“Rob.. That is his name,” the butler said.
“Oh really? Umm.. I am a bit tired for now, I want to retire to my room, I will deal with the matter tomorrow morning,” Jane said, she was holding the handrail of the stairs as she talked with the butler.
“Very well madam, see you tomorrow, then, excuse me,” the butler said and he left.
Miss. Jane is tired and disappointed by what she just heard from her mother about her family in general. Jane got into the shower, freshened up, put on new clothes, and laid on the bed.
Jane got a phone call from an anonymous again and she knew it was Mike. So she picked up.
“Hello Mike,” Jane said, as she picked up the call.
“Jane, how are you? How did the meeting with your mom go?” Mike asked over the phone.
“Not too nice. Umm.. We need to see, I have to tell you something, it is important, it's about your father, and umm... How about the package? Are you not returning it? I don't want police officers raiding my house tomorrow,” Jane said.
“Okay, so will give you an address where we can meet and discuss,” Mike said. He ended the call.
Mason was with him when he made the call and he asked “I am still asking, is that the arcade necklace? Or something else? Infect did you steal it?” Mason asked.
“No, I did not steal it. It is a fake, the real one is still at the Diamond store untouched, it was a trick,” Mike replied.
“How?” Mason asked. He was shocked and confused at the same time.
“Look, let me explain, I knew that Jane loves that arcade diamond necklace because I have been stalking her for some while now. When she requested it, I learned it was time, so I called my partner from prison Jason to create a fake diamond necklace and mail it to her, when she got the mail, Jason dressed as a police officer and he visited Jane and Jane was afraid. Now she knows that I can do anything for her, because what I did, I gained her trust, It's now time for me to strike, also it coated me, a piece of diamond for Jason,” Mike said.
“Wow, that is unbelievable,” Mason said.
“Yeah, after all these, we wait for our results,” Mike said.

When Officer Ruby left the Mason store, after a quick look around, she got to the precinct, she quickly went to Officer Joe’s office, to check up on him.
Officer Ruby got to Joe’s office and she saw him and Inspector Eric sitting and they were watching the content of the drive that Mike gave Officer Joe.
“What are you guys doing?” Officer Ruby asked.
Officer Joe paused the video he turned and looked at Ruby and said “We are watching the content of the drive, it uploaded completely last night, have a seat,”. Officer Ruby sat down, while Officer Joe replayed the whole footage.
“Wait, it is a video of police Commissioner Reynold when he was kidnapped by Mike right?” Officer Ruby asked.
“Yeah, now watch this,” Officer Joe said. He then played the video.
Officer Joe, Officer Ruby, and Inspector Eric watched and listened attentively to what police commissioner Reynold said when he was asked questions by Mike when he was kidnapped.
They saw how proud he was when he admitted the crimes he had committed, and the police officers were shocked. “I can't believe this,” Officer Ruby said.
They finish watching the video. “What are we going to do now?” Inspector Eric asked.
“We have gotten our evidence but we need some more evidence to persecute police commissioner Reynold but that doesn't mean Mike is off the hook, he is still wanted and he will be arrested, but for now, let us solve the root problem,” Officer Joe said.
“Okay I agree with you but do you have any?” Officer Ruby asked.
“Yes I think I do, the old files that have newspapers talking about the event that happened, tears ago, we can work on that,” Officer Joe said.
“Alright, let me see what I can find in my workspace,” Inspector Eric said. He left Officer Joe's office. Leaving Ruby behind.
Officer Ruby was about to go, but Officer Joe drew her back and said “We need talk to about us,”. She sat down.
“Umm... I wanted to let you that…,”
“That you like me, right?” Officer Ruby asked, she interrupted what Officer Joe wanted to say.
“Yes, guess you already know, so what do you think about it?” Officer Joe asked. Officer Ruby was just smiling.
“Yes I already know, because I feel the same for you, it is like your crush is crushing on you,” Officer Ruby said. She laughed and both of them held hands and looked at each other.
“So would you like, to be my girlfriend?” Officer Joe asked with a smile on his face.
“Yes, of course I will and I need to tell you something,” Officer Ruby said.
“What is that?” Officer Joe asked.
“Umm... After this case, I... I will retire from the police force, and it won't make sense if we are still in the same police force, I am just saying because we are going to have kids together, and I want to be with them, what do you think about it?” officer Ruby asked. She laid out the plan, for her and Officer Joe.
Officer Joe was very happy and he said “Yes, I agree with you,”. They both hugged.
BACK TO PRESENT.
That night Jane got a message from Mike about where they were going to meet.
The following day.
Jane got up early, so she could meet Mike and return the fake diamond that she thought was real. Jane put the package in her handbag.
She was stopped by her father. “Young Lady, where are you going?” billionaire Andrew asked.
Jane was a bit scared but she kept her cool. “I am going to see a friend, do you want me to do anything?” Jane asked.
“Not just checking on you,” billionaire Andrew said.
The Butler came in and said, “Pardon my intrusion, but Miss. Jane, I just wanted to remind you that the interview for the Secretary role, is by noon,”.
“Thank you, you can go,” Miss. Jane said. The Butler left.
“What secretary?” billionaire Andrew asked.
“Oh, I forgot to tell you. I am about to employ a secretary, so he can help me with some work in a charity program happening in three days, he can also help you,” Jane said.
“Alright, let me when he is here, for the interview,” billionaire Andrew said. He went back to his chamber.
Jane meets Mike in the park. Mike was still in his disguise. “Why did you do that?” Jane said she gave Mike back the package.
“To show you how serious I am, and I think you can trust me now, so how did the meeting with your mom go?” Mike asked.
“Great but I need to tell you something,” Jane said.
“And what is that?” Mike asked.
“My mom wants to see you, she said she has something to tell you, this is the address,” Jane said. She gave Mike a mom's address written on a piece of paper.
“Alright, I will, but what about your charity program?” Mike asked.
“Umm... In three days,” Jane replied.
Mike smiled.
