Chapter 71 Where are the Twins?

The following day, everyone got up early. The family was going to explore Paris. Sophia and Vincent were on vacation, and the family was hiking in the mountains the following day. They explored tourist destinations in Paris. That evening, the naughty boys were missing from the dinner table. They would never miss dinner because they had big appetites and were always hungry.

As Isabella set the table for dinner that evening, a sense of unease settled in. The air was filled with the warm aroma of Coq au Vin simmering on the stove, and the clinking of cutlery added to the cosy atmosphere. However, the absence of Amanda’s younger brothers, Iran and Irenwas palpable. “Have you seen the boys?” Isabella asked Ian, glancing toward the door, hoping to see them come bounding in. “They should be back by now.”

Vincent shook his head, a slight frown crossing his face. “No, not since we left the Champs-Élysées. They wouldn’t miss dinner for anything, especially with your delicious cooking on the menu.”

Just as Isabella was about to call out for them, they burst through the door, cheeks flushed and eyes sparkling with mischief. Each boy clutches a handful of brightly coloured postcards, grinning ear to ear.

“Guess what we found!” Iran exclaimed, breathless with excitement. “We went to the top of the Arc de Triomphe, and it was AMAZING! You can see all of Paris from up there!”

Iren chimed in, barely able to contain his enthusiasm. “And we met a street magician who did the coolest tricks! He made a coin disappear right before our eyes!”

Isabella crossed her arms playfully, trying to hide her relief with a mock, stern expression. “You both had us worried! We thought you’d gotten lost in the city or, worse, stolen away by the Eiffel Tower!”

Idan laughed, brushing off his mother’s concern. “Not a chance! We were just on an adventure!”

Ian joined in the banter, “Next time, let us know so we don’t start planning a rescue mission. Now wash up; dinner is almost ready!”

As the boys rushed off to clean up, Isabella couldn’t help but smile at their infectious energy. It reminded her of the beauty of spontaneity, especially in a city as vibrant as Paris.

Once everyone settled around the table, the conversation flowed easily, fueled by the day’s adventures. The family shared laughs and stories, with Idan and Iren recounting their favourite moments from the day and Vincent playfully teasing the boys about their escapades.

“Tomorrow, we’re going hiking in the mountains!” Sophia announced, her eyes shining with anticipation. “I can’t wait to show you guys the trails I love!”

“Are there any cool views?” Idan asked, leaning forward in his seat.

“Only the best!” Sophia replied, smiling proudly. She turned to Ian and Isabella. “You’re going to love it. Just wait until you see the sunrise over the peaks!”

As dinner ended, the family felt a renewed sense of togetherness. The initial worry faded into a beautiful memory of exploration, and they couldn’t wait for the next chapter of their adventure in the mountains.

Idan and Iren saw a beautiful bright blue light outside their window that night. The twins followed it, and to their amazement, the man they met in Paris greeted them. He asked if they wanted to go on a magical adventure. The boys left their aunt’s home without thinking about informing anyone where they were going.

Idan and Iren exchanged excited glances, their hearts racing at the prospect of an adventure. The man standing before them was tall and enigmatic, his eyes sparkling like stars under the bright blue light. He wore a long coat that seemed to ripple like water, and his smile was warm yet mysterious."Come with me," he said, gesturing for them to follow him into the shimmering glow. “I promise you’ll see things you’ve only dreamed of!”

Without another thought, the twins slipped on their shoes, unable to resist the allure of the unknown. They quietly crept out of their aunt’s house, the cool night air wrapping around them like a gentle hug. The bright blue light danced ahead, illuminating their path as they hurried down the quiet street.

As they reached the source of the light, it transformed into a swirling portal, casting brilliant hues across the night sky. The man turned to them, his expression filled with anticipation. “Are you ready?” he asked.

“Ready!” Idan shouted, his voice echoing with excitement, while Iren nodded enthusiastically, barely able to contain his thrill.

The twins stepped forward, hand in hand, and a rush of wind enveloped them as they crossed the threshold. Instantly, they found themselves in a lush forest bathed in moonlight, where trees shimmered with silver leaves and the air was fragrant with blooming flowers. Magical creatures flitted about, and laughter echoed through the air.

“Welcome to the Enchanted Realm!” the man proclaimed, his voice resonating joyfully. “In this place, anything is possible!”

Idan looked at Iren, his eyes wide with wonder. “This is amazing! What should we do first?”

Before the man could answer, a group of tiny fairies swooped down, giggling and beckoning the twins to join them. “Come play with us!” they chimed, their wings sparkling like gemstones.

With a nod from their new friend, the boys dashed off after the fairies, laughter ringing out in the ethereal night. Unbeknownst to them, their aunt was still inside, unaware of the extraordinary adventure her nephews had embarked upon, and the world around them was about to reveal secrets beyond their wildest imagination.

Idan and Iren saw a beautiful bright blue light outside their window that night. The twins followed it, and to their amazement, the man they met in Paris greeted them. He asked if they wanted to go on a magical adventure. The boys left their aunt’s home without thinking about informing anyone where they were going.

As the fairies fluttered closer, their iridescent wings glinting in the moonlight, Idan and Iren exchanged knowing looks, sensing a deeper current beneath the surface of the magician’s cheerful demeanour. Despite the enchanting surroundings and the invitation to play, an unsettling energy lingered in the air. The magician, oblivious to their shared understanding, smiled wider. "Your powers are extraordinary, twins! I can feel it emanating from you. Together, we could achieve so much!"

Idan's brow furrowed slightly. “What do you mean by our powers?” he asked, his voice steady despite the flicker of anxiety in his heart.

Ever the more cautious twin, Iren stepped closer to Idan, sensing the underlying tension. They had always known they were different, raised under the watchful eyes of their ancient family line, but the mention of their powers felt like an uninvited guest crashing a party.

The magician chuckled, his laughter echoing among the trees. “Oh, come now! You don’t need to pretend. I can sense your divinity. Demigods, aren’t you? Just think of what we could do together! You could wield powers beyond your imagination, and I would help you unlock them.”

As the words hung in the air, something sparked between the twins. They weren’t just demigods; they were the children of the Zeus, Athena and guardians of realms. Their abilities were tied to ancient magic and cosmic forces far beyond what the magician could comprehend.

With newfound confidence, Iren stepped forward, looking straight into the magician’s eyes. “You think you can just take our power? You don’t even know what you're dealing with!” His voice rang with defiance, and the fairies paused, their giggles fading into nervous whispers.

Idan joined his brother, standing shoulder to shoulder. “You must have underestimated us,” he said, his voice firm. “We’re not easy prey. We are strong and won’t let anyone use us for their own gain.”

The magician's smile faltered for the first time, replaced by a flicker of surprise. “This isn’t what I expected...” he murmured, a shadow crossing his face.

The ground trembled beneath them as energy crackled in the air. The trees whispered secrets, and the fairy laughter turned to gasps. The twins began to glow, their powers igniting as they connected with the magic of the Enchanted Realm.

“Let’s show him the true strength of demigods!” Idan exclaimed, his spirit soaring as he felt the power surge.

With a synchronised movement, they raised their arms, channelling the energy of the stars above. A brilliant beam of light erupted between them, illuminating the forest and catching the magician off guard.

He staggered back, eyes wide in disbelief, realising that he had underestimated the twins’ legacy and their profound connection to the universe. The fairies watched, entranced, as the atmosphere shifted, filled with awe and anticipation.

“No more games,” Iren declared, his voice resonating with the authority of their ancestry. “You wanted our powers? Now, you will witness them.”

And with that, the adventure took a thrilling turn that would test their strength, resolve, and the essence of who they were as demigods in a world where magic bloomed without bounds.
