CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-EIGHT
LUCIAN'S P.O.V
His eyes darted to Auron, then to me, his voice a desperate plea.
"Auron, stop her! She doesn't understand...you! You're her mate, aren't you? Control your woman dammit!"
I raised my hands and stepped back, shaking my head.
"Nope, don't drag me into this. You we're the one who started it." Then I smiled at her. "Please go on, honey."
She smiled back at me.
"Pl...please...forgive me...I'll try to make it up to you...at least for everything that I did for..." His voice came out a stuttering mess.
She suddenly growled and the next thing I knew, she had shifted into her wolf form, her white coat was a blur as she pounced on him, he gave a loud cry before snapped her sharp fangs on his neck, ripping his head clean off his body. She dropped the head to the ground as his body flopped lifelessly on the ground. I watched in pride and a bit of lust as blood dripped from her jaws. Damn, she just turned me on, like that. Gail behind us and the rest of Auron's men stared at her with pale, looks of shock on their faces, as if they had never killed someone before.
Kieran just nodded with a shrug.
"She's got a bit of a temper, doesn't she?"
"That's my girl right there. One badass." I grinned at Auron, he meanwhile had a shocked look on his face, his face a bit pale.
"Remind me to always stay on her good side."
"Don't worry, you're her brother, she won't do anything to you...much."
He shuddered. She made a light growl at us.
'Im going to shift outside, I'm naked right now. Give me the bag.' She told me through the mind link.
"Right."
I handed her the bag she had insisted she bring with her, it contained a set of clothes. She knew she was going to shift.
Once she left the room, Auron turned to his men.
"Take care of the body and clean up this place."
"Yes Alpha."
Then he nodded at me.
"Let's go."
We followed him out, heading out of the hallway towards where I assumed had to be the pack house, considering its large size. He sat on a sofa with a sigh, I didn't wait for him to tell me to sit, I sat down too, kieran and Kale followed suit.
"That went down easily." Kale was the first to speak.
Auron nodded.
"Yeah, thank goodness. I'm just shocked at the manner Aurora finished it." He shook his head.
I smiled.
"You got to understand that your sister is no baby. She is an all time bad ass when it comes to it. Don't forget that."
"I won't." Then he cocked his head, staring at me. "Her wolf is white, I noticed that. I've never seen a white wolf before. Though my wolf is more black with just a smudge of white ones my paws and tail."
Kieran nodded.
"That's because its only special to your clan and I'm guessing that because you are an alpha, you have more black than white."
He swayed his head from side to side, his eyes upward.
"I guess so."
Just then Aurora walked in, dressed in a new set of jeans, shirt and boots. She rolled her eyes as she made her way over to me.
"I'm sorry for the sudden outbursts, the baby just didn't want to hear him talking anymore."
I nodded mildly, "Yeah, no worries..."
Then I paused, what did she just say? Was I the only one that heard it? I looked at the others to make sure I wasn't hearing things. Auron and Kieran's eyes were wide, Kale had a grin in his face as he stared at me.
"Wait, what? You're..." Auron blinked.
Aurora smiled, tears in her eyes as she stared at me, her hand on her stomach.
"Pregnant. Yes, we're having a baby."
I immediately rushed to my feet and grabbed her by the shoulders.
"Pregnant! Did you just say baby? I heard you say the word baby, please tell me I wasn't hearing things."
She giggled and shook her head, her smile so beautiful, her hair framing her face.
"No, you heard right. I'm pregnant."
Kieran and Auron rushed to their feet with shots of joy, they even hugged each other. I forgot about them and just kept on looking at her face, to make sure she wasn't playing with me. I saw that she was really serious, my mouth opened in a wide round shape, I let out a loud shout as I pulled her to me.
"You're pregnant! We're gonna be parents! This is the best news so far." I kissed her deeply and looked into her eyes. "Thank you...thank you so much."
She stared into my eyes, her gaze on me, loving and warm.
"No thank you, for giving me the chance to be a mother."
"I love you."
"I love you too."
Then I turned to the guys and yelled.
"I'm going to be a father!"
Kale whooped in excitement, "I'm so happy for you guys man."
"Thank you so much."
Auron had a look of wonder on his face as he ran his hands through his hair.
"Oh man, I'm going to be an uncle...I can't believe this."
"And I'm going to be the child's godfather, no questions asked." Kieran suddenly declared, looking like he was ready to kill anyone who tried to argue.
Auron immediately glared at him, his eyes narrowed. Oh dear.
"No. What if I want to be the god father?"
Kieran eyed him, his nose flaring.
"You're already the uncle, that's like a natural bonus for you, no one is taking that title from you, okay. Now when I say I am the godfather, then I am the fucking godfather. That's final, you want to fight me on that?" He stepped closer, his fists clenched, "Because I'm ready."
Auron scoffed and turned away.
"You make a point there. Fine." He blew out a breath. "I guess I can allow you...to be the godfather."
Kieran's face went red.
"Allow me? Dude! I was here before you!"
"And I want born before you, take that!"
"At least I didn't kidnap her and try to take her powers."
"Well I...I..." Auron growled at him, not having anything to say. "That's low man, even for you."
Kieran smirked.
"I don't mind, as long as I win the case. Ha ha!"
