A wedding invitation with a design that looks so luxurious and elegantly, Savannah placed it right on the table in front of her coworkers. With Irina's name clearly written on it, it was official invited to come to the wedding that will be held in one time another week. The hope is that those who want this marriage can postponed according to his wishes because she who felt unprepared, was not approved by the future father-in-law who apparently did not receive any reason for the postponement of the wedding which already has a schedule.
"What's this?" Irina asked while holding up the invitation.
“You can see for yourself,” Savannah replied, stepping back to his desk chair.
"Invitation? You and..., oh God! Savannah, you and...”
“Sshh..., lower your voice Irina.”
Irina can't stand it anymore, she want to be able to ask a lot of questions right away immediately appeared in her mind, and make she immediately moved the chair wheeled work to be able to approach Savannah's whereabouts.
“Okay. You owe me a lot of explanations. In the first time you told me about your very complicated love life some time ago, and now you just suddenly gave me wedding invitation like this and what's worse you are not married along with your last boyfriend that I know. How all that could happen to you, Savannah?”
"You're the only one who only hears and knows my love story it felt so confused. How about me living it, huh?”
“This invitation is not a joke because it's April mop right?”
"Hey, is that extravagant invitation more of a joke?" Said Savannah who threw her protest.
"Hmm..., then this is a real thing, Savannah?"
"Yes, of course. This is a reality that I have to go through. Reality bitter, so complicated, that it left me unable to do anything to be able to defend myself.”
“If you didn't want it, why did you agree in the first place do it, Savannah? Isn't forcing of your own will the same never good?”
"Yes, indeed. However, talking is always very easy compared to doing it, right?”
"So this marriage is for real?"
"Yes. And in the near future the wedding will take place.”
“Do you want it, Savannah?”
"What?"
"Duke. Would you like her to be your husband?”
“Forcibly parting with someone I really love
it's so hard. How can I accept someone who is not I want to be my life partner, which is done by force also? It seemed to me that it would be so difficult and so impossible.”
“Then, will you continue to deny the reality that will go through this?”
"Who knows. I can't gauge what my life will be like in the future later."
"With your marriage?"
"I will try to accept it."
“I get it, it must be painful to go through all this with compulsion, right?”
"I have to live with it."
“Once I gave you advice, that you better follow what your heart says, right? Then, why don't you do it, Savannah? Why don't you follow the desires of your heart?"
“The contents of my heart, is the wish that I want to do. And, reality not always in accordance with the wishes. You know about that, don't you?"
“Hearing your life story, I can only give you a taste spirit that might be able to lighten the burden you are currently experiencing feel right now."
“Thank you for wanting to do that for me, Irina.”
"Yes, of course." The woman replied with a smile.
"Then, get to work. I will deliver this document first formerly."
Carrying documents from his desk, Savannah left stood up from his chair and walked to his boss's room.
"Good morning, Sir. The review document that you requested yesterday," greeted Savannah while placing the document she was carrying on Duke's desk, right in front of that man.
“Invitations have already begun to be sent out. Is there anyone you'd like to invite again?
"Maybe…, that guy?”
"Hmm..., I want to invite everyone."
"Everyone?"
“Yes, everyone. Literally everyone you and I know each other. Close friends, family, and special people who used to stop at heart. Have you ever had a special friend?”
“Of course I had a special friend. Do you think I'm that type a guy who never goes on a date?”
"Hmm..., maybe. You are such an arrogant man. Which woman wants have a partner like you? An arrogant, selfish, and ambitious man.”
Hearing Savannah's words, Duke smiled a little and got up from his chair and he walked over to her the existence of the woman who was in front of his desk.
"Nobody wants that, huh?" Said the man while pulling Savannah's waist until her body clung into his embrace.
"Of course. I just had to."
“It's good that I'm so immune to every innuendo you always give me that.”
"I'm not being sarcastic. But the reality is that it is, right?"
"Yes. You are absolutely right,". "Hey, I'm sorry I can't coaxing Dad that our wedding can't be pushed back like so badly you want."
"If it's like that, what can you do? What can I do? Not there's something we can do if it's your Dad who have spoken."
"Maybe I wasn't trying too much."
“Never mind, everything has happened, Duke. And, there's nothing we can either do it again. Invitations have begun to be distributed, there are also many preparations it's done, and almost done. Our wedding days are numbered again, Duke. So, there's nothing else I can do to be able to stop postponed this marriage.
“Tell me the truth, Savannah. Do you want this marriage?”
“You already know the answer, Duke. Why are you still asking again?"
"I want to hear it one more time from you."
"I still can't accept this marriage, Duke." Savannah said made Duke smile a little upon hearing that.
“Right now you still can't accept it, but I promise I will make you start to accept this marriage slowly by slowly. I will make sure this wedding that I really want, can be the one you want too. You believe it, don't you?"
Not wanting to make Duke feel so confident with him belief, Savannah slowly nodded head while giving a smile to the man in front of her.
"Okay. Then, we can get to work?”
"Yes. I have so much work piled up and must be done as soon as possible."
"Then, work. You don't have to push yourself too hard to do it finish everything. You are now my future wife, and it is no longer my workers who have to demand perfection because responsibility you have.”
“Yes, Sir.” Savannah replied with an immediate smile and stepped from Duke to his room, and she went straight getting ready to start work in the morning.

In the elevator that was going up to the top floor, Savannah was alone inside there directed his gaze towards the top of the elevator while waiting for her to arrive at the intended floor. However at the time of the lift just climbed half a floor to the destination, did not expect when the elevator that you are riding stops on one of the floors and automatically the door immediately opened. Apparently there is Dylan who wants to get on the elevator. And when the gazes of the two of course immediately collided, Savannah even reflexively shifted his position slightly towards the corner of the elevator to give room for the man who was about to step into the elevator.
Until Dylan, who had already entered, both of them just stared at each other when the elevator is back in operation. No one intends to start a conversation even if it's just saying hello. Savannah also occasionally only slightly glanced at the man right beside her from the corner of the eye that woman. Until not feeling comfortable because of the silent situation, the woman also intends to say hello and start a conversation with the man it first.
"Hey, Dy. How are you today?"
"Fine," replied the man flatly and did not feel like prolonging conversation that just started.
"Where have you been?"
“Is that important to you? Where am I after? And I where to go? Does it matter to a woman honor of the leading couple here?”
"Hmm..., okay. Then..., have you received one today?"
"Invitation? I haven't got it."
"You haven't got it yet? I can send it to you. I want you can be there when that day comes.”
“You want me to be able to take my time and then come to your wedding? How can you be so selfish like that, Savannah. I think that you are a woman who is completely different from the others. Apparently, you it's no different than most women out there."
“I just want to extend an invitation to everyone I know, so that they can be appreciated by having a marriage that is not I will look at whoever is the status that will be invited later.”
"I don't need anyone's respect. Even if you are do it, it will only lower the self-esteem that is already so tall and so looked up to by many who knew the family.”
“Dy, I just want the relationship between us to be fine. After a few weeks our relationship has officially ended, I still want us to be in a relationship like before. We are friends and take care of each other. I wish something like that could stay us keep it up. Even considering our status which has only become just a part of the past.”
“You dare to wish for such a thing? Aren't you afraid let down someone who loves you so much for the second time, just because of your selfish nature?”
Hearing Dylan's words, which had only been full of sarcasm since earlier was clearly aimed at her, making Savannah just sigh breathe heavily and patiently. The woman still understood very well what about Dylan's feelings, who still can't accept, and equally disillusioned with Savannah. Which now change its nature one hundred and eighty degrees after thing already happened between the two of them in the past.
"In that case, I will still send one invitation to you. You can invite anyone to come to the event later. You want to come and even if you don't want it, that's also up to you. I only want to appreciate you who used to be a part of my life, with how to invite you to my event later.”
"You want me to be able to come to your event later?"
“Yes, hoping that you could come. However, I don't want to either force you. It's all up to you.”
"Then I will work on it."
“Thank you for wanting to work on it, Dy. Once again, thank you." Said Savannah, which coincided with the opening of the elevator door who was already on the floor the woman was headed for. “In that case, I'm leaving first. See you next time," She continued after that immediately stepped out of the elevator and left Dylan, who had to go to great lengths to reorganize and calm down his heart.
At that time she was quite brave because she was asked to came to the wedding of a woman he still loved, so of course it hurts the man's heart and feelings again.
