanned the brochure in her hands. “I think I’d love to visit the Hudson Valley Wine Trail, a museum, and the Farmer’s Market.” Her smile lit up her face.

“Alright. We’ll go there,” I said. Whatever Lily wanted, I would make it happen. I wanted this honeymoon to become something she would carry in her heart forever.

Just as we had planned, we visited a vineyard. Lily was glowing as she walked between rows of grapevines heavy with fruit. The tour guide said this was the perfect season for harvesting. It felt like we had come at just the right time.

Besides strolling through the vineyard, we had the chance to taste several wines—red, white, rosé, and sparkling. Lily didn’t want to miss a thing. She even bought some grape-based goodies: jam, jelly, grape cider, and skincare products like lotion and soap.

We enjoyed every moment of this day. And now, we couldn’t wait to discover what came next.

Before moving on to the next spot, we took our time to savor the breathtaking view in front of us. The vineyard stretched wide, a soothing sight to the eyes.

We sat on a mat, enjoying the grape-based products we had bought. Lily leaned her head on my shoulder. Her breathing was soft, her hand clasping mine tightly.

“Ashton…”

“Yes, Lily.”

“I want this to last… just us. It feels like a dream to live somewhere far from the city. A place as peaceful as this. Away from the crowds, away from the noise and traffic.”

I gently stroked her head.

“You want a life like that?” I asked, my gaze drifting to the vineyard that sprawled before us.

Lily looked up at me with a tender smile. “Yes, Ashton. Maybe we can think about it when we’re older… or after we have kids.”

“If that’s what you want, I’ll make it happen. Your happiness means everything to me.”
I held her hand even tighter.

Lily looked at me with those beautiful, sparkling eyes. It felt like I was staring into a love that would never run out.

“I love you with all my heart, Ashton.”

“I love you too, Lily. Thank you for coming into my life.” I smiled and pressed a soft kiss to her lips.

When I’m with her, I feel like I need nothing else. She’s the answer to all my doubts. The answer to every question. My final search… and the one who gave true meaning of love.
