Chapter 41

Lila’s POV.

Alpha Hector came back in the night, staggering as a drunk would do, and the stench of alcohol rubbed over his body.

“Lila.” He called my name as he moved closer to the bed.

I laid still, hoping he would forget my name as he dropped onto his bed, hugging a jar of wine. My wish came to pass as he dropped to the bed, snoring away the instant he did.

I heaved a sigh, waiting until I was sure he was fully asleep before I left his side. Another issue waiting for me was the guards who’d stand at the door.

My heart pushed me on until I was standing by the door. It creaked as I turned the doorknob, peeking through the slits into the hallway. No one stood by the door, which meant alpha Hector had dismissed them, thinking he would make love with me tonight.

“It didn’t matter now,” I said to myself as I walked past the door, heading through the path that’d lead me to Kyril’s room.

There were no persons walking through the castle at this hour as it was deadly silent, except for the singing of nightlife. It was okay for me, as I really wanted to see Kyril. I had avoided him since his father showed up with a good side of him, causing me to want to hold on, but now I knew better.

I had heard the men speaking about the guard he almost killed while sparring, and I knew it was about me and how he came back aggressively, snapping out when he saw the look of horror on my face.

I shook my head, pushing open the door to Kyril’s room after checking to make sure no one saw me enter his room.

“Kyril,”

I called out as I stepped into the room. The room, shadowed with such darkness that I could hardly see the front of me.

“Kyril?” I called out again. This time in whispers, as I stumbled over a chair. I whimpered in pain as I had fallen over, grasping my feet, but it felt like I had fallen over something.

I fell to the ground, crawling away just as the person cried out in pain. My heart pounding within my chest as I felt I had done something and needed to escape before this person realized who I was.

“Andy?”

The voice called me back from the abyss of fear that I had almost drowned in. The shape of the person stood from the chair, turning around.

“Is that you, Kyril?”

“Lila?” He called, walking towards my voice.

I shivered as he touched me, his hands running from my hands to my face. “It’s me,” I said, placing my hand in the place I thought was his face. It was indeed his face as I touched his warm cheeks.

He cleared his throat as he helped me to my feet. “What are you doing here? It’s past midnight,” he said as he guided me past the furniture and into a seat.

“I could not sleep.”

He hummed as he walked away from me with only his silhouette weaving past obstacles in the darkness until he was standing in front of something like a wall. The sound of something solid sounded in the place he stood until I saw sparks below.

He stood as the flames burst into life in what came to be a fireplace, walking next to me as he cleaned his palms. “So, what could be the cause of your lack of sleep?”

I lowered my head to the ground, feeling ashamed of what I was about to say. “I’m sorry.”

He turned towards me, cleaning his eyes with his finger while he burst into a laugh.

“Why are you laughing?”

“What are you sorry for?” He countered, folding his leg on the chair to face me properly. He hummed, urging me to answer his question.

“I’m sorry for leaving you behind.”

He shook his head, leaning into his side of the chair. “That’s not a valid reason. Everyone gets left behind at any point in time, and I know I’m no different.”

“What do you want to hear, then?”

“I don’t know. Something that differed from just being sorry. Maybe an action that could cover for all the times you made me feel I no longer had a shot to have you with me,” he said, holding his hand against his chest.

“I don’t know what else to say. It happened so fast and I was in his room, and he was just there.”

I stopped, covering my hand over my face as it burned. “I thought he had changed. Hoped to give him another chance when I saw the light at the end of the tunnel.”

I turned to face him, hoping he’d understand my reason, but he just sat there with his face close to mine.

“You don’t believe me.....”

His lips dropped on mine, pushing me slowly until I lay on the chair. He pulled away, his eyes darting as he stared into mine. “There was nothing I know I could do, neither could you do. I only had to wait for you to see the truth,” he said, pushing away from the chair and pulling me along."

I didn’t know what to say, just staring at him as he wrapped his hand around my waist like we were about to dance.

“I knew in time he would show you his true colors and you’d come running back to me. My arms were always open wide, waiting for you to jump back in them.”

The tears dropped now from my eyes as his lips landed on mine. I invited him, letting him take control as he sucked on them. His scent filled my nostrils as my ears filled with the sound of our lips crushing together with the crackle of the burning wood under.

He pulled away, pushing me slowly. I knew where we were going to as he pushed me to the bed. I fell on its softness, welcoming me while he lowered himself on me, pushing my dress upwards until I could feel the chilly wind on my exposed thighs.

He moaned, climbing over my body as the flames burned in his eyes. “Do you want me?”

I stared at him, running my hand across his body until I found the lace holding it to him. “Why ask that question when we are alone?”

“I want to make sure your heart is all mine. Everything that is you belongs to me,” he said as he kissed my neck.

I could feel my pussy water, aching and begging for him to fill me. My breath turned raspy as the clothes came undone. “I want to be yours. I want everything about me to be yours.”

He smiled as he pulled away, caressing my cheeks. “Then I will make you mine.”

I smiled, watching him take off his shirt to expose his body. His dick throbbed against my body, but his eyes held me sway as he lowered himself back to me, biting and sucking on my neck.

“I want to be yours,” I said, moaning as I combed my hands through his hair.

He took off his lips, taking in a deep breath before he stared at me. “You are mine.”
