Chapter 15 Fated Prophecy
Suddenly, my chest ached at what Kaizer said. Shit. Am I that evil? Am I not even thinking about what I'm saying?
"Saera?"
I came to my senses from talking to Kaizer when my grandfather called my name.
"Hmm, yes?" I just answered.
"Listen, hija, you have a very big role to play in the whole of Wisteria. Your blood is the most precious thing in your kingdom. You're already aware of the three remaining girls?" my grandfather asked me.
"Yes, grandfather, they're from my world too. And sooner or later, they'll just appear from their own mirrors," I quickly answered.
"Good that you know this. You need to take care of yourself, the remaining empire is no joke. They surely know that one of the girls mentioned in the prophecy has appeared."
Why are other empires involved?
"Wait, I don't understand. What's with this prophecy? Do we intend to do something? Why does everyone seem to be waiting for the arrival of the four of us?" I asked, puzzled.
"Because the four of you will strengthen the entire Igor empire. No empire can defeat us if the four of you remain complete. You are the ace of the entire Igor because nothing is impossible when the blood of the four of you comes together."
I already know this.
"Why? Is there a conflict between the empires? Why is there a need for competition?"
"The relationship of each empire to each other has never been good. The competition and conquest of empires will never disappear."
Shit. Then it's not unlikely that there will be a big mess if they have what they call conquest. Damn.
"And as long as the four of us remain together, no one will dare to approach Igor? Are you saying, lolo, that we are instruments that need to be used to protect an empire that we didn't grow up in? Are we going to devote our lives here in this empire which we don't belong? Because in the way you explain it, lolo, we will be made shields of this empire for its own safety. We are not a shield or something, you are the vampires, why are you passing on your responsibilities in your own world to the four of us?" I argued. This is very irrational.
"That's not what I mean, hija," my grandfather answered firmly.
The three brothers remained silent while listening to our conversation.
"What else?" I asked, frowning.
"At this time, the different empires are surely moving just to get the four girls in the prophecy. And since you are the only granddaughter who has appeared, many vampires, high or low, are watching you."
Now I'm being threatened?
"They won't get anything from me," I said bluntly.
My grandfather's face remained serious at what I said.
"Didn't I tell you, apo, that only the Igor empire is blessed with these mirrors?"
Is that why other empires are so interested in us?
"Wait, then you're telling me that there are vampires after me? Not just the Lancasters?"
How can I live normally in this world? Damn.
"Excuse me, Saera, only Kaizer is chasing you. We were just ordered," Randall quickly interjected.
I just ignored what Randall said and listened to my grandfather again.
"Saera, your blood as well as the 3 remaining girls are very powerful. It can cure any disease, can make you possess an everlasting power that can bring down an entire empire with just a snap. Your blood can also bring back life from death."
I was just speechless at what my grandfather said.
"It is really a damn power then," I said briefly.
"The things that will happen also came from the blue fire. The most feared vampire before will be revived because of the blood of the four of you, but it is also stated here that the four of you will also kill him."
Seriously? When did I become a vampire killer?
"That's absurd. Why would we revive a dead person? Especially if we know it's dangerous. Can't we think in the prophecy?" I said, frowning.
"According to the oracle you girls will be force."
"Do you think we can really beat this so called most fearsome vampire? I can't do anything, lolo. I can't still follow the vampire speed and I can't feel any powers within me. What's your basis that I am one of the girls in the prophecy?"
Maybe they're just mistaken.
"You are, because Kaizer recognized you," Travis quickly answered.
"Is that all? You can't just rely the whole sake of your empire on me. I am just a bitten vampire and I don't have any ability to protect anything. I don't have any idea in this world. Can't I just live like a simple vampire?" I argued.
"We won't startle you, apo, we will slowly introduce you to your new world."
I stood up and nodded slowly to my grandfather, as well as to His Highness, who I knew had been watching me for a while.
"Maybe this conversation will end here for now. I have decided to stay here for a week? I still want to know a lot, but for now, I need to remember some of what we talked about. Because the moment I add more, I might not understand it even more. You can go back to Wisteria, I can come back with my grandfather," I said to the three brothers.
"You two," His Highness said coldly to Randall and Travis.
"Yes," his two brothers quickly answered.
"You take care of her, as well as your brother."
Randall and Travis both nodded. His Highness just stared at me for a few seconds before he disappeared like a bubble from my eyes.
"I need to see my library, hija."
I just smiled at my grandfather before he completely disappeared from my sight as well.
"What are we going to do here, Travis?" I heard Randall ask.
"Watch porn? Kaizer is the star."
I just rolled my eyes at Travis's lazy answer.
"Can we watch? The prince of snow might blind us."
I didn't listen to the two brothers anymore and went out of the room to find out where Kaizer Alaric Lancaster went.
'Kaizer...'
'Kaizer, where are you?'
'Now, you wanted to live here?'
I just rolled my eyes. He can hear me after all. Damn.
'No, I will just stay for a week.'
'Then, what do you think I'm going to do for the whole week inside this boring mansion?'
'I am here, Kaizer'
I'm already pouting at my answer to him.
'Then? What if you're here?'
'Kaizer, I told you. I'm sorry...'
He didn't answer me anymore. I just continued walking until I saw Kaizer sitting on the long terrace of the mansion where you could see the vast maze full of white roses.
"You're mad," I said to him softly. "Aren't you going to talk to me? I am sorry. I'm sorry, Kaizer..."
He remained silent.
"Kaizer..."
I got closer to him, but he remained looking into the distance and didn't look at me behind him. Damn.
"Kaizer, I am thirsty..." I whispered softly.
I saw him sigh at what I said.
"Come here."
He grabbed my hand and I quickly found myself on his lap. I also felt his hand on the back of my neck to bring my fangs closer to his neck.
"Now drink, I'll just get mad later."
