Chapter 41 - Blessed with Two Mates

I woke up with a splitting headache. I remember everything that happened and my Lycan growls in my head. I get up and go to the bathroom. I do my morning routine and quickly get dressed in gray and fuchsia leggings and a gray sports bra. I looked at myself in the mirror and realized that my belly was starting to show. A small smile made it’s way to my lips as I gently rubbed my small belly.

“Don’t worry babies. I will make sure your daddies come home safe”, I said softly. I grabbed a loose tank top and put it on. After putting on my sneakers, drinking the potion, Mrs. Yashira gave me to keep my babies safe, and putting my hair in a braid, I made my way downstairs. When I got to the kitchen, I saw Mrs. Yashira, Mr. Gabriel, Mrs. River, Mr. Tristan. Mr. Koslov, Mrs. Angel, Mr. Colin, the Betas Jazmine and Marisol, Gamma Guillermo, Monica, Emma, Dalton, Benny’s parents were here as well, and Kane. Emma was the first to notice me and ran towards me. I picked her up placing her on my hip.

“Good morning your highness”, one of the Omegas bowed her head and handed me a large cup of orange juice.

“Good morning”, I smiled and took the cup of juice. Everyone else turned to look at me. I could see how exhausted everyone was.

“Good morning. Anything new?” I asked.

“The GPS stopped moving, which means your mom stopped moving. The signal is still strong” Kane said.

“How far is it?” I asked.

“About an hour and a half from here” Gamma Guillermo replies.

“Okay, so what are we waiting for?” I asked.

“We don’t have visuals in there. We can’t go in blind, your highness” Mrs. Angel said.

“Then what do you suggest?” I asked.

“We will wait until night time and have Kane fly. Maybe someone else can ride on his back and take video of the place so we can know what we are facing” Mrs. River said.

“Then we can look at the video and form a plan” Mr. Tristan said. I see others nodding their heads in agreement.

“Okay, but please get some rest. You all look as bad as I feel” I said, making them chuckle.

“Since the others are going to rest, I will be the one training you today”, Mr. Koslov said. I nodded and finished drinking my juice and put Emma down. Everyone went their different ways while I made my way to the training ground with Mr. Koslov. Once we got to the training grounds, we both stepped in the ring and neither of us made a move. We began to circle each other in assessment. I refuse to make the first move. He realizes this and lunges for me and throws a right hook at my face. I move out of the way, but he catches me in the ribs with his left jab. Goddess I was glad I took the potion so I don’t have to worry about my pups being hurt. I noticed that the pack members that were training had stopped and were now watching us.

I immediately go in for my attack. He dodges my first two punches, but I get him in the hip with a good kick. He staggers and I use his loss of balance to my advantage. I got him in a headlock, but with Mr. Koslov, I know this is anything but over. He throws himself back to land on top of me and rolls out of my grasp. This goes on for about twenty more minutes. We pinned one another, jabs, punches, pretty sure he had a broken nose and a couple of broken ribs. I knew I did, but I could already feel Ari healing me. I decided it was time to finish this and put him in a sleeper hold by wrapping my arm around his neck, locking it with my other arm grasping his head and wrapping my legs around his back to hold his legs down and out of the way until he taps out. He realizes I had one and taps out.. We both lay on the grass and chuckled.

“Nice, that was a good fight” he tells me. I got up and helped him up, but I didn’t miss his eyes going to my belly. His eyes snapped to mine and he growled lowly. I know what he’s thinking.

“They are fine. Mrs. Yashira gave me a potion to protect them while I train and for the fight that’s coming”, I quickly said, before he could say anything.

“Are you sure?” he asked.

“I would never put my pups in harms way. She knew I was going to ask for help to protect them during this mess. So she had already made the potion. You can ask her yourself if you like. But I assure you they are safe”, I said, and he nodded.

“Okay, you should go eat” he said, then left using his vampire speed. I walked back to the castle. I went up to my room. I grabbed some underwear and clothes, then went to go shower. I washed my hair, washed my body, shaved, and washed my body again. I let the hot water relax my muscles. After ten minutes of relaxing, I got out and towel dried myself before getting dressed. I walked downstairs and went to the dining room. I was very hungry, so I grabbed pancakes, bacon, sausage, toast, and avocado. To drink, I grabbed more orange juice. My right side didn’t hurt anymore, which meant that my ribs were healed up.

After I ate, I headed to Xavier’s office. I need to go through all the evidence he has. As I’m going through everything, I see that he has a few packs that had been attacked and he recently helped by having Mrs. Yashira puts up some protection spells and helps heal the wounded. Next to each Alpha is their number. I picked up the phone and dialed Alpha Jace. He answers on the third ring.

“Alpha Jace speaking” he said, answering the phone.

“Hello Alpha Jace. I’m Queen Kiera, King Xavier’s, and Royal Gamma Benny’s Mate” I said.

“Oh, hello your highness. I’m sorry we couldn’t make it to the crowning ceremony” Alpha Jace apologizes.

“I understand, but I’m not calling because of that. I’m sure you have heard that the king and royal gamma have been taken” I said.

“Yes, my queen. I heard there was an attack and they are both missing. Is there something I can do to help?” Alpha Jace asked.

“We are going to war. We have no idea how many hunters, ferals, and witches they have on their side-”

“I will be there tonight with my warriors” Alpha Jace said, not letting e finish, but I couldn’t help the smile that made its way to my face.

“Thank you Alpha Jace. I will see you tonight”, I said, and hung up the phone. I called two more Alphas and they also agreed to come and help, which I was very thankful for. They will also arrive tonight. I needed help getting things ready for their arrival, so I linked my Omegas to meet me in front of the castle. They quickly made their way to the front of the castle and I got to explaining.

“We will have three Alphas and some of their warriors coming. I know you are all busy doing your chores, but I need your help getting the available rooms ready for their arrival tonight. If there aren’t that many rooms, then have the available cabins set up as well. I know you have all been worried about your King and Royal Gamma, but I promise you we will get them back” I said.

“Yes, my Queen” they said in unison.

“Lets get started then” I said. I helped the Omegas get the rooms ready and, since we didn’t know how many warriors were coming from each pack, we got the empty cabins cleaned up as well. When I walked into the castle, the others were awake and getting things ready for dinner.

“Where have you been?” Monica asked.

“Helping the Omegas clean the empty rooms and cabins” I said. They looked at me in confusion, so I explained to them what I did.

“I think that’s a good idea since we don’t know how many hunters, ferals, and witches we are dealing with. I will go out and scout the place where your mom’s GPS has stopped, but tomorrow morning we should all train as one before leaving. Everyone needs to be ready for any type of attack”, Kane said, and I nodded in agreement.

“Sounds good. We also need to discuss about feeding that many people. Mr. Gabriel, Mr. Tristan, Mr. Koslov, Mr. Colin, Mr. Manny, and Mrs. River You have all been with this pack for many years and have fought different wars. I would like you all to divide the groups and teach them what you can. Mr. Koslov, your training will be vital to them because they have a few vampires. This fight is not going to be easy, but we need to get everyone back before all hell breaks loose” I said, and I saw them all nod in agreement. After dinner, we walked outside with Kane.

“I don’t know how long it will take me, so please don’t wait up, so I will see you all in the morning and let you know what I see” just then Dalton came jogging.

“Are you ready man?” Dalton asked Kane.

“Ready. Here is the bag and inside is the camara” Kane said, and Dalton nodded. Kane shifts to his black and dark green dragon. Dalton climbs on Kane’s back and holds on tight to his horns. Kane flaps his gins and they are off.

“Thank you all for cooking. I’ll go clean the kitchen. You should all rest. Tomorrow is going to be a long day”. I told them they all bowed their heads and left. I make my way to the kitchen and begin to clean up everything. It helps me to try and not take off behind Kane and find my mates. I know it would be reckless if I did that.

‘I miss them. I really do’ Ari, my Lycan says.

‘I know you do. I miss them too, but soon they will be with us’, I promised. As I’m finishing cleaning the kitchen up, Mrs. Yashira shows up with Angelika. Angelika was carrying a plate.

“We made some chocolate chip cookies” Angelika said, placing the plate on the counter.

“That’s very sweet. Thank you”, I smiled. I noticed that Mrs. Yashira was also carrying a box.

“I will be leaving tonight to take Angelika to a hiding place, but I wanted to give you something. Something Angelika and I both made” Mrs. Yashira says, handing me the box. I opened it and I saw black leather pants with black, cool tone red, with gold pattern flat knee high boots. There was a corset with the same colors, but with more gold patterns. It also had a clock that matches the clothes. It was truly beautiful.

“Wow, this is beautiful” I admitted.

“A warrior Queen should dress the part when she’s going into battle. Don’t worry about the corset, it’s magical so it won’t hurt the babies or you” Mrs. Yashira winked at me.

“Thank you. This is incredible”. I smiled and hugged them both.

“Don’t think I’m abandoning you. I just need to get her to safety before I join the fight. I understood. Angelika is the next high priestess.

“I understand”, I smiled. They both leave and I grab the cookies. I grabbed a cup of milk and sat in the living room. I turned on the TV and began to eat the cookies. I don’t know how long I watched TV for before I was out cold.
