LUCIANO
The car ride came to a halt making me look at her. She had ignored me the whole ride and something tugged at my heart but I kept it neutral.
She opened the car door and I stepped out from my side walking over to her side before picking her up in bridal style. She gasped and clenched my shoulders.
“ Luciano “
I looked at her with my stern gaze and I noticed her breath hitched and she lowered her head. I shook my head slightly at her before walking inside. On my way, I ordered one of my men to get the doctor.
As soon as I entered in the living room, Isabella was the first one to notice and she quickly stood up and approached us , a concerned look on her face for Adeline.
“ what happened? “
I placed Adeline on the couch and Isabella looked at me with confusion.
“ from now on, Adeline and aurora wont be going out alone. There will always be Braxton or Aaron with them “
As soon as I finished my words, Adeline’s head shot up as she glared at me with those beautiful orbs that reflected hatred for now.
“ but what happened, Luciano ? “
Isabella insisted to know the reason but I was in no mood of giving her any hint of what I saw.
“ I have told what I had to and get the doctor to inspect her injuries “
Saying that, I walked out of there not wanting to stay there and let them witness my anger that was ready to explode. I walked towards my car and slammed the door shut after seating.
Adeline was getting too much now. The feel and taste of her lips, her closeness was getting me too hard now and I could not seem to back down. She had already occupied me and things had accelerated.
And there was no backing down for me now. I could not see her with anyone. I clenched my fists not wanting to get angry anymore but I had to relieve the stress making me go mad.
My phone rang, interrupting my thoughts and I was so glad because I did not know what id do if i sat idly. I quickly answered it and heard Christian’s voice.
“ I’m at the ring waiting. Get over here “
I hung up and sat back on the seat closing my eyes to relax myself.

I breathed heavily as I landed a hard punch at Christian’s jaw as he stumbled back. We both breathing heavily, trying to get as much oxygen to get into our lungs as possible.
“ you’re fucking crazy “
He shouted making me stare at him with blood dripping down my lip making me smirk.
“ you’re fucking sick! You think this all is fine ? “
He shouted making me want to kill him at the spot. He rushed towards me, plunging at me but I dodged, kicking him in the knee as he fell on the floor gasping.
“ don’t forget who’s the one in control “
I wiped the blood with the back of my hand and scoffed.
“ you can’t fuck her around. You can’t marry her then why the fuck are you playing with her ? “
“ Christian! “
I warned him, not wanting him to be so fucking idiotic to question me about such a sensitive topic about my life and to talk about her like that.
“ I am not fucking wrong. I want your answer. You know how much family and power is important to us. You know what will happen if you fuck her. You’re fucking disrespecting your own best friend! “
I glared at him as he stood up shaking his head as he laughed sinisterly.
“ will Ricardo be happy with what you’re doing with his daughter? “
That was what finally hit me. The best friend whom I considered the one truly my family…… I was doing this all with his daughter. My heart clenched at the thought and Christian smirked.
“ exactly Luciano. Our life is not easy and finding love is not even near. You’re hurting your own family by doing this. The family you tried to keep together and the family, Ricardo built, will you ruin it with your own hands knowing everything? “
I clenched my fists and the thought of Adeline hit me right where it hurt the most.
What was this feeling? Why was I feeling so bad? She was only family but the feeling of pushing her away did not feel right.
“ think about it, Luciano. I’m not your enemy. Think about it “
I looked at him in disbelief and stepped back, walking out of the ring. I needed to calm myself. I came here to relieve my stress but was hit again with something much harder.
Suddenly my phone started ringing. I looked at the caller ID and it hit me. Elena. I stared at the screen continuously ringing before finally picking up.
“ why did you call? “
“ I want to meet you “
I clenched my fists not wanting to deal with another problem but I knew she was also not at fault either.
“ I am busy- “

Suddenly, something flashed inside my mind. I took a second to reflect on the idea and the image of Adeline popped up in my mind.
I closed my eyes and rubbed my forehead not liking the tension that was never a problem for me.
