For two weeks now, I've been avoiding Lucas. Ever since that day he confessed to still having feelings for Alice, I couldn't bring myself to face him. Every time I thought about him, my heart felt heavy and my stomach churned with anxiety. I knew that I couldn't keep avoiding him forever, but I didn't know how to face him.

It wasn't just the fact that he was in love with my sister that bothered me. It was the way that he looked at her, the way that he smiled at her, the way that he touched her. I've always felt a connection with Lucas, but I've never acted on it. I've always thought that he was just a friend regardless of my feelings for him. But now I realize that I could no longer keep denying it.

Lucas belongs to me now not her, I probably sound like a selfish bitch right now but I've had eyes on him since childhood.

But as always, Alice take what I want and what should have been mine.

I tried to push the thoughts of Lucas out of my mind, but they kept creeping back in. I would be sitting at work, trying to focus, and I would catch myself daydreaming about him. I would be with Alex and yet the same thing happens

I knew that I needed to talk to Lucas, but I didn't know how to start the conversation. I didn't want to hurt him, but I didn't want to lead him on either. I've never been in this situation before, and I didn't know how to handle it.

Alex walked into my office cutting short my thoughts, with a stern look on his face, and I could tell immediately that something was wrong. He ordered me to follow him, and I tried to remain calm as different thoughts raced through my head. Had I done something wrong? Was I in trouble? I didn't know what to expect.

We walked to the elevator in silence, and Alex had a stoic expression on his face. I tried to ask but he didn't seem interested in talking. I felt like I was walking on eggshells, not knowing what was going to happen next.

We walked out of the building and straight into the car. I still didn't know where we were going or what was happening. The drive was silent, and I felt like I was suffocating under the weight of the unknown.

We arrived at the airport, and I was surprised. I asked Alex where we were going, but he ignored me. I felt like I was in a daze, not knowing what was going to happen next. The silence was deafening, and I felt like I was going to go crazy.

Finally, we arrived at our destination, and I couldn't believe my eyes. We were in another country, and I didn't know what to expect. I asked Alex what was going on, but he ignored me again. I felt like I was in a nightmare, and I couldn't wake up.

I was so confused and scared, and I didn't know what was going on. Alex led me to a private jet, and we boarded it without any explanation. I felt like I was in a movie, and I couldn't believe that this was happening to me.

The flight was long and silent, and I felt like I was going to lose my mind. I tried to ask Alex what was happening, but he continued to ignore me. I felt like I was in a nightmare, and I couldn't wake up.

Finally, we landed, and I couldn't believe where we were. We were in a remote location, and there was nothing around us. I was so scared, and I didn't know what was going to happen next.

Alex led me to a small cabin, and we went inside. He finally spoke, but his voice was cold and distant.

"You thought I wouldn't find out huh?" He roared, urging a quiver out from me.

He stood in the middle of the room, his towering frame filling the space. His eyes blazed with fury, and his muscles bulged with tension. The veins in his neck and forehead stood out, pulsing with the force of his anger. His face was red and twisted into an expression of pure rage.

His fists were clenched tightly at his sides, and he seemed ready to lash out at any moment. His breathing was heavy and labored, as if he was trying to contain the storm of emotion raging inside of him. His entire body seemed to be vibrating with the intensity of his fury.

"You f*cking backstabber!"

His features were sharp and angular, with a chiseled jawline and piercing. It was clear that he was not to be trifled with, and that his wrath was a force to be reckoned with. The air was thick with tension, and it seemed that the slightest provocation could set him off.

He inched towards me a yelp squeaking out from my lips as he pinned me to the wall.

I was absolutely terrified. My heart was racing, and my palms were sweating. I felt like I was going to pass out.

My mind was racing with all sorts of worst-case scenarios. What if he kills me? What if he keeps me captive? What if I never made it out of here alive?

But then how did he find out? I was cautious about everything, how?

"A-lex" I stuttered in-between tears.

"You cheat!" He spat gripping hard on my forearm. "You thought I wouldn't find out!? Huh?" He pinned harder to the wall making me wincing, "You belong to me, I fucking own you." He leaned in to capture my lips.

He bit hard on my lower lip ordering for entrance, a taste of blood mixed with rage, jealousy and power; he powered it all into the kiss.

He devoured me like a tasty meal, till I was almost out of breath before he pulled back.

He pulled back, burning his stare into mine.

Tears that accumulated in the brim of my eyes were already beginning to spill out as my lips quiver in fear.

"I'm sorry" I burst out.

"Sorry?" He sneered gripping my waist.

I give a nod gulping back some set of tears.

He pulled back, "Fucking Moore!" He hiss turning his back at me.

I fidget with my manicured hands gluing my eyes to my stilettos as though they were the most interesting thing to stare at.

Although they were because I'd rather stare as much than to face the worth of the monster standing a few feet away.

"You know what you are? A fucking asset to your greedy hag old man. He sold you to me" he hiss, "And darling, we both know what that means---'

"--What?" The word slipped out.

Sold? What was he talking about?

He chuckled, "That's right. They don't want you, you are nothing but a burden they loath. I did you a favor Evelyn, and this! This is how you repay me" He barked at the last phrase sending waves of shiver running down my back.

I didn't want to believe him even though I know he'd never lie to me about this, and he's right, I am a burden to my parents but selling me off to a psychotic maniac, that's insane and disgusting.

I stood with my lips ajar, tears streaming down my face. My heart felt like it was breaking into a million pieces.

I felt so disappointed and heartbroken. I had always looked up to my Dad, maybe because he isn't as blunt as mum. But now, that image was shattered, and I didn't know what to do.

I couldn't help but think about all the times he had told me that everything's going to be okay and how I'd smile at him and thank him for his little kind words. I thought everything was going to be okay, but now, I realized how wrong I was. I felt betrayed and angry that they had kept this from me.

I tried to hold back my tears, but I couldn't. I was so sad and disappointed that they would stoop so low. It hurt so much.

I didn't know how to deal with my emotions. Should I be angry? Should I be sad? I didn't know what to feel. All I knew was that my heart was aching, and I didn't want to believe it. I just wanted to be alone with my thoughts and my pain.
