Wythe’s indifferent expression made Odgen and Nydia uneasy, especially Nydia.
Her frosty face carried a heavy expression of confusion. “Why?”
Wythe innocently blinked his eyes. “At first, I was just curious about who my dad was, so I went to find

What Wythe didn’t say aloud was, “So Dad, hurry up and bring Mom back! Then our family of three can be
reunited!”
Lambert wasn’t surprised by Wythe’s answer.
However, a hint of displeasure crossed his deep eyes. It seemed he really should find an opportunity to
have a good talk with the child’s mother.
No matter what she demanded, he would fulfill it.

She strode forward and snatched the child from Lambert’s arms without a word.
Then she spanked his little bottom twice, anger flashing in her eyes. “Why did you run off without
permission!”
Though his bottom stung, Wythe tightly pursed his lips and remained silent, his large eyes watery. looking pitiful.
Lambert, who had his child taken away, turned around with a frosty expression and saw a face that surprised him!
“Lydia?”
Just then, Nydia had already pulled Wythe away. Her face darkened as she turned to Lydia. “How could you hit a child like that!”
Lydia saw Lambert beside her and was momentarily stunned. But her attention was quickly drawn to Nydia’s serious expression.
