We port into her office, but it feels slightly different somehow, but I don't have time to dwell on it.
Gran jumps, “Some warning next time.”
Sam shrugs, “I called.”
Gran sighs before she swats him, “I am talking about before you physically manifest,”
I look at Sam and he looks at me and says cockily, “You didn't link her either.”
Gran glares at him as she hugs me, “She's with pups, so she gets a pass. Everyone, come over here and have a seat. Simon and Chris will be here soon.”
Morgan starts the conversation, “I think it is best if we introduce one of our newest member before they get here.”
Gran gasps, “Surely not another mate because she's already with pups.”
“Good god no!”
Sam pulls me into his arms, “Snow White, listen to me. Everything will be fine. Once we learn more perhaps all of this will make more sense.” He sits and places me on his lap as my other mates crowd around. Morgan hops on Gran's desk while she takes her seat behind it.
Morgan says, “Adele, meet Gabriel Eva's uncle and Cassius's too.”
Gran clearly states, “The White Wolf had no family.”
Gabriel smiles, “She isn't her reborn as you think,” as his wings appeared and unfurled. Just then Simon and Chris walked in.
Chris exclaims, “Holy Shit!”
Gran growls, “Boy, silence yourself!”
Chris bows his head, “Sorry, Gran.”
Gran says firmly, “Just get all of the way in here and close the door behind you both.”
Morgan looks around, “You have the dampening ward-up that I suggested, don't you?”
Maybe that's why her office felt different. It has a magic ward over it that it didn't before.
Gran nods, “Yes, but I am not sure how long it will last though.” Morgan rubs her as she looks at Gabriel.
Gabriel smiles, “Yes, you are right, Morgan. Eva, I need you to follow what I say. Can you do that?” I chew my lip and he looks at my mates. He looks at all of us, “I will need you guys to be prepared to restrain the two that just joined if necessary too. Eric and Sam, I will need your light.”
Simon asks, “What's going on?”
I look at everyone as I know what needs to be done and how it will appear. “Brother, do you trust me not just as your Luna, but truly trust me?”
Simon looks into my eyes, “Yes.” I turned to Chris, “What about you, Chris?” He nodded as he told us yes. “That is my uncle, Gabriel. He's the Angel of Ardor.”
Chris asks, “How?”
Morgan and Gabriel both explained everything to the Falls. They also explained that it needs to appear that only Sam and I visited today.
Gran says, “I thought something was strange because Sam has always been different but wouldn't my mate have told me of the gift?”
Gabriel puts his hand on hers, “Perhaps he did in the only way he could. He told you everything but then shrouded you to protect you.”
Gran asks, “This gift is why Sam survived that night, isn't it?”
Gabriel nods, “We think so.”
Simon asks, “But if it were a gift of the blood wouldn't it be in mine too? Sam is my twin.”
“Maybe a bit but not fully like Sam. But that is why you have another mate on her way too.”
Morgan smirks, “Or she could be back home.”
“Morgan?”
Morgan purrs, “You told me about the energy you felt approaching when you first met Simon. I didn't feel it fully when we were here on my birthday, but I feel it strongly now. But now you must all focus on lifting this shroud and then we might know more.”
