Everything is mounting and I feel self-doubt flood my body and mind. I grew up as an orphan and I know nothing about infants. I have never even held a baby.

Morgan nuzzles me, “But you can and you will. We will help you!”
Elena squeezes my hand, “You're not alone, sis!”
Morgan purrs, “Oh, that's very true.” Her purr intensifies as she looks at Marcus.
Marcus sighs, “There's that look again!”
Vincent quips, “What now Devil's concubine?”
Morgan snarls, “Such an asshole! Just because some witches sold their souls doesn't mean we all did you pompous prick!”
“Vin just quit while you're ahead because if she turns you into a mouse I'm not going to stop her.”
Vincent scoffs, “She can't fucking do that!”
“But can you be so sure? Are you willing to risk it?”
I pet Morgan as she sits happily on my shoulder. Vincent throws his hands up, “I give up!”
Morgan purrs, “Good, now we can get back to other things.”
Elena asks, “What are you insinuating, Morgan?”
Morgan swished her tail, “I have been thinking and now it is obvious. You found your mate, so you'll do what your mates do.”
Elena bites her lip, “Ummm.”
Morgan grins, “You'll have children too!”
Katie squeals, “We are going to need multiple nurseries! I'm going shopping!”
Morgan grins, “I'll babysit our gods.”
Katie looks at Morgan for confirmation, “It's usually not bad before sunset, but well you saw this morning.”
Morgan purrs, “That I did!”
Sam chuckles, “Eva, we should pay a quick visit to the pack. Elena I suggest by nightfall you and Marcus should enjoy some intimacy. You both need that time!”
Morgan grins, “It'll also see if they acquire any powers. Plus, we don't know for sure they won't Haze, and as entertaining as this morning was, I don't think I want to have to choose who to watch!”
Vincent shakes his head, “You're one sick cat!”
Katie shakes her head, “She's not sick. You'd watch too if you were her.”
Vlad looks at her, “You don't watch.”
Katie scrunched her nose, “You all are family now. Eww, besides you're making me an aunt!”
“Katie!”
She squeezes my hand, “I know things can happen but you heard Morgan. It will happen. Stop worrying you'll be a good mom. You won't leave your children. You will fight for them instead.”
Eric asks, “Katie can I ask you to pickup a few things?”
Katie grins, “Sure.”He whispers in her ear. She just smiles and nods.
She leaves and I just have to know. I use our mindlink and he informs me that it's Morgan's birthday. A surprise will be setup while we get Morgan out of the house.
“Well let's go while she's gone the sooner we get back the better!”
Sam nods, “Agreed we've cut it way too close before.”
Vlad snaps, “Vincent better not be driving!”
Eric asks, “What's wrong with his driving?”
Vlad responds, “They basically fucked while he was driving.”
Vincent corrects Vlad, “We just played. He wouldn't let us fuck. He's just jealous!”
Vlad whines, “No, I didn't feel like pulling steel out of my body and I still don't!”
Sam smirks, “Well expect a detour at some point because I won't hold off on fucking my wife!”
I blush because it still amazes me how easily he made me his wife.
Vincent yells, “No damn cats!”
Morgan cocks her head, “Exactly how did a detour manifest a zoo?”
Vincent says, “Her and the wolf fucked in a park and then my yard became a damn zoo!”
Sam chuckles, “And that attitude is how you got a cat in your pants too!”
Morgan does her purry laugh, “This should be fun!”
Eric shakes his head, “Come on let's go!”
****Eric’s POV***
I know that we are all nervous about what Morgan just revealed because I can feel it. This news brings bittersweet memories for me. As a born vampire, I was lucky to find a human mate. She didn't know that I was a vampire and became who I am. I hid that part of my life from her.
I had met my mate when I was off sewing my wild oats. I had planned to bring her home to meet my family and show her everything, but that never happened. She died while pregnant with our son. I couldn't turn her and he wasn't developed enough to be turned. So I went back home and was nearly too late then too. I want to be happy for the life or lives that are growing inside of Eva, but part of me fears that I'm cursed. I don't want her and those babies to meet the same fate as my first love did.
Yes, Morgan says that we are eternal but some gods have died. What if that happens to Eva?
