"Ella?"
Sharon looked at Ella in astonishment.
Ella was not only her cousin but also her friend.
Sharon actually admired Ella a lot. After all, Ella was not only beautiful but also a movie star.
But Sharon never expected that just after her divorce from Ethan, Ella would be holding Ethan's arm, looking very intimate with him.
Sharon suddenly felt betrayed.
Had Ethan and Ella been involved all along?
Sharon questioned Ethan angrily, "Ethan, what is going on? You must give me an explanation!"
Ethan was also at a loss for words. There was nothing going on between him and Ella!
Ella spoke up for Ethan, "There's nothing to explain. You are already divorced from Ethan, so you have no relationship with him anymore! And I, I want to pursue Ethan!"
Sharon was shocked.
She could hardly believe her ears!
Ella was actually pursuing a man she looked down upon!
Why?
Sharon couldn't understand!
At this moment, many passersby had already noticed Ella and gathered around.
After all, Ella was a movie star!
Seeing a movie star on the street was a rare occurrence.
Moreover, Ella was a goddess in the eyes of many young men!
When these young men saw Ella, they were very excited.
However, when they heard Ella say she wanted to pursue Ethan, they found it very hard to accept.
"What! My goddess wants to pursue this loser? I can't accept it!"
"This must be a movie shoot! Quickly, find out where the cameraman is!"
Ella's words caused a stir in the crowd.
Ella didn't care, Ethan was the most outstanding man in her eyes, and Sharon dared to look down on Ethan and often bully him, she needed to help Ethan save face!
After a brief shock, Sharon finally came to her senses.
She realized that someone as outstanding as Ella could not possibly like a loser like Ethan.
Ella must be filming a reality show!
Although she didn't see any cameras or cameramen around, she was sure that the cameras and cameramen must be hidden in the crowd!
Sharon was angry because if it was really a reality show, then the role she was playing at the moment must be that of a bad woman who abandoned her husband!
So Sharon covered her face, panicked, and ran away.
Before leaving, she didn't forget to say harsh words to them, "Ella, I misjudged you. I didn't expect you to make a fool of me in front of the camera!"
"And you! Ethan, you conspired with Ella to make a fool of me! You are a despicable person, I'm glad I saw through your true colors and divorced you!"
Before Ethan could explain, Sharon had already run far away.
Ethan shook his head and couldn't be bothered to explain to Sharon.
That was it, he had already divorced Sharon!
One hour later, Ethan arrived at the Chairman's office of the Cloud Group.
Jayden was the Vice President of the Cloud Group and also Ethan's right-hand man, so he followed Ethan to the office.
"Has anyone been in my office?" Ethan frowned and asked.
He used to come back once a month, and during the rest of the time, no one else from the Cloud Group was allowed to enter, but now he found signs of movement in the furniture and objects.
Obviously, someone had been in!
Jayden wiped his sweat and explained, "I had the janitor come in for cleaning."
Beverly had instructed Jayden to keep her schedule confidential, so Jayden had to help cover up.
Ethan nodded, not suspecting anything. He then took out a plan and said to Jayden, "Sell off all the projects in the group! I want to take the company out of Lindwood City."
Ethan had stayed in Lindwood City for Sharon, but now that he had divorced her, there was nothing worth staying for in Lindwood City.
He wanted to take the Cloud Group to a bigger city for development!
"Leave Lindwood City?" Jayden was surprised.
In recent years, the Cloud Group had been growing rapidly in Lindwood City, with revenue and profits increasing every year. Why would they suddenly retreat at the peak of their success?
Although he was very puzzled, Jayden didn't dare to ask too many questions and could only obey Ethan's decision.
However, Jayden also asked Ethan a question, "Mr. Wilson, what about Ms. Sharon? Are you taking her with you?"
"I have already divorced Sharon, she is no longer my wife!"
Jayden felt sorry for Ethan.
Because he knew that Ethan not only took care of Sharon in every way but also did many things for her in secret.
For example, Sharon's company, The Listening advertising agency, originally had no qualifications to cooperate with their Cloud Group, but Ethan secretly helped Sharon and the two companies reached a cooperation agreement.
And in the cooperation, Sharon's The Listening advertising agency did not fulfill the obligations stipulated in the contract, but Ethan was generous and did not hold Sharon accountable...
Sharon didn't know how to appreciate the kindness of Ethan!
If Sharon knew the true identity of Ethan, she would definitely regret it!
Jayden asked Ethan, "Mr. Wilson, since you have divorced Sharon, should we cancel the five-phase contract with Sharon's The Listening advertising company?"
"No, let's keep it." Ethan shook his head.
Ethan was a man of great loyalty, after all, he had been married to Sharon for three years, even though they were no longer together, he still wanted to help Sharon in the end.
After that, he took out a share transfer agreement from the drawer.
This share transfer agreement was originally prepared for Sharon, as he had intended to transfer half of the Cloud Group's shares to her.
But now that they were divorced, the agreement was naturally void.
He tore up the share transfer agreement and threw it into the trash can.
Let the past be the past!
If Sharon knew she had missed out on a multi-billion dollar share transfer agreement, she would definitely regret it!
Jayden left the Chairman's office and returned to his own office.
Later, he called Beverly and informed her of Ethan's divorce.
Jayden also mentioned how Sharon and her family had mistreated Ethan over the years.
After learning the whole story, Beverly was very angry.
Ethan was the heir of their Wilson family!
How dare Sharon look down on Ethan and humiliate him so much, it was truly despicable!
She had to help Ethan get justice!
Beverly immediately ordered Jayden, "Immediately stop the five-phase contract with The Listening advertising company, and investigate the issues in the contract. If they want to sue, we will see it through to the end!"
Jayden responded, "Yes!"
Like Beverly, Jayden also cared about Ethan. It was because of their concern for Ethan that they disliked Sharon.
They wanted to help Ethan get justice!
One hour later, a well-dressed lawyer arrived at Sharon's The Listening advertising company.
The lawyer handed Sharon a court summons and said, "Ms. Sharon, I am the lawyer for the Cloud Group. I found that your company had been negligent in the first four phases of cooperation, failing to fulfill the obligations stipulated in the contract. According to the contract, we will immediately cease cooperation with your company and seek compensation!"
Sharon's face changed drastically. "How could this happen?"
The lawyer didn't explain and left after handing over the court summons.
She was dumbfounded.
The Cloud Group had been cooperating very well with her company, and had always been helping her.
It was precisely because of this that Sharon was very grateful to the Chairman of the Cloud Group and even admired him.
Although she had never met the mysterious Chairman of the Cloud Group, he had always been helping her.
Why was he suddenly not helping anymore?
Sharon couldn't understand what had happened.
Soon after, the company's phones rang one after another, bringing countless bad news.
"Ms. Thomas, all our partners have called, saying they want to stop cooperation and demand compensation. What's going on?"
"Just now, the Cloud Group stopped cooperating with us. It seems that these companies all got the news. They originally cooperated with us because of the face of the Cloud Group, but now that the Cloud Group has stopped cooperating with us, they have also stopped working with us."
Sharon rubbed her head in a headache.
"Our cooperation with the Cloud Group has always been pleasant, how could it suddenly stop? Should we go ask Jayden?" suggested one of Sharon's subordinates.
“The Cloud Group's mysterious Chairman have never appeared in public, and the daily business is handled by the Vice President, an old man named Jayden, said to be a trusted aide brought in by the Chairman from out of town.”
It was Jayden who had taken the initiative to approach their company three years ago and started the cooperation. With the rise of the Cloud Group, their company had also grown rapidly, and in the following three years, they had worked closely together for four phases, which could be described as intimate.
However, now that the Cloud Group was suddenly causing trouble, what had happened?
"Ms. Thomas, the bank has sent people over and said they want to reevaluate our assets and business, and discuss bankruptcy matters!"
Sharon heard the bad news and almost couldn't stand. Everyone in the meeting room was also shocked.
How long had it been since the Cloud Group sent people over? Their company was already on the brink of bankruptcy!
Under the dominance of the Cloud Group, everyone felt a suffocating silence.
"Alright, I understand. Reply to the bank, we will account for the assets as soon as possible, and ask them to come back in a few days."
Sharon's eyes were lifeless, like a walking corpse.
In a short period of time, the huge blow had almost crushed her.
"Ms. Thomas, the only way now is to find Jayden and find out what went wrong!"
Sharon nodded in despair and dialed Jayden's number.
"Hello, is this Mr. Wilson?"
"Why did you suddenly cancel the cooperation with our company? Although we have flaws, is it necessary to take such drastic measures? Did I do something wrong?"said Sharon.
After a brief silence on the other end of the phone, a strange female voice sounded.
It was Beverly's voice!
Beverly had answered the phone for Jayden.
Beverly said, "Of course, you did something wrong!"
"Who are you, where is Mr. Wilson?" Sharon suddenly became alert.
"I am Beverly Wilson. Mr. Wilson listens to my orders. You have offended someone, which displeased me, so I want to punish you! That's why I canceled the cooperation with your company!"
"Who did I offend?" Sharon was very confused.
