Chapter 288 An Unexpected Chaos!
A waiter wearing white and black entered with a nod. In his hand were drinks and snacks.
And then the waiter put them on a table in front of them. Narti frowned.
"Why is there only one? Why not two drinks? And why only one plate of snacks? Aren't there two of us?" Narti asked the waitress.
The waitress who seemed to be new put a smile on her lips.
"Sorry, I thought it was because there was one guest, so I made one. Meanwhile, Miss Adams is not a guest, not in this house? She usually likes to take both her own drinks and food, doesn't she? So I thought...." said the waitress without any guilt.
Narti, who was furious listening to the young waiter's words, stood up definitely while ruffling her waist.
"What? What did you say? Miss? This is Madam, in this house! That means she's your employer just like Mr Watson! Didn't anyone tell you what to call her? Even Mr Sam calls her the lady of the house! So you just call her, Miss? What is this?" exclaimed Narti who looked annoyed.
"Never mind Narti, she's right! I'm not the lady of this house! I'm just a guest in this house. There's nothing wrong with that, Narti! You can come back!" said Eve with a friendly smile.
"But Eve...even Allan asked Mr Sam to call you Madam! What does that mean? Allan recognises your position!" exclaimed Narti, still looking annoyed.
"Oh my! What position? She has snatched Mr Watson from the famously beautiful Miss Heart! She deserves to be called Madam! It's not like people don't know where they come from and ask to be called Madam! After all, Mr Watson will only marry a person of honor like Miss Jessica Heart! Who knows if that girl is really Mr Watson's daughter or not? She could be making it up and claiming to be Mr Watson's child, right? After all, we're expecting a baby with Miss Heart! Rumour has it, Miss Heart is pregnant with Mr Watson's child!" She exclaimed as she looked down and shuffled her feet.
"What? What are you saying? Don't spread slander! I can report your behavior to Allan so that he can sack you right now!" exclaimed Narti who was getting annoyed.
"Wait a minute, what did you say earlier? Miss Heard is pregnant?" asked Eve, whose face was shocked and slightly pale.
She nonchalantly shrugged her shoulders, "That's what I heard from social media!"
Narti saw Eve taking a few steps back, Narti looked at her and grasped her shoulder.
"Eve...don't believe this woman's venomous mouth! She must have been bribed by Jessica! You know how Jessica is, right?" said Narti, soothing Eve.
Eve looked at Narti's eyes and then the waitress.
"Whatever if you don't want to believe it! So how about this? I still have to make drinks for you?" she asked casually.
Narti looked at her with anger, "Go away! Go away! I said go!"
Ignorantly, the young waitress walked and opened the door.
Just as she closed the door, in front of her stood Mr Sam who looked at her with a judgemental gaze. He dragged the waitress away.
"What are you doing here? And what did you say just now?" said Mr Sam.
She looked fearfully at the butler.
"Sorry, Mr Sam. I-I didn't say anything! What did I say?" said the waiter, a little frightened.
"I heard it, Selin! You told Mrs Watson a lie! You said that...Mr Watson was getting married to Miss Heart and Miss Heart was pregnant! That's a lie! What did you really mean? Are you jealous of Mrs Watson?" exclaimed Sam in the dining room.
Annoyed, the young waitress removed herself and her hand from Mr Sam who held it firmly.
"Madam...Madam...Who is this Madam you refer to Mr Sam? The Madam who claimed to be in the other realm? Where has she been all this time? She never existed, did she? And you know she's back with a big daughter too! Who believes it's Mr Watson's daughter? It could be someone else's, couldn't it? I only know that Miss Heart is Mr Watson's fiancée and they're getting married and having a child! Because Miss Heart is pregnant! That's it! That's the truth! So that's what I told her earlier! Am I wrong?" the servant exclaimed in exasperation. She felt cornered by Mr Sam.
"What? What did you say to Eve just now? I'm going to marry Jessica and she's pregnant with my child, is that it?" asked someone from behind.
The waiter responded by turning around and saying, "That's right! That's what I said!"
But to her surprise, as soon as she finished speaking, it was Mr Watson, who had just come from the pool and happened to be looking for Eve's whereabouts, and not Mr Sam or the other waiter.
"I-I mean...Mr...it's..." she palely looked at the man in front of her.
"You're fired! Sam, I don't want to see her here anymore! Take care of her!" said Allan, visibly holding back his anger.
Mr Sam just sighed heavily. "Yes, sir, come with me!"
"Let go! Sir...that's not what I meant...don't fire me sir! Have mercy on me, what about my mother and younger siblings sir! Please don't fire me!" said the servant while struggling.
"I don't care! You should have thought of that before you spoke! Take her Sam! Give her what she is entitled to while working here and throw her out! I'm sick of seeing her face!" said Allan, starting to get angry.
"Yes sir!" exclaimed Mr Sam.
"Sir!...listen...I was just told...Sir! Sir...I..." cried the waiter.
Allan turned around and grabbed the servant by the neck.
"Who sent you? Tell me quickly! Who?" said Allan angrily.
When the waitress was about to open her mouth she saw Eve who had just come out of the reading room with Narti who was carrying her and they saw the scene. Eve tried to approach Aleena who was also with Allan who looked confused and seemed to be about to cry.
Suddenly the waitress smiled and looked at Eve.
"Sir! You asked me to deliver it, didn't you?" said the waiter.
Eve covered her mouth and the surprised Allan accidentally released his grip on the waiter's shirt.
"What? When did I tell you to? Damn you!" An angry Allan strangled her.
Eve who saw him shouted, "ENOUGH ALLAN! STOP YOUR CHARADE!"
The shocked Allan looked back and released his stranglehold, as Mr Sam dragged him away while calling Allan's bodyguards.
Allan walked over to Eve and was about to hold her daughter Aleena who looked terrified. Aleena moved away and hid behind Eve's body.
"Eve, Aleena...it's not like that! She's telling lies, Eve please listen to me!" Allan said as he was about to pull Eve's fingers, but Eve hurriedly raised her hands in the air.
"There's nothing to listen to anymore, Allan! I've heard enough! I've told you before, haven't I? That we can't get back together, because...because you're engaged to Jessica! And...and...now you're even going to have your own child! So, it's like...there's no need for us to be here, right? But what I regret is, why didn't you just tell me the truth? You broke Aleena's heart! Gave her false hope! Now she knows that you never wanted her and me to be here in the first place!" Eve said holding back her slowly falling tears, she didn't want to cry and be weak in front of Allan anymore.
"Eve...that's not it...it's all...lies! He..lied! Please give me a chance to explain! Aleena...Daddy..." Eve said, trying to turn to Aleena.
Aleena looked at Daddy with a hurt look on her face.
"Daddy...lied! Everything Daddy told me was a lie! Daddy never loved Mommy or me! Daddy chose to love another woman! And...your child!" Aleena began to sob.
Eve hugged Aleena and took her into her arms and walked towards the capsule lift to the top floor.
Allan wanted to chase her but was held back by Narti, "Sir...Sorry...please let Eve and her child calm down first! I'll help calm her down...it would be better for you to clean up the mess that is currently happening! But frankly, I'm disappointed with you, sir!"
After that, Narti walked a little bit after Eve.
Allan was confused by Narti's words, "You
