Chapter 209: Catherine Is the True Queen of the Ring
The motorcycle stopped near Heritage Storage Depot.
Catherine tossed the keys in her hand to Dubhe and strode toward the air-raid shelter deep in the reeds.
"Boss, there are still about a hundred people left from Blade of Dusk, but they don't accept Emilia. They want Emilia to win a boxing match before they'll listen to her. Isn't this crazy?"
"I checked our boxing ring schedule. There are several champions fighting soon. How can Emilia possibly handle that!"
Someone like Emilia, with those skinny arms and legs, could she really fight in the ring?
Dubhe felt that if she went up there, the Hughes family might as well declare themselves completely wiped out.
But the underworld had its own way of thinking and choosing leaders.
Catherine walked firmly in the Doc Martens Aurora had bought her.
"If those Blade of Dusk people prepared ahead and arranged their own fighters in the ring, Emilia would be done for!"
"Just let her fight me."
Dubhe was stunned: "What?"
Catherine turned around, looked at him calmly, and raised an eyebrow: "Is there a problem?"
Actually, there wasn't.
Catherine had been the reigning champion of the boxing ring for years. If she was willing to fight, it wouldn't matter how many people Blade of Dusk tried to arrange!
Dubhe jogged to catch up with Catherine and stopped beside Emilia.
"Come on, let me show you."
"To the boxing ring?"
"Yes."
Emilia was a bit excited. She'd never been to an underground boxing place before!
Dubhe drove Catherine and Emilia toward the boxing ring. Hidden among the tall reeds, taller than a person, was an underground boxing arena that never saw daylight.
Catherine turned to look at Emilia, who seemed both excited and scared, her gaze cold.
"Forgot to tell you, Maurice couldn't be saved. Michael and Anthony are barely alive. They might not make it, and even if they recover, they'll be executed."
"The fire was ruled an accident. No one will come after you."
"You did well, but don't risk yourself for people who aren't worth it again."
Emilia blinked, hiding the tears in her eyes. She'd decided to fix this crying problem of hers!
"I got it!"
As soon as they entered the boxing ring area, Catherine handed Emilia a mask.
Catherine said flatly: "Put it on. Don't let people inside remember your face."
Underground fighters were people who'd do anything for money. The underground ring was full of desperate criminals who'd gone crazy with bloodlust. Once they remembered your face, the chance of being hunted down later was very high.
Even Catherine wouldn't show her face at the ring to avoid trouble, let alone Emilia in her dangerous situation.
Emilia quickly put on the mask, feeling a bit surprised.
Why did she get the feeling this wasn't Catherine's first time here?
Catherine wore a somewhat terrifying demon mask. The demon showed its fierce side to everyone, completely mismatched with Catherine's temperament, yet somehow fitting!
The boxing ring was noisy with gamblers shouting for the fighters to kill each other so they could win more money!

The pre-arranged VIP room had a huge screen where they could clearly see every movement in the ring.
Catherine turned to look at the obviously nervous Emilia.
"Are you sure you want to fight?"
"If I'm not sure, what choice do I have? If I go down there, what are my chances of coming out alive?"
Catherine said coldly: "Zero. No chance at all. You'll definitely die."
Emilia swallowed: "What about not a death match? Just the kind where you stop when it's enough?"
"Your body is too weak, and you're still injured. Even if the fighter holds back, you'll still die."
The underground ring was about betting money and lives, basically trading lives for money.
Catherine adjusted her mask more securely and took off her hair tie, handing it to Emilia: "Hold this for me."
The hair tie George gave her—she didn't want to get it dirty while fighting.
Casually tying her hair with a hair band, Catherine rolled her wrists, her gaze behind the mask calm and composed.
"Wait for me. I'll show you what underground boxing really means."
Emilia held the hair tie, looking at Catherine who seemed to be glowing: "Catherine, you're going to fight?"
It looked so dangerous out there!
Catherine looked at their similar builds. Would she really be okay going out there like this?
"Give me half an hour."
Dubhe was shocked: "Half an hour? You're going to fight a gauntlet?"
Catherine's skill level meant she didn't need half an hour for one fight!
Catherine nodded casually: "I need to beat them all down to make sure I'm the only one fighting Emilia."
"Yes, I'll arrange it right away."
Inside the octagon cage, a gauntlet match flag was quickly hung up. The crowd outside erupted!
Emilia watched the video screen as the girl who'd been so gentle with her just moments ago seemed to become a different person after putting on the mask and entering the ring!
Every punch Catherine threw hit her opponent's weak spots, flesh hitting flesh. Even through the screen, Emilia felt the shock and pain. The gamblers below were red-eyed, constantly shouting!
"Monkey, kill her!"
"Kill this Monkey from Northern Myanterra!"
In just five minutes, the fighter codenamed Monkey was face-down on the ground, dragged out.
The next fighter quickly entered, giving Catherine no time to rest.
Emilia felt worried, looking at Dubhe beside her: "Is Catherine really okay?"
"Catherine's record is a gauntlet of fifteen people. Tonight's still young!"
It had been so long that people at the ring had forgotten Satan's reputation. New fighters kept coming up, getting beaten down one by one in front of Emilia!
Catherine on stage still looked fine, looking at the fighters below and making a provocative gesture.
"Come on."
The fighters below were furious, but not one dared to go up!
She had completely dominated them. Catherine stood on stage, her gaze sharp with killing intent, like an ice peak. The boxing ring behind her had become her stage at this moment, and no one could steal her spotlight!
Emilia was amazed!

"I don't know how to punch. What do I do?"
Catherine's voice carried no emotion, coldly saying: "Emilia, imagine I'm Maurice, Anthony, and your dad—all the murderers who killed your mom. Right now, I'm all of them."
Catherine's gaze was piercing, carrying a burning intensity hot enough to scorch.
"Come on. Now tell me, can you punch or not?"
