Chapter 293 Allan Expresses Regret!
Everyone was staring at Allan now. Allan no longer walked up to the podium but instead came down and approached the woman who had just provoked him.
"Who told you that I couldn't answer your question, Miss Meredith?" exclaimed Allan.
The woman stared a little stiffly, but she didn't flinch because she was doing this for a purpose. And Miss Heart had paid dearly for it!
"Then answer it! We want to hear it!" She challenged Allan.

Allan walked towards the podium and said, "Don't try to run away Miss Meredith. You've got nowhere to go Miss Meredith! So let's finish what you started! To answer your question...which I'm sure someone already knows! So my wife and I got married about 3-4 years ago. We only registered our marriage at the civil registry! We didn't get to do any reception because after that you go on your honeymoon. You guys know that's much more important than just a celebration, right?" Allan said casually, but everyone was smiling and holding back their laughter.
And Allan gave the code to Bert to show their marriage certificate. Quickly Bert, who had previously photographed Allan's wedding document connected to the computer he brought with him and connected to the projector.

'You started playing with me first, Jessica! I have no choice but to expose it! I told you, don't ever dare to play with me! Now, take the consequences for yourself!' Allan said silently.
"You can see the date yourself, so tell me, would I be so stupid as to get engaged to the same person whose hobby is cheating and making out with many men? Of course not! While I have a wife who is kind, beautiful, and very loyal!" Allan said again.
"Is that enough, or do any of you have any more questions?" asked Allan, casting his eyes around.
There was silence.
Until a man raised his hand.
"Yes, please sir, what would you like to ask?" asked Allan kindly.
"Excuse me sir, so where in the last three years have we not seen him once accompanying Lord Watson?" he asked hesitantly but very curious.
Allan took another breath and exhaled heavily. Allan looked up at the television camera.
I'm sorry, Eve, I have to tell them the truth!" Allan spoke in front of the screen as if he was talking to Eve and asked permission to speak.
"She's gone! There was a little misunderstanding between us! And it was all my fault! I should have trusted her! And instead of trusting a scheming woman like Jessica Heart! Are you surprised? It's the truth! Miss Heart played me, so I trusted her more and immortalized my own wife. I'm sorry, Eve!" Allan looked down and stared at the television screen.
Instantly the room fell silent, not a single person spoke.
