Home
Arabelle suddenly remembers her mom and sister which made her miss them. It seems like her mind is messing with her now that she got back her memories. She swears she heard Amie's voice calling for her. It's the first time it happened since she left home to look for the things she needed for the spell. She never thought that she would end up learning that it's better to use potions. It's more effective breaking curses according to the warlock. She wants to try using the potion to break the curse as soon as possible.
She can't help but to worry about Amie being alone to care for their mom. Being young, she must be having a hard time. The only thing she can do right now is to go back home soon. Unfortunately, she doesn't think she can be home today. After going through the barrier of energy, it seems that they ended up in a different place. It looks like they are now inside a cave but not in their world. doesn't look like it was upside down like normally. It's also too bright even if it should be pitch black.
“I don't think we're back to our world.” Justin exclaimed.
“What place is this?” Arabelle asked, confused.
“It looks like a cave but it's too organized to be one.” Armand replied as if talking to himself.
“This place feels familiar but different at the same time.” Ralph shared his thoughts with his friends.
“Let's explore the place then!” Justin suggested.
They seem to agree with Justin's idea to explore. That's the only way they will know where they are. They all decided to just get out of the cave first. Once they find the way out of it, they can start exploring the place. Even a werewolf seems to be lost with them. He's supposed to be good with tracking anything or anyone. The problem is, they are not looking for someone. Ralph is also trying to find the exit but even a vampire is having a hard time.
Arabelle tries to help them find the way out and look for any signs. It's bright inside the cave so maybe the way out is the dark part. She could be wrong but they all need to work together. That's the best way to do so that they can all get out of the cave. Justin is running back and forth in his werewolf form. He needs to use all of his werewolf senses to get out. Although nothing seems to work and the cave is too big for a human to walk around.
“My theory is that the exit should be dark since it's bright here.” Arabelle suggested to them.
“That's a good theory. Let's try looking for a dark opening then.” Ralph replied and told the other two.
It's a good suggestion so they all look for the dark opening that might just be hiding on plain sight. Armand just walk straight and surprisingly found the dark exit. They all followed him so that they could finally escape the unusual cave. Outside is another forest that seems to be more familiar with Ralph. He suggested for them to go left and they all agree. It's better to explore and learn more about the place. That may help them go home faster.
The more they get deeper in that forest, the more familiar it's becoming for Ralph. As if he's been here all the time and knows which way to go. He got excited and walked faster. It's getting more familiar to him so he just followed his instincts. After walking for a few minutes, the tower of a castle can be seen from afar. Arabelle's heart almost skips a beat now that she recognizes the place. This is the vampire castle which is owned by Ralph and their home.
“We're home guys.” Ralph announced when they reached the castle's backyard and opened the gate.
“I knew it looked familiar!” Arabelle said and felt excited.
Justin and Armand just followed both of them to get inside the gate. They can't believe that they were able to go back to their world. The barrier of energy seems like a way to another dimension. Good thing they were able to reach the human world instead. That's why everything looks familiar to Ralph. It's the same forest he usually hunts when he runs out of blood bags. Although he's not familiar with that cave and didn't know it's even there.
Arabelle is grateful that they are finally back to their world once again. She needs to hurry home to cure her mom as soon as possible. The curse needs to be broken so that her mom will feel better. She doesn't have time to give the other guys a tour of the castle. Ralph seems to notice her being restless even before they can enter the castle. He knows that she needs to go home right now. So, instead of opening the backdoor of his castle, he decided to just deal with the important thing first before they can relax.
“Let's go to Arabelle's place first. She needs to break the curse her mom is under.” Ralph suggested to them.
“Yeah, let's do that first!” Justin and Armand agreed.
“Thanks! I owe you one.” Arabelle whispered to Ralph.
“No need to thank me. I'm just doing the right thing.” Ralph replied and held her hand.
Arabelle didn't reject Ralph's advances but gladly accepted them. How can she deny that she's already falling for him? As much as she wanted to tell him about how she feels, she decided to deal with the curse first. Her mom's life is at stake and she needs to solve that problem first before dealing with her feelings. Although she's happy that they are holding hands as they walk to her house. She's just ignoring the other guys looking at them teasingly. They have an important mission to do.
When they reached Arabelle's home, it looked really gloomy. It's expected since her mom is sick from the curse. While Amie might be too tired to even make a sound. Maybe both of them were sleeping but then they heard her mom screaming from pain. She didn't waste anymore time and bolted inside the house. That's when she saw Amie with dark circles around her eyes. Their mom looks like a living skeleton now screaming. When Amie saw her, she immediately jumped to hug her.
“Thanks for coming back before it's too late.” Amie told her and finally let her tears fall down her cheeks.
“Don't worry, I'm here now. Mom, I promise you will feel better soon.” she said to both of them and the three of them hugged which made the guys emotional.
