Chapter 49 Chapter Forty-Nine
“We picked up breakfast on our way home; we want you and the boys to come eat with us.”
“Okay mom. I will be down in a few minutes.”
“Okay, don’t take to long sweetie.” Mom says and I can’t help but roll my eyes at the use of the pet name. She only says stuff like that when she wants something.
“I guess we better get downstairs.” I say sitting up in bed.
Ryder pulls his boxers on and sits up beside me. “Yeah, baby you are probably right.”
I lean over kissing Ryder once before sliding off the edge of the bed. I grab a pair of pajama pants and a T-shirt from my dresser slipping them on quickly. “You should probably go get a shirt and a pair of shorts or something from your room.” I say looking at Ryder’s nearly naked sexy body.
“Probably. I mean unless you think your mom would enjoy seeing me naked as much as you do.” Ryder says winking at me.
I wrinkle my nose up in disgust. “That is so gross.” I say laughing.
Ryder laughs too, sliding off the bed. “I will see you downstairs in a minute baby.”
“Okay.” I say laughing.
I open my bedroom door making my way down the stairs to the dining room. Mom, Curtis, Reece and Raikin are all already in the dining room. Curtis is sitting at the head of the table, my mom to his left, and Reece to his right. Raikin is sitting at the other end of the table, leaving a chair open between him and Reece.
Raikin is the first to notice me in the doorway. He smiles and tilts his head slightly motioning towards the empty chair. I smile at him and make my way over to the table. “Good morning, everyone.” I say taking my seat.
“Good morning, Lilly.” Curtis says in his polite soothing voice.
“Good morning baby.” Reece says and I widen my eyes at him, glancing towards my mom. “Sis.” He adds after realizing his slip.
Raikin clears his throat. “Good morning sis.”
Raikin makes me a plate, putting a few different pastries on the plate before setting it in front of me. Reece pours me a glass of orange juice, and I love how they take care of me. I look over at Curtis who is watching his sons curiously. “Thank you, guys.” I whisper taking a sip of my orange juice.
“Good morning.” Ryder says in an overly chipper voice.
Raikin narrows his eyes at his brother and then looks at me, and I feel my face heat up. Raikin nods his head in understanding giving me a mischievous smile. Ryder takes a seat across from me, winking at me as he sits in the chair beside my mom. Raikin slides his hand under the table, squeezing my thigh dangerously close to my most sensitive area and I tense up as a rush of excitement shoots through my body.
I take a sip of orange juice, looking anywhere but at Raikin. If I look at him, I am going to lose any self control I have right here at this table. “How was your trip?” I ask my mom trying to ignore the tingling sensation Raikin’s hand on my thigh is causing.
Mom looks at me and then turns to look at Curtis. “It was amazing.” She says not taking her eyes off of Curtis.
“Yes, it was.” Curtis says winking at my mom, and she giggles like a teenage school girl with a crush. I wrinkle my nose in disgust. Eww. I don’t even want to know what they are thinking about right now.
Raikin moves his hand up higher, grazing the top of my pussy through my pants and I gasp, a little too loudly. “Are you alright honey?” Mom asks and I feel my face heat up.
“Umm, yeah. I am okay.”
She narrows her eyes at me and Raikin laughs moving his hand back and forth across my most sensitive area. I grab his hand under the table trying to stop him, but it doesn’t help any. “Are you sure you are okay? Your face is very red.”
“I promise I’m fine mom. So, what were you wanting to talk about?” I ask trying to get her attention off of me, as I continue trying to remove Raikin’s hand from my lap.
Mom’s smile falls for a second, but she quickly recovers. “I didn’t say I wanted to talk about anything honey. Why would you ask that?”
I sigh rolling my eyes. “Because you keep calling me honey, and sweetie, and all the other crap you only call me when you want something. So, what is it mom?” I snap, coming off a little harsher than I meant too.
Mom clears her throat glancing over at Curtis who is looking between me and my mom. If only he knew just how deep our baggage really goes. “Well, we will just get right to it then. We were wondering how you guys would feel about, well about.”
“Oh my god mom. Just say what you need to say.”
“We have decided to spend Christmas in Paris, just the two of us.” Curtis says stepping in to rescue my mom.
Mom gives a small smile. “If that is okay with you guys? I know it is our first Christmas as a family, but we didn’t get to have a honeymoon, and work will be slow around Christmas. So, we thought it would be the perfect time to take the honeymoon we didn’t get.” Mom says finally finishing what she was trying to say.
“You guys want to go to Paris? For Christmas?” I ask incredulously. Raikin squeezes my thigh, and I glance over at him. His eyebrows are furrowed in concern.
Mom takes a deep breath. “Yes, we thought it would be nice.”
“Nice? Seriously mom? We finally have a family, I finally have a family, and you want to rush off to a whole other country. You just had to find a way to get as far away from me as possible right?” I scoff. “It wouldn’t be Christmas if my mom actually wanted to spend time with me.”
“We don’t have to go.” Curtis says, trying to calm the situation. “It was just an idea.”
“Do whatever the hell you want.” I say pushing my chair back and walking out of the room.
“Lilly wait.” Mom says, trying to grab my wrist as I walk past her.
Shrugging away from her, I practically run out of the room and up the stairs to my room. Slamming the door behind me. I throw myself down on my bed, pushing my face down into the pillow. “AAAAHHHH.” I scream bloody murder into my pillow.
The door creaks open. Expecting it to be my mom, I roll over getting ready to throw something, preferably a lamp at her head. “Lilly are you okay?” Reece asks in a soft calming voice.
“No.” I say shaking my head. “No, I’m not. I should have known better than to get my hopes up. I just thought this year would be different. I thought mom would change, you know actually want to spend some time with me since she’s married now. But, no she would rather fly to Paris, or probably anywhere in the world that I am not at.”
“I am so sorry baby.” Reece comes over to the bed, sitting beside me. “I am sorry your mom hurt you again baby. I know you were wanting this year’s Christmas to be different and special.” Reece reaches over wiping a stray tear from my cheek.
