Chapter 28 Asking for a Maid

Martin Yates was a good friend of Mr. Lloyd. Julissa had almost seen all the members of Mr. Lloyd's trusted group except for the last computer genius.

When Anna saw Martin coming, she smiled brightly like a flower. She didn't care about the teasing at all. "Martin, have a seat." As she spoke, she looked at Julissa viciously. "Julissa, what are you waiting for? Make a cup of herbal tea for Mr. Yates!"

Anna became excited. She was determined to let Martin taste the herbal tea.

Before Julissa could move, Mr. Lloyd asked, "Why are you here?"

Martin seemed to be bewitched by Anna and did not reply to Mr. Lloyd. Instead, she went straight to Julissa.

Julissa did not like this feeling, as if she were a product of a rich family. Although Martin could, she was still unhappy, especially since Martin was famous for his lecherousness!

Before entering the villa, her father had told her that Mr. Lloyd had replaced many maids, and Martin gave a great contribution!

"You're Julissa, the new maid hired by D? Elegant name. How about I call you Juli in the future?" Julissa Martin raised her chin and tried to flirt with her.

Julissa took a step back and said, "Thank you for your kindness, Mr. Yates. D calls me Julissa. I think you should call me like this."

Martin would be beaten up if he was not good-looking, but her facial features were not inferior to Mr. Lloyd. He was romantic and charming. Even if he flirted with her, one would not feel offended. Instead, one would have an inexplicable throb.

He was born to be charming!

"Oh, such a bad temper! But I like it!" Martin finally answered Mr. Lloyd, "I came in to see you, but you don't need to. Give her to me!"

He pointed at Julissa.

Julissa narrowed her eyes. Anna was secretly delighted, but she still had to put on the airs of a Mrs. Lloyd. "Mr. Yates, don't take D's maid away every time you come to the villa. It will scare others!"

Julia didn't care at all. "It's simple. As usual, I'll pay them three times their monthly salary! They're living a good life with me. I don't know how happy they are!"

Martin seemed to be trying to embarrass Mr. Lloyd. "I know them better than their previous owners!"

His eyes were filled with deep affection!

Julissa almost threw up! But she couldn't refute for the time being. Instead, she kept calm and listened to Mr. Lloyd. Declan wouldn't be so bored as to give her to Martin like the other maids, would he?

Everyone was waiting for Mr. Lloyd to speak. After finishing the apple that Julissa had peeled, he said, "Make him a cup of coffee. Strong one!"

Julissa seemed to understand his means. "Yes!"

Martin shouted, "What coffee? I want her! Well, this time is an exception?" He had heard that he was injured, so he put down the business to gossip. He was shocked!

Not only did Mr. Lloyd bring a maid to attend a business meeting, but he was also injured?! This was unprecedented. When had he ever brought a female companion to a business meeting? Not to mention this, it was even more impossible for him to be injured!

What the hell were you up to, Mr. Lloyd. Even Merrick was shocked. He had to come here to gossip!

Mr. Lloyd didn't answer him, and Anna gritted her teeth. She knew that D treated Julissa differently!

Julissa came in with coffee and said to Mr. Lloyd as usual, "Mr. Lloyd, if there's nothing else, I'll leave now!"

As he finished speaking, Julia, who couldn't wait to know her cooking skills, spat out the coffee as soon as he took a sip!
