“That’s my business!” Lambert’s tone was resolute.

“NO WAY!” Nydia raised her voice, her eyes on Lydia filled with disgust and anger. “Is it your idea, isn’t it? Did you make my son say that?”
Lydia remained silent, and Lambert stepped forward to block Nydia’s unfriendly gaze. “Mom, it seems you haven’t understood yet! I didn’t ask for your opinion; I’m just informing you! And it’s not that Lydia can’t live without me! It’s that I can’t live without her! Wythe, let’s go! We’re leaving!”
Wythe obediently walked to Lambert’s side and said to his grandparents, “Goodbye, grandpa and grandma! But if you don’t accept my mom, then we probably won’t have a chance to see each other again! After all, I love my mom very much!”
Lambert squatted down to lift Wythe up, holding Lydia’s hand.
