Chapter 290 Maybe my place is not here!

Chapter 290 Maybe my place is not here!
Allan felt very tired. For some reason it seems like difficulties always come to him.

Allan began to imagine happiness that did not know when it would come to him and his small family.

When it was late at night, Allan staggered to his room. Allan stopped for a moment in front of Eve's room that he had once occupied.

For a moment Allan hesitated, feeling the door of the room, as if he was feeling Eve's face, something that since this morning he had been holding back because he didn't want to be selfish and make everything go wrong. One thing is for sure Allan is afraid of losing Eve again, he is afraid that Eve will completely disappear from his life for the second time. And he wouldn't be able to take it anymore.

Very slowly Allan made up his mind to push the door to Eve's room.

It's dark!

Eve's room was dark!

There was only the illumination of a not-so-big bed lamp.

Allan slowly fingered the switch beside the door, but then lowered his hand again. He put his hands into his trouser pockets. He didn't want to wake Eve or his daughter who seemed to have fallen asleep. Let's face it, it was already 22.00.

Allan walked slowly over to Eve who was hugging her daughter from the side. Some hair covered Eve's beautiful face, Allan lowered his head and removed the hair to put it in Eve's ear.

Although it was very dim, Allan still saw very clearly Eve's slightly puffy eyes, because Allan looked down beside her when removing Eve's hair. His heart ached to see Eve who looked puffy with slightly puffy eyes.

Allan squatted beside Eve, " Have you been crying all day, Eve? Your eyes are swollen! I'm sorry! Sorry! It seems like I hurt your heart too many times! Something I really wanted to avoid! But the more I avoid it, the more you get hurt! I don't understand what game God is playing with us, Eve! Do you know how much I love you, Eve? I never even signed our divorce papers, Eve! Never! I tore them up! But then I fixed it. I wanted to show you that you are still my wife, Eve! My contract wife whom I love very much and don't want to let go! Please don't leave again, Eve! Especially after I found out, we have a very beautiful and smart daughter like you! I don't want to lose you two! I love you both so much! Just be patient, I'll take care of everything! Just wait!" Allan then kissed Eve's cheek and as a tear fell from Allan's eye.

Allan was crying. He couldn't bear to see Eve and his daughter suffer.

Then Allan turned to his daughter and kissed her forehead, Aleena moved slightly, Allan stayed where he was. He was worried that Aleena would wake up and start crying again. But she didn't. Aleena just turned around and then returned to her original position facing Eve.

"Puff! That was close!" Allan wiped the sweat from his forehead and the remaining tears from his eyes, although not many, but Allan did shed tears.

"Sleep my princess and the angel of my heart! I hope tomorrow will be better! It has to be better!" Allan then walked back in the direction before closing Eve's bedroom door he turned his head one last time and then smiled stiffly, before finally closing Eve's bedroom door.

Allan staggered back to his room and wanted to rest before tomorrow he had to solve his problem.

Without Allan realizing it, Eve opened her eyes, when Allan walked into her room, Eve was still awake, she couldn't sleep. Thinking about what to do next.

Allan's tears that fell made her startled, "Allan is crying?"

Eve didn't know what to do at this moment, her heart was broken! I don't know what Allan meant by saying that it would solve everything. But Eve, who was originally determined to leave Allan, was a little shaken by Allan's behavior just now.

"What is the wrong presumption, this time God? What, my decision to return to Paris and leave Allan was right?" Eve kept saying in her heart. She needed to talk to someone, and it was someone who was highly respected during this time.

Narti kept persuading her to wait for Allan's actions and decisions, but Eve couldn't take it anymore. Eve felt that Allan and her were not meant to be together. There were too many problems that they faced, one after another. It was as if the universe didn't even approve of them getting back together.

Eve's heart warmed when she heard Allan say he never divorced her and even signed the divorce papers Eve had signed before she left a few years ago.

But when she remembered Jessica, and the child she was carrying, Eve felt she had no right to deprive them of their happiness. Even though Jessica had previously done the same to herself and the daughter she was carrying.

Eve knew how unpleasant it was to be pregnant without the company of someone she loved. Or the husband she loves. A glimpse of how Eve had to endure thirst and hunger in order to save money and use her money to get her pregnancy checked. All on her own. It was not uncommon for Eve to cry silently while hugging Allan's shirt that she had brought with her when she left Allan.

Whenever Eve was sad, struggling, only that shirt accompanied her. Surprisingly, after kissing it, Eve would feel very happy.

In order to support herself and the baby Eve was willing to do odd jobs, sometimes selling some paintings on the side of the road in Paris. Sometimes Eve had to find extra work at the market, offering her services to the merchants there. Whatever she did Eve never felt embarrassed at all.

When her pregnancy started to grow, Eve had a hard time finding a job, even though she got a scholarship for her design school but, she still had to survive to support herself everyday, didn't she?

Until someone found her and helped her. Eve had refused the person's help but eventually she gave in, she accepted the person's help. I don't know how that person found her. Even Allan couldn't find Eve's whereabouts but the person was able to find her.

Since then, the person has always helped her, but when Eve started to receive several clients who used her interior design services, Eve began to subtly refuse. But the person kept sending her favors, even though Eve was no longer using the money. Eve intended to save it because it was her daughter Aleena's right.

Eve wiped away her tears that were also starting to straighten up, she picked up her mobile phone and called someone who had done so much for her and her daughter. Someone whose existence they had always kept secret, even from Allan.

Eve gripped the phone tightly when it started to connect. Eve didn't say a word

"Hello? Hello?" The person on the other side exclaimed, and Eve still remained silent with only her tears falling. Eve began to sob.

"Ah, Eve? Is your heart troubled, child? If you are troubled, come over! I will welcome you! You don't have to say anything! Because I expected it! I know what you're going through! I know, you must have been hurt, by that fool again, right? Come, I miss you and your daughter, Aleena, too!" said the voice.

"T-thank you, I'll come...I'm sorry I'm always bothering you!" was all Eve could say before her tears broke out.

"Calm down...you've never been a bother to me, remember that! You and Aleena are part of my family! Don't cry sweetheart! I'll be waiting for you! Or would you like me to send someone to pick you up?" he said softly.

Eve shook her head as if she was dealing with the person. "No need...I'll come tomorrow! Go back to sleep, good night..."

Eve took a deep breath and closed her mobile phone. She put it on her bed, and tried to go back to sleep after Aleena.

Eve's mind was made up, she was going to meet that person and...leave every
thing behind.

Eve wanted to go back to Paris! Maybe it's just not here....
