Eve hurriedly approached her daughter who was being carried by a cook. And then took over carrying him.

"Sorry, she was playing to get into the kitchen, but unfortunately she slipped. That's why she fell down! Sorry, we were too busy to notice this little girl appearing, otherwise...maybe I would have helped her sooner!" exclaimed a cook who was still wearing an apron.

"No! It's not your fault! It's my fault, I should have looked after her! I'm sorry! And thank you!" exclaimed Eve.

"No problem Mistress! Then I'll go back to the kitchen!" she exclaimed.

"Thank you again!" exclaimed Eve, the cook just smiled.

"Are you hurt, dear?" said Eve, looking at Aleena. "Why did you leave without telling Mummy first?"

"My knee hurts, Mummy! Sorry! I was just curious to see what was in there!" Aleena looked down.

"No problem, but next time tell me first?" Eve said and Aleena just nodded.

"Oh my! You hurt your knee a little! Wait a minute! Mummy brought a band-aid! I think it's in the bag!" Eve struggled to find something on it while carrying Aleena.

"Eve hurry up a bit, they're almost at the entrance!" Robert shouted impatiently.

"Come here! Let me carry Aleena! You hurry up and get the wound cover!" Robert picked up Aleena.

"Keep your face down Eve we're going out while you look for her we don't have much time! Aleena also bow your head, okay?"

Eve finally gave up, she was looking for something while looking down Robert held her hand while carrying Aleena who was also looking down.

Robert's chest felt like it was about to burst out of its socket, when he saw a man, who was being escorted by two other large men, heading towards the door, Eve ducked even deeper as she tried to find something and so did Robert.

Fortunately they didn't recognise Robert, Eve and Aleena. When they almost crossed paths at the door, Robert went out first and then the man came in. They only crossed paths in front of the restaurant's courtyard.

"Puff! Let's get in the car! It's a good thing they don't recognise us!" Robert exclaimed as he reached for the car keys.

Robert even heard them shouting at Maira in the restaurant.

"Where are they? Where's Maira?" asked one of the big men.

"I-I don't know! They don't seem to be coming! I'm sorry! Eve ignored my invitation!" exclaimed a terrified Maira as her eyes stared anxiously at the exit.

"How can you say they're not coming? Didn't you say half an hour ago that she was coming? Why are you saying no now? Are you trying to lie to us Maira?" said the very handsome man behind whom were two other men.

Maira had no time to answer, when a cook approached Maira.

"Excuse me Miss, where is the mother of the little girl? Aren't they your friends? Hmm... Looks like the little girl dropped something!" exclaimed the cook handing over a children's watch.

The cook's statement made the handsome and well-groomed man turn to Maira and stare at the cook.

"Did a woman with a little girl come in here earlier and talk to this lady, sir?" the man asked.

"Ah, yes! That's right! Are they friends of the gentlemen too? Please give this item to them. It looks like he fell down and this watch slipped off! I don't know how he got into my kitchen! Please, sir!" exclaimed the cook, handing the watch to the handsome man but it was snatched by Maira quickly before falling into the man's hands. The cook then excused himself to go back inside.

The man gave the code, and soon a large man with one of those lion tattoos on one hand slapped Maira.

Maira's lip cracked and released a small amount of red liquid.

"That's payback for lying to me! Where are they? Answer Maira?" A large man again held Maira twisting her hand backwards causing her pain.

"Owww! It hurts! I didn't know! She just left! I tried to hold her but you took too long to get here, Dean!" Maira exclaimed as she endured the pain.

Then the other man hit Maira on the cheek again, causing her cheek to swell blue.

"Answer the truth! If you don't......I'll rip your precious face off! So that no man or customer of yours will be willing to date you! ANSWER DAMN IT!" exclaimed the man who Maira apparently called Dean and was none other than Jessica's mistress.

Maira, who looked already swollen, was held by Dean with a small knife to her other cheek.

Maira was about to answer him when she heard a faint shout.

"Ah, found it! I found it Robert! The wound cover!" Eve shouted with unconscious excitement.

Robert gave Eve a warning look.

"Why are you shouting, Eve! Now we can't leave! They've seen us! Then take this key! You can drive, can't you? Go Eve, let me stop them!" Robert turned round and gave Eve the keys but Eve was confused.

Finally Robert pushed Eve to the driver's door and opened it. He then pushed Eve into the driver's seat and closed the door, Eve opened the window with a worried and frightened look.

"But what about you, Robert? I'm sorry! I made a mistake! I was stupid!" Eve began to cry.

Robert held both of Eve's cheeks then looked at her, "Don't think about me! I can survive, this is all I can do to make amends to you Eve! I'm sorry! If I have to die to save you, then I will! The only thing I regret is...I let go of a precious diamond like you! Deep in my heart...I still love you very much, Eve! But I know, you will never come back to me! Your heart belongs to my uncle completely! If possible...please forgive all my mistakes, my previous stupidity! And...this mistake!"

Robert then looked down and kissed Eve's lips even though it was just a glimpse.

Eve glared but Robert didn't care and said, "Go away Eve! Or I'll kiss you one more time! Do you want to?"

Eve shook her head and before stepping on the gas she said, "Take care, Robert! Be careful! And thanks for the help!"

Robert didn't answer, he turned around and blocked the two men who were almost to the car Eve was traveling in.

"You guys, my business!" shouted Robert who threw a punch at the two.

"Rancid bloke! Don't be a hero! You're no match for us!" said one of the big men who started to grab and beat Robert back.

Robert fell to the ground but he saw that Eve didn't leave the place, 'What the hell! Why isn't she leaving too?'

"EVE! GO!!" Robert shouted loudly. As Robert stood back up.

The two people looked at the car that started to leave finally.

Dean came out of the restaurant and pulled Maira who was also battered. Her cheek was swollen and the left side of her cheek was scratched by a knife and oozing drops of red liquid.

"Hey! What are you guys doing here? Get that car back!" the man named Dean exclaimed.

"Ready boss! Get out of the way you bastards! Don't get in our way!" shouted the big man beating Robert back Robert tried to fight back but the other big man hit him from behind Robert was knocked to the ground and then stepped on one foot by the one who had been hit by Robert!

"That's it! There's no more time! Leave him here!" exclaimed Dean who dragged Maira along with him.

Maira tried to fight back by biting Dean's arm very hard.

"Owww! Damn woman! No use!" Dean was about to chase Maira who went back inside the restaurant to ask but his foot was held back by Robert.

Robert said very softly, "Let her go, coward! Don't just dare with women!"

"You...! Let go!" Finally, Dean stepped on Robert's hand holding his leg with his other front leg until it was released.

Just as Dean was about to kick Robert, Maira appeared!

"Don't do that! I've called the police here! You're going to jail!" Maira shouted.

"You...!" Dean's words were cut off when he heard the roar of a car.

Dean was about to reply when the car of two of his men appeared.

"Boss, let's go! Otherwise that woman will get further away! And the police will be here soon!" said one of the tattooed men before him.

"Arghhh! Shit! Watch out for you Maira! I'll look for you after my busi
ness with that woman is done! Wait!" Dean finally left and ran into the car.

It wasn't long before their car disappeared.
