Maira looked at their departure with relief and then approached Robert, "Aren't you okay, Robert?"

Robert tried to get up as Maira carried him into the restaurant.

"Please...take my mobile phone from the right side of my trouser pocket Maira! Please call...my uncle!" Robert cried softly.

Maira took Robert's mobile phone and searched for a contact name, fortunately Robert had named his uncle Allan Watson. Once connected, Maira put the phone on speaker.

Robert grinned at his uncle's response which was always sarcastic to him.

"Uncle! Come quickly! Help me...I mean...help Eve! Eve needs help! Someone's after her! Hurry! I'm on the Johnsonville road..." Robert's speech was cut off.

Tut!

"Robert!"

Robert suddenly fainted.

Allan, who got a call from Robert, took his car keys back which had been placed on the living room table.

Allan was about to run but was held back by Jordan's grandfather.

"What's wrong?" he said.

"I have to save Eve, Grandpa! Robert said someone is after Eve! I don't know what that means either! But I'm worried, there's no way Robert is playing around this time! I'm going to track Aleena through the watch phone I gave her! I'll go first!" Eve looked down and kissed her grandfather's forehead and ran off shouting.

"Wish me luck, grandpa!" Allan ran like crazy out of his house.

'Last time it seemed to say Johnson? There's only one name for Johnsonville Road! Maybe that's what he meant! I've got to get there! Oh, my God! What are you doing there, Eve! Help me save my wife and daughter, my God!" Allan drove his car at high speed after the gate of his house opened.

Along the way Allan didn't slow down a bit as he put on the headset in his ear and then with one hand opened the app that was connected to his daughter's watch mobile phone.

"Looks like Robert was right, this time! Aleena is in the vicinity of Johnsonville Road! But wait a minute, why isn't the dot moving? Didn't he say that Eve was being chased by someone?" Allan seemed to be steering with one hand while looking at the screen of his son's watch phone.

"I better try calling her!" Allan exclaimed again.

"It's connected! Thank goodness!" Allan exclaimed again.

"Hello! Honey, it's Daddy, where are you? Is Mummy okay?" asked Allan on his mobile.

The sound of a girl crying made Allan who was listening a little panicked.

"Honey? Hello! Don't cry baby! Daddy's coming! Wait, okay?" exclaimed Allan, starting to panic.

"Sorry, sir! T-this is Maira! Eve's friend! Aleena left her watch phone here and...Eve..." Maira sobbed.

Allan suddenly braked his car quickly. There was a screeching sound from the tyres before Allan's car finally stopped! Fortunately, Allan was quick to hold on and didn't get blown away.

After the car was completely stopped Allan fixed his heatset to be heard more clearly.

"What do you mean, where are Eve and my daughter? Speak clearly!" Allan exclaimed again.

Maira finally told him briefly without explaining that she had a hand in the matter.

Maira didn't want to hide, but the most important thing right now was that Allan's focus wasn't split! He had to save Eve and her daughter! That was all that mattered right now!

"Alright! You guys wait over there! There will be my men heading there! So Eve is heading towards the city, is that what you mean?" Allan said again.

"Right! About 10-15 minutes ago! Oh my God...hurry up! I'm worried! And...it was Jessica's man, Mr Watson! She has a grudge against you! And...the child she's carrying is not yours, it's her boyfriend's!" exclaimed Maira, still agitated.

"Alright! I know that! Because I never touched her! Aleena is my only daughter! Damn you Jessica! Just wait for my revenge! You'll be in jail with that baby if you have to!" Allan shouted loudly and without saying goodbye switched off his mobile phone.

Allan drove back to his car and called Tom without saying any greetings.

"Tom! Please track down Robert's car or Eve's mobile phone while I try to catch up with Eve and the person chasing her! And please report to the police, contact the commissioner to arrest Jessica as soon as possible! I've recorded a statement from Eve's friend Maira! I'm not sure Maira isn't involved, but I'm also sure for some reason Maira is helping Eve! So just report Jessica! Do it immediately! I don't want her to run away! And tell Bert to take some of our men there and the rest will follow me! Don't forget to send an ambulance to Johnsonville Road, to a restaurant, I'll send the name! It looks like Robert is hurt! ! HURRY!" Then Allan disconnected his mobile phone.

Allan then sent the recording of Maira's voice to Tom, luckily at a time like this he had recorded it earlier, when Maira was about to tell her story, he knew something had happened and he needed proof! Allan was always so focussed about everything, especially at such a crucial time.

Allan knew tracking Eve would take a long time, Allan didn't want to just wait around.

Allan dialed Eve's mobile phone and continued to drive his sports car at high speed.

No answer!
Allan tried to contact Eve once again! But still no answer!

Allan hit the steering wheel of his car while cursing.

"Shit! Eve, pick up, Eve! I need to know where you are!" exclaimed Allan, looking furious.

Allan drove towards Johnsonville Road so that he could run into Eve perhaps, since she had not been gone long.

After the third call was unsuccessful Allan called a fourth call and it was picked up. Allan pressed his headset to speak freely.

"Thank goodness! Where are you Eve? Hurry up and tell me!" exclaimed Allan as he continued to drive the car faster than the average that should be even now touching almost 200/km.

"Daddy? Help Mummy!" came Aleena's terrified sob.

Allan's heart sank as he heard his daughter crying.

"Be patient, dear...Daddy will come! Give the phone to Mummy, Okay?" Allan tried to hold back his emotions. "No! Speakerphone only! Let Mummy listen!"

"Okay, Daddy! Mummy! Daddy wants to talk!" Aleena exclaimed into the speakerphone.

"Allan! Help us! I'm scared! Some people are chasing..." Eve sobbed. And it sounded like a car crash.

"Akh!!!" Eve shouted.

"What's wrong, Eve? Tell me where you are. Hurry up!" Allan was no less panicked at the sound of Eve's screaming voice.

"They're crushing my car, Allan...I don't know...like...300 meters to Wellington city center!" Eve exclaimed in fear.

"Ok! Step on the gas a little more! You hear me? You're in Robert's red car, aren't you? Come on Eve! It's a sports car! It's faster than their black van! Then make a U-turn! Quickly! Do it!" Allan shouted angrily with his gaze forward.

"How did you know it was a black van that was chasing me?" Eve looked confused.

"Because I can see your red car from a distance! Just do as I say, Eve! Don't ask too many questions!" I said and accelerated back towards Johnsonville Road again! Do you understand?" Allan exclaimed firmly while pressing the gas faster so that they wouldn't be too far apart.

"Okay, Allan!" Then Eve stuck her foot on the accelerator even deeper and finally broke free from the car that was crushing her.

"I did it! Allan!" Eve shouted in excitement.

"I know! You are indeed my clever wife! Now turn around! Now! Eve!" shouted Allan.

Hearing Allan's command after being freed a few meters Eve quickly turned around! Her body even went to the left as she turned to her right Aleena did the same luckily Eve had time to put the seatbelt on Aleena.

Eve briefly saw Allan's car in front of her and smiled, but then she looked forward, frowning.

"Allan? Why didn't you dodge? Hurry up! Their car is almost coming towards you! Wh-what are you doing Allan?" said Eve who panicked as she saw in the rear view mirror that Allan was not following her but the car that was following Eve and this made Eve panic.

"Eve! You're always so loud! Next time, do me a favor! Don't leave without my permission! And...take care of our daughter! I-I love you...Eve! Always!" Allan said softly as he closed his eyes and increased the speed of his car towards the car that was following Eve and tried to make a U-turn as well but was outpaced by Allan's car.

Eve stopped and looked back and took her mobile phone from Aleena's hand.

"No! Don't do that Allan! No! Allan! I love you! You heard that! I love you!" Eve screamed in fear and shook her head.

"Thank you, Eve! I know..you love me! Take care of yourself! I love you Eve
, Aleena! You are my angels!"

After saying that, Allan crashed his car into the car that was chasing Eve.
