Chapter 41. Perilous

Rayen had been Brenda's caller, but he never answered. Not just this time, actually. Rayen cut off all communication with him the moment he abruptly stopped their relationship.

Brenda is not ready to accept it yet. That was still not accepted by the wife. Brenda is genuinely in love with Rayen and does not want to quit their relationship. The girl even had the audacity to dump her former partner in favor of Rayen. Fortunately, Rayen has not yet blocked his number. So, girls can still get in touch with Rayen. Even yet, there is little chance Rayen will read or respond to his message.

Brenda does not give a damn because she wants Rayen, and that is all she really wants.

Why are you being so cruel, Rayen? What went wrong with me? In any case, I do not wish to break up! You are mine!"

Brenda had been expecting Rayen for the last three hours, but he never showed up. Brenda wishes to go there and meet Rayen. But Rayen gave him no response at all to his message. Brenda was still waiting for Rayen to come meet her at the cafe, though, and she was very hopeful.

Until at last someone approached. Brenda's expression brightened considerably. The woman anticipated Rayen's arrival. But his shoulders shrank and the smile on his face disappeared.

"What are you doing here?!" exclaimed Brenda, unwilling to turn to face the man she had never seen before.

Brenda did not seem to like Zack, therefore he did not worry about her attitude. Without getting Brenda's consent, the man kept sitting in front of her.

"Excessive, why are you here? Brenda said, "Go away!" in an attempt to eject Zack, but the man ignored her stern remarks. Zack gave a genuine, heartfelt smile.

"Avoid being sour. You ought to be appreciative since I wish to go with you, who are upset, here."

Brenda gave Zack a really serious look. "I do not require your presence."

"Are you certain? It is been three hours since you arrived? For whom are you waiting? Rayen? Zack queried.

He softly said, "He will not arrive."

"Cease speaking. He exclaimed, "I do not need your opinions!" completely disliking Zack. Nothing at all, Brenda is simply worried that Rayen may show up out of the blue and find her with Zack. Later on, it can become serious.

Brenda never caused Zack any trouble. Nevertheless, the girl had caused him pain. All Zack can say is that he despises it. Rayen, why? In the meanwhile, he feels that he is better than Rayen. But why does Brenda seem so obsessed with that figure? In actuality, it might be challenging to definitively define both love and obsession. Perhaps that was what Zack was experiencing.

"Why hold off on that man? It is obvious he does not love you. He has feelings for another woman."

"What are you trying to say? One more woman? Which woman is it?"

"Zack, stop making things up! Being lied to bothers me!" Brenda is still not convinced by Zack's words.

Once more, Zack simply shrugged his shoulders. Brenda found the look on his face to be incredibly bothersome. Whether or not you want to believe it is up to you. However, it is obvious that this woman is far more attractive than you."

Brenda's heart was growing hotter due to Zack's words, which caused her to burn with envy.

"Oh. More beautiful than I am?" Brenda gave a snort.

"Not possible! Brenda remarked in shock, "Just so you know, nothing can match my beauty. Since she is the most gorgeous, in his opinion. Zack is kind of in agreement with this. Indeed, Brenda is stunning and will remain so in his eyes forever. Zack acknowledged that Sarah was far more attractive than his ex-girlfriend, though.

He was constantly fascinated by Sarah's character. Yes, that is all. Josh truly loves Sarah, which is why Zack will not get very far. He held his cousin in the highest regard for not approaching Sarah.

"You really are gorgeous," I said. Zack grinned and gave Brenda a head rub. The woman is still his ex, no matter what, and he finds it hard to move on. It was hard for him not to be enraged with Rayen for taking Brenda away from him. Is that why Zack is constantly trying to undermine Rayen?

Do you want evidence, then? "I have evidence that Rigen is already involved with another woman," Arga remarked nonchalantly. Without any hesitation, he took a taste of Marsya's beverage.

"Is it true that there is? Are you really planning to witness him with someone else?" This time, Marsya became interested.

Zack gave a nod. "There definitely is. I would never make a claim without evidence. Nevertheless, it is okay if you do not believe it." Zack folded his arms across his torso. The man appeared pompous as he sat calmly.

"Show me the evidence. I would like to observe."

Zack burst out laughing. "So you think I am real?"

Brenda embarrassedly rolled her eyes. "Arga, quit messing about. Leave if there is no proof. I long to be by myself."

Zack stroked his ex's head nervously. Brenda was taken aback by what Zack had done to her.

"Do not hold me, Zack!" Brenda angrily exclaimed.

"Honey, I would like to provide you with an offer."

"What? Make an offer? Alongside you? Not at all! I would prefer not to!" Brenda averted her gaze.

Too lazy to deal with Zack, that is. Brenda did not appreciate Zack's uncontrollable emotions, even though the man was kind. This is among the factors that led the woman to select Rayen over Zack.

Yes, anything. If you would like to help me, I will give you the proof." Zack furrowed his brow.

Yes, this is how Zack gets what he wants so he can be so crafty.

Brenda appeared to pause and consider. The girl wanted to know more about this woman Zack was mentioning. On the other side, he was done with Zack and did not want to interact with him.

Gazing at the expensive watch adorning his wrist, Zack remarked, "I do not have much time, darling."

Brenda inhaled deeply. "Yes, I would like to," Brenda finally answered.

That is all there is to it. We would not have to waste as much time if we had agreed sooner." Brenda felt Zack prod her chin.

Once more, the woman was irritated by Zack's careless touch. Zack reached inside his jacket pocket and removed his phone. Then Brenda received it from the man. When the woman saw the proof that Zack had shown her, her hands curled into fists.

"Ack!"
