Were these pieces of jewelry worth five to six million dollars?
Was it true or fake?
Gabriella quickly made a judgment; she said to Ethan, "You're lying! How could a poor guy like you have such valuable jewelry?"
"So, these pieces of jewelry must all be fake!" Gabriella asserted.
Sharon looked at Ethan angrily. "You're using fake items to deceive us!"
Sharon, despite being Ethan's wife, never believed his words, which left Ethan feeling very disheartened.
Instead of explaining, Ethan said angrily, "If you think these pieces of jewelry are fake, then just throw them away!"
"Tomorrow, we'll go through with the divorce!"
With that, Ethan left the Thomas family mansion without looking back.
Watching Ethan leave, Sharon felt a mix of emotions.
She had wanted to divorce Ethan, but now that he had readily agreed, she felt a hint of regret.
After all, he had been very good to her over the years.
Apart from being poor, he seemed to have no other faults.
Meanwhile, Gabriella was very pleased. She said to Sharon, "Sharon, after you complete the divorce proceedings tomorrow, I'll arrange for you to meet several wealthy heirs! They are all richer than Ethan, and marrying them will surely make you happier than being with Ethan!"
"If you can marry into a wealthy family, I can also benefit and become a wealthy lady too."
Sharon remained silent, but in reality, she already had someone she liked.
The person she liked was the chairman of the Cloud Group!
Although she had never met this mysterious chairman, she had heard that the chairman of the Cloud Group was very capable, having developed the company into a large enterprise in just a few years!
A man with such capabilities, who wouldn't love him?
The reason she was divorcing Ethan had a lot to do with her falling for the mysterious chairman of the Cloud Group.
Compared to the chairman of the Cloud Group, Ethan was simply a waste and not worthy of her!
Sharon had no idea that the chairman of the Cloud Group she admired was actually Ethan!
At this moment, Ethan had already left the Thomas family villa.
It started to drizzle in the sky.
The rain fell on Ethan, making him look quite disheveled.
At this moment, a Porsche stopped by the roadside, a beautiful woman got out of the car, holding an umbrella, and hurried to Ethan's side to shelter him.
She had a very attractive face, a great figure, wearing high heels and stockings, not only sexy but also exuding a noble temperament.
Whether it was Flora or Sharon, neither of them was as beautiful as she.
Her name is Ella Davis, she was Sharon's cousin, and also a movie star signed by Ethan's company, the Cloud Group.
Ella was originally just a small actress, but because she was Sharon's cousin, Ethan directly made Ella the leading actress out of respect for Sharon, and she starred in several movies.
This directly caused Ella's popularity to soar, becoming the rising star of the film industry!
So Ella was very grateful to Ethan.
But Sharon was unaware of this, and Ethan did not allow Ella to tell Sharon.
Ella saw Ethan looking sad and asked, "How did you come out on a rainy day? Did Sharon trouble you again?"
Ethan smiled bitterly. "Sharon wants to divorce me and leave me with nothing!"
Ella was angry. "That was so cruel! I'll go talk to Sharon! If Sharon knows you are the chairman of the Cloud Group, she will definitely apologize to you!"
Ethan stopped Ella and said, "If Sharon apologizes to me only because I am the chairman of the Cloud Group, then what's the point of our marriage?"
Ella nodded, indeed, if Sharon only changed her mind after knowing Ethan's identity, then it can only be said that Sharon liked Ethan's status, not Ethan himself.
Ethan said with some sadness, "I have agreed to Sharon's wishes and agreed to divorce her!"
Ella comforted. "Mr. Wilson, don't be too sad, this is not your fault, Sharon is in the wrong, she doesn't know how to appreciate your goodness."
"I'll accompany you to have a drink, alcohol can numb the pain, after drinking and sleeping, forget about Sharon, you will definitely meet a better woman than Sharon!" Ella invited Ethan to drink.
Ethan nodded and followed Ella.
Ella opened a presidential suite at the nearby Cloud Group hotel.
This Cloud Group hotel is an industry under the Cloud Group, which is Ethan's industry.
Ella took Ethan to the presidential suite, ordered a few bottles of red wine, and sat by the window in the presidential suite to drink.
Soon, the two of them entered a slightly tipsy state.
Ella's face turned slightly red, and she appeared more charming and attractive.
Under the influence of alcohol, she became bolder, approached Ethan, and said shyly, "Ethan, I have actually liked you for a long time..."
Ethan was not surprised because he had long noticed that Ella liked him.
But in the past, he was already married to Sharon, and he was a man loyal to marriage, he would never cheat within marriage.
But now...
Ella approached Ethan, kissed him on the forehead, and then threw herself into Ethan's arms, saying coyly, "Ethan, Sharon doesn't like you, I like you! She doesn't want to make love with you, I do..."
Meanwhile, a helicopter landed on the rooftop of the Cloud Mansion a few hundred meters away.
A woman dressed in fiery red leather, with a hot figure, got off the helicopter, looking particularly eye-catching in the night.
An old man with white hair walked up to Beverly Wilson and said, "Ms. Beverly, your orders have been conveyed, I will keep your itinerary confidential and not let anyone know of your arrival."
The white-haired old man's name was Jayden Wilson, he was the vice president of the Cloud Group, Ethan's right-hand man.
Behind Jayden, there were a dozen bodyguards in suits, tall and fierce-looking, like fierce warriors!
Jayden held a high position in the Cloud Group, respected by all, but at this moment, he showed particular respect to Beverly.
Because Beverly was a member of the Wilson family, she and Ethan were from the same family, named Beverly Wilson!
Under Jayden's guidance, Beverly arrived at the chairman's office of the Cloud Group.
Beverly directly sat in the chairman's seat and asked Jayden, "How often does Ethan come to the company?"
Jayden replied, "Mr. Wilson usually comes to the company once a month, and I usually communicate with him about company affairs over the phone."
Beverly said, "He only comes to the company once a month, this chairman is quite relaxed!"
Jayden hurriedly explained, "I usually communicate with Mr. Wilson over the phone about company matters, so even if he doesn't come to the company, he can still handle company affairs."
"And, the Cloud Group was originally a very small company, but it has developed into a billion-dollar enterprise now, all thanks to Mr. Wilson!"
Beverly was surprised, she didn't expect Jayden's abilities to be so strong.
After the surprise, a smile appeared on Beverly's lips.
It seemed that there was a reason why the family chose Ethan as the heir.
"Where is Ethan now?" Beverly asked.
"Mr. Wilson should be at the Thomas family, with his wife Sharon!" Jayden replied.
Beverly was very surprised. "Ethan is married! When did this happen?"
Jayden said, "That was three years ago, Master became the son-in-law of the Thomas family!"
Beverly was shocked. "Son-in-law? The heir of the Wilson family actually became a son-in-law!"
Beverly instructed Jayden, "Jayden, investigate how the Thomas family has treated Ethan over the years. If they have mistreated him or caused him any grievances, I will make them pay!"
The next morning, at the Cloud Group hotel, in the presidential suite.
Ella woke up to find that Ethan was nowhere to be seen.
Looking at her neatly dressed self in the mirror, Ella smiled bitterly with a sense of loss.
Ethan did not make love with Ella last night.
Because Ethan had not yet completed the divorce proceedings with Sharon, making love with Ella in this situation would be considered infidelity.
Although Sharon no longer loved him, he could not give up on himself!
Although Ella was somewhat disappointed, she could also understand Ethan.
Being faithful to love, such a man was a truly good man!
Ella knew that Ethan must have gone to handle the divorce proceedings with Sharon!
So she quickly freshened up and left the presidential suite.
She had to find Ethan!
Sharon didn't love Ethan, she loved Ethan!
Sharon didn't want Ethan, she did!
Meanwhile, Ethan had already completed the divorce proceedings with Sharon, and they officially divorced.
The three-year marriage ended in failure, and Ethan's heart was heavy.
But besides the heaviness, Ethan also felt a sense of relief.
After all, he was finally free!
He no longer had to be the despised son-in-law!
They walked on the street, both silent, without speaking.
They reached an intersection.
Ethan spoke first, saying, "Sharon, I'm leaving, take care of yourself."
But Sharon suddenly stood in front of Ethan. "Don't you have anything else to say to me?"
In Sharon's original plan, Ethan should cry and beg her not to divorce, showing a very reluctant appearance.
But Sharon never expected that Ethan would be so indifferent.
This made Sharon feel a bit uncomfortable, she had to ask clearly.
Ethan looked at Sharon and said, "We are already divorced, what else is there to say? In the future, let's not bother each other, and live our own lives well!"
Sharon said angrily, "Ethan, you are too heartless!"
Before Ethan could respond, a voice suddenly rang out. "It's you who are heartless!"
As the voice fell, a beautiful woman appeared by Ethan's side and took his arm.
This woman was none other than Ella!
