Eternally Bound:
Before we begin, we must remember where we have been and what is at stake for our group. Our group consisting of Eva and her mates still have many obstacles to overcome. However, thus far they have overcome a few and have come to respect and cherish each other in the process. This was no easy feat because Eva feared attachment to anyone but her best friend, Katie. Her ex, Victor Van Clay, betrayed her and turned out to be a murderous vampire. She wanted to hate all vampires but she couldn't because of Vincent and Eric. They showed her the good in everyone. She found love and in that love a power she never expected.
The next obstacle that they tackled was living together and dealing with the Haze. Eva learned that not just shifters
Haze, however, hers wasn't like theirs. With each Haze, they became closer and closer until they became gods. Eva's Hazing was a transformation not just for her but for her mates as well.
The Haze allowed Eva to learn that her father is Mormo, a concubine of Hecate, known as the boogeyman. Eva has also learned that she's pregnant and is only starting to accept it as the children growing inside her amplify her powers. Our group learned of an ancient prophecy surrounding a witch who
became a white werewolf. They first assumed that Eva was that wolf whose soul returned, but they are learning how wrong they were. Eva is unlike any who came before and must maintain the balance as enemies threaten to destroy everything that she holds dear.
All of the pieces are starting to fit into place when an old threat emerges. Raven Lavoux is ready to sacrifice it all to become an eternal God. Will she succeed or will our group stop her?
Now let's go over the characters....
Eva Sims, whose point of view this story primarily features, is a paranormal writer. She has always been different. She grew up in an orphanage as a misfit and
outcast. Katie became her only friend. Through finding her mates, Eva learned that she's a goddess. But goddess of what? Just who was her mother?
Next is Vincent Black, Eva's first mate, who thought he was just a normal royal ancient vampire. He was happy to become heir of a kingdom. But The White Wolf War changed everything
because it took away the only person that he held dear, his wife Clare. After becoming a vampire he started his bloody path of vengeance. He became feared and was offered the chance to rule Europe, but he ran. He couldn't live with the guilt of killing his wife because of Raven. Then he met Eva. Eva changed him and taught him what love is. He only held Clare dear, but he loved Eva. Eva changed him and his eternity.
Then we have Sam Fall, Eva's werewolf mate, who is a Regional Alpha that has a lengthy legacy that has remained hidden for centuries until he immediately fell for Eva. He knew that she was his mate, but she was hesitant as she had feelings for Vincent. It took the men a bit to accept that Eva had multiple mates, but once that happened a new life began.
Eric Wood, vampire prince elect over most of the United States for the past few centuries, is also one of Eva's mates as he fell for her once they touched. He was always obsessed with decorum until he read Eva's articles. They drew him in. He had to meet her because he needed her help. He got far more
than just her help, he got her heart.
Vlad Tepes aka Dracula, Vincent's brother who is a historian and a womanizing vampire. He is also Eva's mate even though they fought it hard. He hated her sass and she
loathed his bravado. Vlad had only loved one woman, Elena, that he made into his vampiress. She was captured and bound to a necromancer. Eva helped free Elena but in doing so she also freed Vlad. Vlad fell hard for Eva and they together can move mountains, literally.
Our group was blessed with a valuable ally when Morgan LaFae showed it. Morgan LaFae, ancient witch queen cursed to be a cat by Raven Lavoux during the White Wolf war. Morgan
became eternal back then but never knew how. She was once the lover of Raven Lavoux, but Raven betrayed her and all of mankind in her pursuit for power. Morgan chose to fight for the light and discovered her undying love for the White Wolf. She seeks redemption because Raven destroyed more than Morgan's trust, she destroyed her mate.
Agnes Sampson, witch who cursed herself to be a cat to avoid being persecuted for witchcraft and worshiping Satan. Katie adopted her
unknowingly and she vows to help Eva.
Katie Smith, Eva's friend who recently discovered that she's a witch. She has always loved Eva like a sister and easily accepted what Eva is. She also found her mate
when Eva brought him home.
Cassius Walsh, he's an angel (maybe but we aren't completely sure yet) and werewolf hybrid. He's Eva's half-brother and Katie's mate. He was spellbound by Raven but broke free and now she hunts him.
Lastly, we have our villain of the story. Raven Lavoux, ancient witch who was Morgan's lover. Raven became obsessed with power and lusts for true immortality. She joined with a vampire king and tried to eradicate any that refused to join them. It brought about a huge war. During that war, Vincent became a vampire, Morgan a cat, and the White Wolf died after killing the vampire king. Raven escaped mostly unharmed but severely weakened. Now she threatens the balance once again as she tries to become a god.
As for the other characters, they will be reintroduced as they appear along this journey towards eternity. Can Eva keep her bonds intact and remain eternally bound or will darkness destroy them?
