Chapter 42 - Blessed with Two Mates

I looked around to see Kiera pacing the room. She’s been up since five in the morning waiting for Kane and Dalton to arrive. I can tell her Lycan is on the surface as well. It’s hard for both of them not to be with their mates. I remember when I left Colin to find my father. I needed help with my anger and every minute I was away from Colin I felt like I was losing a piece of myself, until I had Xavier. But Kiera has two mates, which makes it even harder for her. I see five SUVs pull up and Kiera goes outside. We followed her out. A man steps out and I recognize him as Alpha Jace. Alpha Jace is a tall, strong built young man

“Your highness, I am Alpha Jace. It’s a pleasure to meet you” Alpha Jace bows his head in respect.

“Alpha Jace, thank you very much for coming” Kiera says.

“It’s my pleasure and honor to be here and be able to help in whatever way I can, your highness. This is my Gamma Geovani and I brought ten of my best warriors”, Alpha Jace says, and they all bow their heads.

“It’s very nice to meet you all. This is Mrs. River, her mate Mr. Tristan and Mr. Koslov, Mr. Manny and his mate Kesha, Mrs. Angel and her mate Colin. These are my Betas Jazmine and Marisol, Gamma Guillermo, and Princess Monica”, Kiera introduces.

“Welcome”, I smiled.

“It’s nice to meet you all” Alpha Jace bows his head in respect.

“Please come on in. I had my Omegas prepare rooms for you all, but I also have some cabins available. You may choose what you would like. Each cabin has three bedrooms”, Kiera says.

“The rooms here are fine, your highness” Alpha Jace says.

“Okay, I will have one of my Omegas show you to your rooms, then you can come down and have some breakfast” Kiera said. I see Kiera’s eyes glaze over and not long after, Tina, one of our Omegas, shows up. As soon as Tina showed up, Alpha Jace stiffened and his head snapped towards Tina.

“Mate” Alpha Jace growled, making Tina stop in her tracks. She looked like a deer caught in headlights. I could see her eyes dilate before bowing her head. Alpha Jace walks towards Tina and pulls her into a hug. Tina squeaks but returns Alpha Jace’s hug.

“I found you. I finally found you”, I heard Alpha Jace murmur to Tina. Alpha Jace pulls back and looks at Tina.

“B-but I’m an Omega, Alpha” Tina stutters.

“I don’t care about your rank. The moon goddess made you just for me. You are mine and I will love you and protect you for as long as I live and after”, Alpha Jace said.

“I’m really happy you found your mate Tina. I know you’ll want to get to know your mate more, so I will get someone else to show them to their quarters”, Kiera said.

“No need my queen. I can show them to their quarters and then I’ll get to know my mate”, Tina said with a blush.

“Thank you Tina” Kiera said. Tina bowed her head and left with her mate and his or, I should say, their pack members. Kiera’s head snapped to the right. I followed her gaze and saw Kane and Dalton making their way to the castle.

“Your highness”, Kane and Dalton bowed their heads in respect. Kiera gave them a nod. I could see Kiera looking at the camera. I knew she wanted to see right away what they saw, but she also knew that they were tired and hungry.

“Come and eat” Kiera said.

“Are you sure? We can-” Kiera stopped Dalton by raising her hand.

“I’m sure. You need to eat first”, Kiera said. Kane and Dalton nodded and went inside. We all went inside to have breakfast. Alpha Jace’s pack began to join us. Not long after, Alpha Jace joined us. I watched Kiera as she pushed around half of her eaten food.

‘Kiera, are you okay?’ I linked her, making her eyes snap to mine.

‘Yes, I was just thinking’ she linked back.

‘I know you miss them, but you need to stay strong for them. You need to be one hundred percent to fight’. I link her.

‘You’re right. It’s just… I want to get this over with. I want them back, but I also know that I can’t just rush in blind’, Kiera says, and I nod.

‘Let them finish eating and then we can see the camara’, I told her and she nodded. She continues to eat. After she finished eating, we all headed to the living room. Dalton connects the camera to the TV and presses play. Everything was black at first, but then a bunch of tents came into view. You could see Kiera’s eyes glowing.

“There must be over a hundred tents there” Alpha Jace says.

“Give or take. Your mom’s GPS showed she’s here”, Kane says, pointing to a building.

“That’s the only building that we saw. Everything else are tents and they are in the middle of the dark forest”, Dalton said. The video is paused, then Kane shows us some blueprints.

“The building looks small, but they have a very large basement. This is the layout”, Kane said. Kiera looks at it, her eyes still glowing. She then looks at the TV.

“I want a copy of that video. Also, do you think you can draw or tell me the route you took? I want to make sure that we take the same or close to the same route. I will draw the layout of this place and where you started”, Kiera pointed to the TV. Kane nodded.

“You two get some rest. Everyone else get ready for training”, Kiera says. Everyone leaves, but she grabs the control and presses play. I know she needs this time for herself, so I decided to go to the training ground to get started on our training. I just hope that we get my son, Benny, Jennifer, and everyone else out safe.

The other two Alphas, Alpha Brawn from the Mystic Pack and Alpha Peter from the Stone Pack showed up, each with their top ten warriors and their Gammas. I showed them to their quarters before deciding to have a barbeque for dinner. I explained to them everything that happened. I then showed them the layout of the video Kane had sent me. I have watched that video more than a hundred times.

“So, this is the south part and here is the building. The GPS my mother is wearing lead Kane to this building and it’s where I believe the king and the royal Gamma along with my mother and the other captives are being held. I have watched the video more than a hundred times and I can tell you that most of their people are here, here, and here”, I said, pointing to the areas on the south border, east border, and by the building.

“I say we enter from the North and the West borders” I said, pointing to the two places on which I had drawn.

“When do we leave my Queen?” Alpha Peter asked.

“I know everyone here is exhausted, so I want you all to rest tonight. Tomorrow morning we will train and tomorrow night we set out” I replied.

“Tomorrow night is the blood moon. Don’t you think we should do this tonight?” Monica asked.

“I know tomorrow is the blood moon, which is why I chose to do it tomorrow. Everyone is going to be busy getting whatever it is they need to get ready. They won’t be expecting us at us” I said and they all nodded. I could see them all looking at the layout I had drawn, probably memorizing it. We had some hamburgers, hotdogs, different types of salads, and some dessert. I got to know the Alphas and their pack members. Afterwards, Kane showed me the path he took to get to the dark forest. Everything in me wanted to just go, but I knew I couldn’t do this alone, not if I wanted to keep myself and my pups safe. I needed my pack and our allies.

One of the pack members brought a Bluetooth speaker and connected his phone to it. Music played through the speaker and pack members began to get up and dance. I watched from afar as they ate, laughed, joked around, and danced. Some even playfully spar. I couldn’t help but smile at my pack and allies. I was so blessed; I had a wonderful grandma, a incredible and loving dad, I have two mates, a wonderful pack, and amazing allies. Not to mention I have pups growing in my belly.

“You should join them” I heard Kane say from behind me. I didn’t turn to look at him. I just continue to look at them.

“It doesn’t feel right” I admitted. He places a hand on my shoulder.

“I know what you mean. I feel the same way. When your mom’s GPS stopped, I wanted to just go in and get my mate, but I knew it wasn’t the right thing to do. I could get myself killed along with everyone else. Just… have faith, Kiera” Kane said. Not knowing what to say, I just nodded my head.

“I brought you this. I thought you might be hungry”, Kane said, handing me a plate. My stomach growled loudly as I saw the food. He chuckled and handed me the plate and a Powerade.

“Thank you Kane”, I smiled and took a seat on one of the chairs. Kane joined the others and I began to eat my food, but something hit me. I don’t know if my mates and mother have had any food and here I am eating two hamburgers, potato salad, and corn on a cob. Immediately I lost my appetite and set my food down.

‘I’m going to head up to rest. Do you have this handled?’ I linked Mrs. Angel.

‘Go ahead honey. We got this’ she linked back.

‘Thank you. Good night’, I said, then closed the link and made my way to my room. As soon as I was in my room, I took a shower and when I finished I got dressed in my pajamas. I grabbed one of Xavier’s shirts and one of Benny’s shirts and laid down on the bed. I laid on the bed and brought their shirts to my nose, taking in their scent. Ari whimpers and tears began to burn my eyes. Not wanting to hold back any longer, I let out a painful howl. Not long after, I heard more howls and I cried myself to sleep.
