Just as I was about to step out of my room to have breakfast, I turned to Anna who had been standing right next to me, following me closely like a loyal servant.
“Anna!” I called out as I turned to her.
“Yes Luna”
“Remember your mother was very close to the royal house back then before the death of the Alpha”
“She was just an omega, you father was the only one that treated her as human”
“Exactly, but you do recall that meeting my father and the Alpha had that day before his death right, I recall that both of us had been having fun that day when you were instructed to go attend to them right?”
“Yes, that is true. But why are we even talking about that now?”
“Nothing, there was just a few memories I recall, I mean I missed the way things were then”
“But things are still beautiful now, look at you, you are the proven Luna, soon you can choose one of the Alpha's as your fated mate or even decide to get rid of all of them”
This time, her eyes were pinned at me, as if trying to ascertain my reaction in the situation but I smiled at her.

“Know what? I thought we had a plan?” Her eyes peeled with curiosity and I liked how shameless she looked when she asked such questions.
“I am starting to get more fond of Dante, don't know yet because I think he is having an affair with someone else, do you think that you can help me find out who she is?”

At the table, the three Alphas were already there, just seeing them.made me instantly wet again down there and from the way Lucien had started at me. It was obvious he had smelled my arousal.
“Luna!” Silas called out with a smile on his face and I smiled back while Anna began to serve my food on the ceramic plate.
“You know that you have a meeting with the Council right?” Dante asked, peaking glances at Anna, although it wasn't noticeable, but I could tell what was going on.
“Of course. Anna here already brief me about it”
“You should also try to meet with the generals wives today, I think it would also give you a feet here”
“I don't think I will be needing that much feet since I would be leaving after a year” I reminded them of our contract as I shoved a large chunk of meat inside my mouth.
The air around the dining table suddenly grew quiet. I cracked my throat and was ready to be involved in a conversation knowing that I would have to speak more to get more information.
“So I hear this used to be the late Alpha favorite spot for study while he was alive right?” No doubt that my question had caught them unaware especially since this was not the angle they had expected me to ask about.
“Yes.” Dante responded.
“Good thing this was not the same spot where he was poisoned. Else it would seem like it was karma” I let out the words again and this time. I gave out a cold laugh.
The three brothers all stared at each other with a perplexed look on their face before returning their gaze to me.
“Ria! This is the spot where our father died, besides why are you suddenly so interested in it lately?” Silas asked, there was a frown on his face and so was Lucien and Dante.
“I lost my father after the Alpha death, you won't blame me because each time I think about my father, sometimes the image of the Alpha just pop in”
I lowered my head, trying to put an emotional spot. I didn't know I was so good at this seeing how it had immediately eased the tension around.
“Sorry you had to think about that and I know we have apologized before. But I still sorry about how we had treated you after the death of your father, we were just following the traditions of the pack”
Lucien explained calmly and I nodded my head. “It's fine. I clearly understand.”
I wipe my lips. Rose to my feet with their gaze still fixed at me. “I expect to see all three of you in my room today after the meeting, I am in my heat and you all needs to perform your duties”
I winked at no one in particular and started walking out of there with Anna following behind, but her gaze was still on me. Like there was something on my face.
“What is it Anna?”
“Nothing Luna. Just that you look so excited as if to say this is going to be the first time you get to have sex with the all three Alphas”
“Not the first time, but today is going to be special, It going to be so wild that none of them would ever look at any other woman ever again”
I had said those words to get on her nerves and was so stunned to see that indeed it worked, she came to an abrupt halt, almost drifting into daze.
“What is it Anna?” I also stopped as I turned to stare at her. The fact that my words were getting to her was enough satisfaction for me.
