Chapter 29 I Like Her

"Coffee, very strong!"

Julissa answered truthfully. There was still a trace of mischief in her voice. "Mr. Lloyd's order. Mr. Yates, is it not to your liking? Then I'll make you another cup. What flavor do you need?"

Martin's mouth twitched. He finally knew what was so interesting about the new maid!? The coffee had salt added to it!

The chili in the kitchen had just been used up, and Julissa might add them all to it for him. Anyway, it was Mr. Lloyd's orders.

Anna wanted to say something, but Mr. Lloyd seemed to be very satisfied with the maid's performance. "You can leave now. You don't have to serve me tonight."

Julissa bowed and left. Anna wanted to stay, but Mr. Lloyd asked her to go out. Although Martin really didn't want to stay this room that only left two men, he wasn't here to gossip.

"Julissa, what do you think of Mr. Yates?" Anna wanted Martin to take Julissa away, and her eyes were full of plans.

Julissa answered truthfully, "Good, not bad!"

"Then are you willing to follow him? With a triple salary, and the position you want the most!" Anna bewitched her and walked in circles in front of her. "You are a smart person. It's better to be Mrs. Yates than working. He is different from D. He's unmarried. It's true that he is a playboy, but he's good to everyone. Isn't this what women want in the end?"

Julissa wanted to laugh. This was probably the real reason why Anna married this man.

"Thank you for your kindness, Mrs. Lloyd. I won't think about it for the time being!" Before Anna get angry, Julissa said. "If you feel lonely, Mrs. Lloyd, you can think about it!"

"You!" Anna was furious, but she had to suppress it. Who knew how Julissa would deal with her now! Damn it, she didn't believe that she couldn't get rid of her!

When she returned to the study to hand Martin coffee, Julissa put on a listening device and went back to her room to eavesdrop!

"What plans? Well, I gave you three months, and there are only two months left. Do you want to postpone it?" Mr. Lloyd said coldly, leaving no room for argument!

"Then let him not be stubborn. The longer the time passes, the more danger there will be. Hurry up and solve it. Don't leave him any chance to breathe."

Julissa felt a buzz in her head. Ever since her father told her that the Shepherd Group was in danger, she thought there was no need for them to fight. Although the banquet was just a business courtesy, D had a lot of helper.

Her father told her as long as Mr. Lloyd show some mercy, he wouldn't fight. It seemed that the Lloyd Group would swallow the Shepherd Group up sooner or later!

"Okay, I know what to do." Martin got up. "By the way, I heard from Jody that you are still investigating the person who kidnapped your maid? D, do you like her?"

Julissa felt her heart skip a beat.

Although Julissa knew that Martin was joking, her heart was beating uncontrollably again. Mr. Lloyd did not answer, but it was even more fatal, especially when Martin added, "I understand. Good luck!"

Julissa was confused.

What did he mean? Did he take a fancy to her?

"Juli! Maid! Won't you see me off?" Martin went out of the study and called Julissa.

Julissa pretended not to hear, but Martin asked again, "Which room do you live in? Please lead the way!"

Julissa destroyed the listening device. Her intuition told her that if she did not send this guy out of the villa today, he would not let her have peace.
