Chapter 65 Happiest moments

Standing next to Lydia, Andrew’s expression was utterly defeated.

What on earth was going on?

Amidst the various speculations from the fans, Lambert finished singing the chorus part and rose from the piano. At this moment, Ted also signaled for everyone to quiet down.

“Shh! Everyone, love is always a miracle! This gentleman here is a friend of mine, and today, he’s here for

the girl he loves! So, let’s witness a beautiful miracle together!”

With Ted’s introduction, the venue fell into complete silence.

Fans were thrilled, realizing Ted was helping his friend pursue his girlfriend!

Lambert held the microphone, standing tall on the stage.

A single glance from him silenced the audience, truly silenced them, as the fans felt an inexplicable

tension, fixated on the man on stage, unsure of what he would do next.

Lydia held her breath, feeling her heart almost leap out of her chest.

It was obvious to her for whom Lambert had come.

Lambert stood tall on the stage, scanning the crowd for Lydia’s figure.

His voice, cool yet undeniably authoritative, echoed through the microphone.

“Not long ago, I fell in love with a girl. She’s beautiful, kind, strong, and brave! And now she’s here! I want

to say, she’s mine!”

Lambert’s monologue elicited numerous screams from the audience.

As Lydia was left bewildered, a spotlight accurately found her position. Lambert whispered from the

stage, “There you are, Lydia!”

Lydia’s face flushed instantly. Instinctively, she wanted to find a place to hide, but Lambert wouldn’t give

her that chance.

Amidst the gasps from the crowd, he leaped off the stage and, to Lydia’s surprise, she even took a couple of steps forward in apprehension, only to find herself enveloped in Lambert’s arms!

“Lydia, although this might be a bit late to say, today, I want all our friends here to witness that I love you! Will you be my girlfriend?”

With a snap of his fingers, countless roses descended from above, showering their embracing figures.

Lydia felt like she was about to be knocked out by this overwhelming happiness.

Then she heard her idol whispering in her ear, “Miss, your boyfriend is waiting for your answer. What do

you say?”

The fans were going wild, all chanting in unison, “Say yes! Say yes!”

Dazed, Lydia nodded, prompting waves of whistles and applause.

“Excellent! Now, you’re mine!”

“Thank you, everyone! Sorry for interrupting Ted’s concert. From now on, Ted, the stage is yours!”

Lambert put down the microphone and lifted Lydia horizontally, whispering in her ear, “And you! You’re

mine!”

Lydia was completely dumbfounded at this moment! In fact, since Lambert appeared, her mind had been blank, as if there were only two people in the world–her and Lambert–embracing their love amidst the

witness of countless others.

The atmosphere at the venue was incredibly fervent! The stage was returned to Ted’s hands, and he sang an upbeat song, sending the fans into a frenzy!

Amidst the screams, no one noticed that someone’s heart was breaking!

As Lydia melted into Lambert’s embrace, Andrew felt his heart shattering into pieces.

The intense pain made his face pale, and when he came to his senses, tears had already streaked down

his cheeks.

A nearby spectator patted his shoulder, “Dude, were you touched too? That scene just now was damn exciting! I should do something like that when I chase my girlfriend!”

Andrew lowered his gaze, his expression vacant, as he walked out of the stadium.

He had come here only to accompany Lydia, but now, what was the point of attending the concert alone?

Perhaps he had been wrong from the beginning!

Lydia’s heart had never been with him. Those delusions seemed so laughable now.

In the moment when Lambert embraced Lydia, their eyes briefly met.

However, the warning and possessiveness in Lambert’s eyes served as a stark reminder for Andrew not to entertain any foolish hopes!

Andrew walked out of the arena, leaving behind a lonely silhouette under the moonlight.

Meanwhile, Lydia, blushing furiously, regained her senses only to find herself being carried by Lambert backstage.

Then, she saw a smirk on Lennon’s face.

“Well, this is a success! What about some appreciation for those of us who helped plan and participate? Plus, she’s supposedly a fan of Ted. Is it really okay for her to leave midway through his performance?”

Blushing even redder, Lydia gestured for Lambert to put her down, feeling extremely embarrassed as she greeted Lennon awkwardly.

Lambert shot Lennon a displeased look. “Are you leaving or not?”

Lennon raised his hands in surrender. “Alright, alright, disturbing lovers is a crime, I get it! I just thought

such a meaningful night should be celebrated together!”

Lambert’s cold gaze made Lennon wilt. “We’ll celebrate on our own!”

Lennon sighed in resignation. “Fine, then why aren’t you two leaving yet?”

With an air of nobility, Lambert replied, “We’re waiting for autographs.”

Caught off guard, Lennon turned to Lydia for help. “Lydia, please talk some sense into him. I helped him out! But, I guess I should leave now. Have a great night, you two!”

Lydia chuckled, then remembered she hadn’t even greeted Andrew properly before being whisked backstage by Lambert!

And now, knowing Andrew witnessed the entire scene, she felt utterly embarrassed!

Grabbing Lambert’s collar, she whispered urgently, “That scene earlier must not be aired!”

“The concert is being broadcast live!”

“Oh no!” Lydia buried her face in her hands, mortified by the thought of everyone seeing her

embarrassment!

But then, remembering Lambert’s public confession of love, her face flushed red again.

The two didn’t linger backstage for long.

As Ted returned backstage once more, Lambert quickly arranged for them to take a photo and sign autographs before dragging Lydia onto the car with a dark expression.

For Lydia, this night was an exhilarating rollercoaster of emotions, leaving her heart fluctuating wildly.

But she never expected Lambert to show up here!
