Chapter Forty Two

When the guests finally left and Bethany went to retire to bed Kenneth's mischievous smile came to play.

"I wasn't joking you know. Now let's actually party like the young people we are. There's a club I know nearby. Let's go celebrate there."

"A club?" David asked, a little unsure. "Are you sure that's a good idea? We've been drinking and dancing all night. Shouldn't we just go home and get some rest?"

"Nonsense!" Kenneth said, shaking his head. "We're still young and full of energy. And besides, the night is still young. Come on, live a little!"

"I don't know..." David said, looking at Clive for support. But Clive only shrugged and said, "I'm up for it if you are."

With that, the decision was made. They were going clubbing.

They all went to change. Changing into casual clothes and they put away the traditional clothes they had on for the wedding.

Naomi stood at the doorway of her bedroom with Kenneth.

" I don't really feel like going out Ken."

Kenneth was now a little worried about Naomi. " Are you actually okay? You've been out of it for a while now. I can stop all this. We'll just be here together. We can watch tv or something."

Naomi shook her head.

" No I actually really want to stay at home for a while. I'm fine. I promise. Go have fun with your cousin and his new husband."

The club they went to was the one closer to them. Called 'Club Century'. It was packed.

David was a little scared of the fullness of the club. Clive reassured him. " I'm here don't worry. We'll actually have fun."

And with that, they entered the club. The music was loud, the lights were flashing, and the people were dancing. David was a little overwhelmed at first, but as they made their way to the bar, he started to relax.

They all got a drink and found a place to sit. The three of them sat in a booth, watching the people dance. It was a strange mix of people, all different ages and backgrounds, but they were all united by the music and the atmosphere of the club.

Then, Clive leaned in and said, "Let's dance."

David looked at him, surprised. "Are you sure?" Clive nodded taking his hand.

Ezula was too tired out from his dancing from before so he was just sitting with Kenneth on their booth.

"Come on." Clive said, pulling David to his feet. "Just one dance. I promise you'll have fun."

Reluctantly, David allowed himself to be pulled onto the dance floor. At first, he felt awkward and self-conscious, but then Clive started to move, and David followed his lead. And soon, they were both laughing and dancing and having a great time.

They danced for hours, and by the end of the night, David was sweaty and exhausted, but he felt a sense of exhilaration that he hadn't felt in a long time. Clive was grinning from ear to ear.

"Okay I believe we had much fun!" Clive declared when they got back to Ezula and Kenneth who were both looking too drunk to talk. " Let us go home please." Clive told them.

The two of them nodded blearily, and Clive helped them up and guided them out of the club. It was a bit of a struggle, but eventually they made it to the car.

Once they were all buckled in, Clive started the car and began the drive home. The others were silent, lost in their own thoughts. But Clive was still feeling energized from the dancing. He turned on the radio, and they all sang along to the songs as they drove. It was a fun and memorable car ride, one that they would all remember for a long time.

When they finally got home, they all went to their own bedrooms in Bethany's house. They all were too tired to actually go to their own houses.

The next morning, they all woke up, feeling a little hungover but in good spirits. They all met in the kitchen for breakfast, and they all shared stories from the night before. Everyone was still laughing and smiling, and the mood was light and easy. It was a perfect way to start the day.

After breakfast, Kenneth and Ezula decided to head home. Clive and David helped them get their things together, and then they said their goodbyes.

It had been a whirlwind of a night, but in the end, it had been a night to remember. And it had strengthened the bonds between them all.

It was still the early hours of the morning and Bethany still had not woken up. And this made Clive have an idea. " Since my mom is still sleeping I think we can sneak this time for some romance." He tickled David who understood where he was going with this.

They started kissing.

Their lips met in a passionate kiss, and they melted into each other's arms. Their hearts were racing, and they could feel the heat of each other's bodies. It was like a dream come true, to be able to share such a moment together.

Clive pulled David closer, and the kiss became more intense. David could feel himself getting lost in the moment, completely overwhelmed by the feeling of being with Clive. It was like nothing he had ever experienced before.

The moment was broken by the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs. They both froze, their hearts pounding in their chests.

"Oh don't stop on my account." Said a laughing Bethany that came down the stairs.

A blushing David quickly walked away going to the kitchen. Leaving the mother and son.
