Stowaway
Justin and Clyde end up getting hurt from trespassing on the vampire's castle. He has to drag Clyde outside since he's still passed out. It looks like he got a major hit from the vampire. Thankfully, he didn't get hurt as bad as the other werewolf. He promised himself that he will never set foot on that castle ever again. Clyde seems like he's about to wake up. He checks on him hoping that he will be alright. Even though they have been competitors since birth, he doesn't want anything bad to happen to him.
After escaping the castle, he managed to bring him to a clearing with a huge tree earlier. It's a little far away from the vampire's castle so they can rest there. The group of werewolves they brought with them earlier are all gone. Maybe they ran away the moment they saw that the vampire was attacking them. It will be impossible for his father not to know what happened here. He needs to prepare himself to get the punishment he deserves. After all, it was his fault for dragging the others in trouble.
“Clyde, please wake up! We have to get out of here.” Justin tries to get some response from him.
Clyde just moans as if he's still in pain from the vampire's attack earlier.
Justin doesn't know what to do anymore since they were left behind by the group. He can't drag Clyde all the way to the village. It will end up hurting him more aside from his wounds and bruises. He just gave up and also laid down on the grass to rest. It will be bad for sure once he gets home so he should relax for now. What if he just runs away? That idea looks more appealing than to go back and face his father. The problem is, where will he go?
He needs to decide now before Clyde wakes up. If he chooses to go home, it will not be pretty for him. He will never be the new alpha anyway. Clyde seems to fit the role better than him. He looked at him one more time and finally decided. It's better for him to never go home to spare his dad the embarrassment. How can be an alpha if he can't even get a mate? Everything seems to be clear to him now. But he can't just leave a wounded werewolf alone so he started howling to call out for the others.

Arabelle is finally preparing for bed now. It's been a long day for everyone. She's so tired from learning about the chants. Maybe Lily is already sleeping at her house by now. Although Ralph doesn't feel tired, he might still want time for his own thoughts. She doesn't have to feel guilty for her need to rest. Earlier, she called home and Amie told her that their mom seems to be well today. She feels relieved with her news. Although there are days that their mom will suddenly become weak again.
She promised Amie that she will do everything in her power to make their mom well again. They have already been through tough times. She will not let anything bad happen to their mother. Amie seems like she's not worried since she trusts her. Even if her sister didn't say it, she knows that she's depending on her. That's why she needs to do anything to break the curse. Although there are places to go and things to collect for that spell. She will call them again tomorrow and hopes for the best.
“Rise and shine, sleepyhead!” Lily's loud and perky voice echoed around her room.
“What time is it? How did you get in?” She asked, still feeling disoriented.
“It's already 6:00 AM already! You should wake up as early as 3:00 AM for rituals.” Lily bombarded her already.
Arabelle decided to get out of her bed already even if she still doesn't feel like it. She doesn't need to wake up that early even if she's working in the castle. Her boss doesn't care because he's awake during the night. She seems to want to change her mind about Lily as she brushes her teeth. Thankfully, she didn't follow her in the bathroom to bug her about witchcraft. She's grateful that she's teaching her but Lily seems to be boasting her skills too much. It already gets annoying even on their day one.
How did she get inside her room? She always remembers to lock it every night. Maybe she should cast a protection spell to keep her out. She can't help but feel a little guilty for thinking that about Lily. It's them who needs the witch's help so she has to deal with it. When she finished washing her face, she stepped out of the bathroom. Lily is still inside her room roaming around and touching her things. It normally ticks her off but she controls herself and decides to ignore it. Maybe she's just curious.
“Do you want breakfast? Let’s go to the kitchen!” she asked in a convincing tone.
“Can you make pancakes? I would like to have them for breakfast.” Lily replied with a request.
“Of course, I know how to make pancakes. Let's go!” she keeps on trying to make her get out of the room.
“Okay, let's go. Maybe Ralph is still up.” Lily suddenly rushed to get out of her room
All she can do is to smile even though she's already feeling annoyed early in the morning. She followed Lily who seems to be in the kitchen already. Like what she did to her room earlier, she's started touching everything around. She suddenly remembers what she read from the book. It says that witches will touch several things in the house when she's doing a spell. But she forgot what spell it was. Good thing she remembers how to counter it. She only needs to wipe everything she touches. A cloth soaked in water with salt will undo that trick.
